I can’t wait to catch up on all the inspiration once my studio is back in order after 2 months of being packed while basement repairs were being done. My hopes is to be at the table in about a day!
It is one of my favorite things to do now! I am so glad you have shared these 10 min vids because they really help me when I have an "art block"...It brings out my creativity and also helps me use my supplies...I LOVE LOVE LOVE

I can't say I like the timer and rushing; it felt stressful. Good to know that one can create even if one has just a few minutes. I like my creative time to be meditative.

That was fun to watch. I’m glad you took out the drying time. Makes more sense. Your canvas turned out really beautiful. The outline around the focal flowers really made it pop.

Now I know there is magic in those fingers of yours because if I had the same ingredients as you mine would look like bits of magazine glued to a bit of paper with more bits of stuff added in a effort to hide thevfact that the first bits were, basically just junk. Hahahaha not yours, oh no. Yours is a masterpiece. I was just going thru mags last night/this morning looking for, pretty much, the very same sort of stuff. Quick and simple and fun.
Yes, I am very, very new to art journaling and created a page after watching your second lovely 10 minute video. I ended up taking 30 minutes, but it was so satisfying and I love the result! Moving quickly really helped my get over my irrational fears about creating a page, where to start, how to make it perfect, and so on. Now, I can’t wait to use these techniques from today’s video for my next page.

Another gorgeous 10 minute page. Evidence again, we can all find time to do something. France Papillon has "A layer a day" showing you don't have to create a full page in one sitting. You show that with a little preparation beforehand, it's possible to make pages. Half the time, I spend too many wasted minutes searching for product, stamps etc. I need to make up a journalling kit of essentials all in one drawer.

Marta, not sure if this is a “do you see what I see moment” or just my imagination...but after you did your new stencil (and before you did anything else), I kind of saw a city-scape, in that the stenciling looked like different size windows lit up in tall buildings!

Gosh, I literally have boxes of magazine cut outs, waiting for me to a) remember they are there & b) do something with them. I have in the past used magazines & my favourite thing, inside of envelopes! Have you seen how cool some of them are? Quite sturdy too.
