I love how you walk us through your process. You are so creative and think outside of the box.
I recently found your channel and have been binge watching your videos, I have to say you really have inspired me to make surreal collages and I love how you always explain your thoughts and process as you create and decide. Thanks so much for sharing with us 😄
I did the same thing!!! Binged her whole channel in a matter of days!!!
Same!! A stack of Nat geo magazines came yesterday for me to have a go! Thanks Rosie!!
WOW! This makes me so happy to hear! I'm so glad you're enjoying them. Happy collaging :)
Hi Rosie, thanks so much for all your valuable insight into how you think about your images. I find it really inspiring and I am raring to go and and dip my toes into collage. Thanks !
The jellyfish one is so evocative! Very trippy and borderline creepy!
Stalactites have to hang on tight to the ceiling. StalagMites grow up like Mountains. I could watch you all day. ❤❤❤
Your imagination is a safe place to me
Newcomer here and I am hooked. Love your artwork! Thanks for sharing.
I’ve started my collages and can’t stop! I found a whole bunch of old magazines from the 60s and you’re so inspiring and helpful with your tips. Thank you!! Also for starters I got a few frames from the $1 store that have a great space to frame your pieces.
I found Rosie while working on a collage and searching CZcams for collage artists. She is very inspirational.
Rosie your imagination and your cutting skills are amazing! Thanks for another great video. Love your work!
Here's how I remember them. StalaCtites: C for Ceiling. StalaGmites: G for Ground....
ooh i learned stalacTites because they hang from the ceiling and look like tights :D
wow totally binge watching all these videos . There is something really addictive about them. Also very meditative. I find myself lost in the creation. Almost as if I am participating in it. Bravo!
You are so great at what you do ! Really enjoyed watching you create - & the tunes ain't bad - thank you
Love your channel . New viewer I’ll be watching every one you put out. 🙌🏽
Please post more videos soon. I am going stir crazy because I have seen all of your videos now in the last few weeks. They are just so inspiring and ai am really enjoying watch you piece together beautiful art
I found your channel a week ago i guess, and I already am addicted.
I started making collage and I can't stop looking for old magazine to prevent myself from stopping the collaging.
Thank you ❤️
You done it again Rosie nice one & two. Peter scotland xx
in the pictures where people playing ball, I would put a watermelon instead, hah? 😜I'm amazed at how precise cutting you make with the knife. I usually fussy cut, but this is so much better, I really have to start learning to do it...
Rosie these are amazing! I love to watch you collage! You have such a wonderful imagination! TYFS Cindy
Firstly, love your work! You are so creative and inspirational. I enjoy collage too and find it so relaxing to cut out images, no matter how small or detailed. I've got hundreds cut out and need to start using them instead of searching for more images, which I also find relaxing. I use small curved manicure scissors (curve facing out) as this seems to help keep the edges neat, plus the small points are good to cut away in small spaces. To help remember about stalactites and stalagmites: Stalactites hang tightly to the ceiling, while stalagmites might reach the ceiling. I was told this when I was a kid and have never forgotten it.
I appreciate how you articulate your choices. Sure, by now, your artistic intuition “knows” so much, but you share your thought process well.
I dabble in different art genres and I find myself adding humor and surprise…well I amuse myself anyway. Thanks for great programs.
Such fun to watch you create. The end results are great!!
Your video showed up in my feed, enjoying your process and the pictures are really fun. Side note...Stalag(tites) tightrope in the air. Stalag(mites) bugs on the the ground. Easy way to remember, lol.❤
I really like how this one turned out! I love it when you mix the natural or rural with the urban and manufactured. Great composition too!
Wow, I love the concept you created with the house. I think it could be really cool to continue this with other images of houses, and other interiors. Being in quarantine has really opened my eyes to the fact that not everyone's home is a comfy and cozy place to feel safe in. However, some homes are filled with love and support. This type of collage art could tell a whole story about a neighborhood and what quarantine looks like inside multiple houses just with imagery. Thanks for inspiring me!
Rosie, I've watched all your videos but didn't comment on them all (because I'm a luddite). But they're fantastic & you're so cool (& unpretentious)!!!
Very satisfying art process. So fun to watch the coming-together. Suspenseful, because (as you say) even you don’t know where it’s going. I ❤ them both, tho I’d more likely put the flower house on my wall. Interesting that the jellyfish and the flowers could be exchanged. I’m imagining the jellyfish in the house. Great video. I AM LOVING YOUR VIDEOS. 👍🏼
You should do a Q & A! I’d like to know how long it takes you to make a collage on average?
I did a Q&A video a few months back! I think I talked about this, but I usually spend between 3-5 hours making each collage for a video. Usually on the same day, but sometimes it's nice to be able to step away from a piece and come back with fresh eyes.
Love it!!
I love love the house image!!
Rosie you’re so inspiring!! I’ve totally taken up surrealism collaging because of you!!! 💞 (and plan to start posting collage videos on my channel too)
thank you so much for being awesome!!!
I love the way you talk us through your process!
They both came out amazing. Thanks for explaining your process. Great video!
Love this!
this is so fun!
I always learn so much. Love hearing your reasons for choices, etc. More of this helpful.
Beautiful presentation 😊 thank you.
Great video-thank you
Wow I love your amazing ability to integrate your images!
I really like these two collages, Rosie. Great stuff.
I found your channel in my recommendations earlier this week and I'm in love! You are so delightful and your videos are just awesome and so inspiring! I've been binge watching all week. Thank you so much for sharing your process and art with us.❤
Aww thank you so much for all the kind words! I'm so glad you're enjoying them :)
Just discovered you & your amazing collages. I’m hooked & can’t stop watching! Thanks for sharing your thought process of how/why. That guides me in my own collage creations. xoxo
Wow! Great job on both projects.
Those are fantastic!!!
love ur collage vedios!
Always enjoy your videos. Thanks.
Fantastic fun, Rosie!👋🏻✂️
Those are so awesome! Thanks so much for sharing. 😍
Sooooo cool
fantastic💜
Better than AI 💖
Hi Rosie, I was surprised that the jellyfish worked so well in the end. At first I felt like there might be too less contrast, but it really looks harmonic! :) Great job 👏
I was surprised too! It was definitely a stretch and I wasn't even sure it was going to work. Glad I tried it because I love how it came out.
Soooooo coool
Very cool
I would have liked the restaurant in the house
Hi Rosie..I love both collages but the house is fabulous👏👏💜!!!
I love both pieces. =)
Omygod!!!! LoveLoveLove!!!!!! 😲🤯🤩
Always fun look forward to collage thursday. I liked that blue fish and was thinking like a tsunami wave was coming through the streets but how to do that I can't even. That's for all your inspiration
Wow. Absolutely fantastic!! Just found you. I’ll be back
Thoroughly enjoyable episode. I love both but my favourite was the street scene. I never thought that that would work when you were deliberating, but it turned out amazing.
I wonder why you put the jellyfish in this collage upside down. I would have loved their Tentacles hanging down like they do when they float in the ocean
will check back later
They were so fun, I particularly loved the jellyfish one, thanks Rosie for a fun collaging session... Elaine 💖🌼
Yes! I wasn't sure if I could make the jellyfish one work, but so happy it turned out well.
How do you store finished collages ? Also do you have ideas on displaying?
Nice 👏🏼👏🏼
What kind of white paper do you use to paste the collage on?
It looks like You do not worry about copyrights?
Very cool
I’m binging on your videos, and learning a lot! I enjoy your perspective and creativity! 😊
