I saw Zeke take it to the house on a swing pass, last season. The play got called back, with a holding call. He still has some fuel in the tank.

Go watch his highlight reel from last season. He still has that burst and the ability to make people miss tackles. His problems for the last few seasons has been being behind poor offensive lines, just as Pollard struggled behind last season’s line.

Zeke is on the team as a veteran presence to thise young backs. I believe that's the only reason why he there. Zeke was a great back for the Cowboys but they ran him into the ground. He was also a player that never really avoided contact, that killed his career as far as longevity. The same was with Cam Newton.
The Zeke signing to me is like Dave said, don’t expect 2018 zeke. I’m thinking like a Brandon jacobs type year. Also isn’t Akers still out there? Can come in cheap and help sort the room out better as the real load carrier
Dowdle and zeke share snaps like a one two punch like pollard and zeke.
Let zeke get those short yards or goal line plays, he can block, and maybe catch some.

He also makes plays in the passing game as a receiver as well. He had 50 catches last year and made some YAC too. Not 60 to the house but he’s not Ron Dayne or Jerome Bettis speed or size either.

once defenses are tired of tackling Zeke and Freeman because they are power runners. You put dowdle and deuce out there. Its gonna be similar to the thunder and lighting of Zeke/Pollard but it will be more of a tandem.

Usually, 3rd or later. There were RB's better still available at that time. Not better than Zeke as he was years ago, but better than what's left. Still, it's just another one year contract. Rebuild is well underway. Not outright tanking per se, Close.
Duce need two games worth of chances to be starting running back and he’ll literally beast it up. They only gave him the ball when we were winning by 20+ points in the fourth quarter when every defensive player knew it was gonna be a run and did not even bother trying to block receivers and just win in for the run that was so stupid. He had no chance of getting any yards and the third quarters when they would play him. It was always on a play that they knew it was gonna be a run. They need to play him when there’s options to pass the ball and run the ball and that’s when he actually shine.
Acho talking like special teams is only composed of running backs.. its mostly compaed of dbs linebackers tes fullbacks h back etc.. not to mention royce may get cut due to them bith having thr same role

It makes sense for Dak. Zeke and Dak are close friends. Last year, we saw how Dak was treated by some of his teammates. Maybe Zeke is the guy who wouldn't allow that in the locker room. I live close to the Star in Frisco. I have heard some stories from ex players who still love close by. Dak isn't liked much in the locker room, and players feel he gets special treatment from Jerry. If I paid a guy $100 plus million dollars, I would also treat him differently.
