Zyger be like: "so i did some mining off camera"
HAHAHA BEST COMMENT
“The level design is really cool, and the art is really cool, and this tunnel is really cool, and this rock is really cool.”
Yeah at 12:01 the only thing that came in my mind was "Guys I did some mining off camera, here's 64 blocks of diamonds"
She's just inexperienced, and it showed

It’s funny how everyone is enjoying 48 hours, just explaining what they did, and then comes Miziziziz which looks like he is ruining out of time, speed running all explanation to us)
He's an explanation speed runner. No wonder he's into Jams.
Simplicity and stuff, remember?
He only has 48 seconds to explain.
I've always thought he just was more serious about it and just liked the product of the game. Also, some it were the assets that were used needed to be clarified.
Mizziz is clearly a girl
Thanks so much for inviting me! this was such a fun and awesome experience to try something new !
Yo! The game you made was nice!
yay
I just found your channel about a week ago, I was surprised but definitely happy to see you in this jam! Makes me want to start participating in more game jams :)
My favorite youtuber yay
You can't fool me fake Zyger! You didn't say "go ahead" even once during your portion!! Fakger! Zyake?
Everybody: Detailed devlogs telling you practically everything they did.
Zyger: Alright guys so I have some mechanics but there really buggy. So hey guys it's the last day of the jam and here's the game!
sounds like me except the "having a game" part
@@apestogetherstrong341 Ah, I see.
Zyger: I'm about to do what's called a pro Minecraft Tutorial move 11:58
Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity! I had such a fun time jamming with my favourite game devs 😄
Well done! The exploration idea was risky and you pulled it off with grace
@@polymakegames Thank you! It was definitely risky, so I made sure to play it safe with linear game progression and tried to keep programming simple :)
Well done. Yours is my favorite in this jam. And I get what you said about world-building being addictive. You will lose track of time when building a new world.
wow, your game was amazing! I personally would love it if you were to continue it
@@WannibeManisha wow.. which game engine you used ? .. Looks like easy to made.. Cuz I'm learning roblox in this days 😁..
Man, Blackthornprod's style should be a genre. It so distinct that we can know it's Blackthornprod's project
It’s called an art style, lol
Yea
@@readthecomic7946 Not just the art style, him gameplay mechanics and sound design are pretty unique
@@pierresainz1895 Avoiding obstacles in videogames isn't unique.. You've never played Snake before?
@@raccooncityhunk497 lol !!!
Thanks for inviting me to join this cool series Miz :)!
Very cool
U g e i
yooo its you
yay
Epico
I just discovered these videos and they're really cool - but I wish there was a section at the end where all the developers had a chat and talked about what they liked and disliked about each game to each other.
I like how their focus is different... some focused on gameplay, others on story, others on style...
i kinda focused on your mom got them
Wannibe Manisha's game blew me away. I had to pause in awe after she showed her part of developing it. I find it incredible that was created in 48 hours! Awesome job Wannibe Manisha.
haha thank you so much!! :D
Absolutely agree!
I like that Blackthornprod was honest and upfront with the feedback. Some might see it as brutal, but I like it. Feels needed.
Game jams are to learn and improve, afterall ❤
wow I didn't think Blackthornprod would do this
This series looks fun to be part of. I can see why he did.
Yeah, looks fun. And growing and collating with others is a great way to increase your skills
Woah blackthornprod loses a day of time and still makes a great polished game, that's what experience looks like.
YES this was awesome! So many great CZcamsrs :)
Miziziziz's game looks really fun, I like the physics based movement and that rotation of the ship
It’s on steam for 3$ called star prey
Another Art Kit Jam? Hell yeah!
This is definitely one of my favorite dev series on youtube! It's such a simple premise but it never gets old (I guess that's part of the genius)!
noa's just like "you tried your best! A for effort" while subtly roasting their games
It would be very nice to have a discussion after all the games have been played. In a majority of cases, fellow developers are playing the games with no form of critique and usually just talk about what they like. Blackthorn specifically talks about visual and audio design which are aspects generally discarded during game jams. I think everyone benefits from direct critique, even those who are very experienced with game development.
funny 'cos the platformer seems like it'd be like blah because we've seen it so many times, but the onboarding is sooo dope and the overall aesthetic is quite nice
I would've loved to hear some of the other devs give constructive criticism. It felt like BlackthornProd was the only one who did. It's really helpful to aspiring game devs to hear critiques from a wide variety of people, not just one (even if it isn't our game being critiqued)
blackthorn struggling to come up with a good idea but persevering and creating loads of prototypes is honestly quite inspiring for us devs stuck in creative block
The music and content were on point, thanks as always for the video
What is the song?

I'd have to say my favorite game was Wannibe Manisha's, simply because the fps puzzle game with cool level design appeals to me... but all the games were really good! Good to see Blackthornprod joining the series :)
Always looking forward to more episodes in this series, the world building by Wannibe was really impressive!
When miziziz is on a whole different tier of game development
and blackthornprod too
This is pretty solid, and i think this makes for a fun interactive and enjoyable game jam!
Miziziziz shows blackthornprod talking about Sabastian lague! three amazing creators on youtube all in one video
God these are always such a comfy watch! Manisha's game was 👌
black thorn prod is very critical in all these
I love this series so much!
Blackthornprod, Zyger, _and_ Miziziziz? My gosh! Not to mention that this video led me to Wannibe Manisha, who I'll definitely be checking out more now!
Wow. Great jam games!
I like the unlit models that Blackthornprod used.
I managed to play Wannibe Manishas game a few weeks ago and it was definitely great level design.
Zygers platform style is awesome, I didn't expect a 2d platformer with this pack.
And It's cool how Miziziziz put together his spaceship with multiple models.
I love these videos of having youtubers making games with the same art kit within 48 hours. And Blackthornprod was a suprise to me. It's really fun watching you all making games this way. Btw I remember that earlier this year you hosted a game jam with the same rules of having a single art kit where everyone can join. So I hope you'll be doing that again sometime soon! :)
im late to the party but this series has sparked a renewed passion in game developing in me. im hooked! i love this idea and once i finish my first few games I want to challenge myself like this and document it.
I really love your approach to design.
awesome as usual. love this series!
One of my favorite series on youtube.
This series is brilliant; I've enjoyed every one and I've found a ton of new creators to follow while watching. It's a great, simple concept to restrict things just enough to induce creative solutions.
The last one was awesome! What a creative movement mechanic ❤
There's something unique about Blackthorn's art style, I just love it
Yes! I am excited to see another one of these!
My favorite part of these is definitely seeing other people play the games. Its a super unique and awesome part of this series
Idk why everyone had such a hard time with Miziziziz's game, I beat it in like 3 minutes lol. All the games were so nice, always look forward to seeing these videos!
I love the miziziziz gamejams
I love these videos! Consider to keep doing them! :)
Blackthornprod is one of the most helpfull devs i seen, he actually points out what could be improved on others games.
Windows XP forever. Nice game jams ! Whats really nice, i have been following Blackthorn and Mizi for a while, and you can see there distinct style in their games !
Its actually 10 with a theme lol
I love the art style of Blackthornprod.
honestly with a some more graphical variety and small tweaks blackthornprod's game could be a smartphone game smash
Everyone of you did a great job.
My favorite gamedev gamejam series!
This was really cool! Impressed at what all of you were able to do. Having BTP make 27 prototypes before knocking out a game had me laughing so hard though :P I guess there was too much time for him to really get pushed ;)
I love content like this it's so interesting and fun to watch
the format is perfect: Educative, Interesting and fun. Great game s
Ps. What is the name of the music you used (in the video, not the game)?
Caution - Skrxlla
@@davidmendoza682 Thanks!
Another great jam video!
Man I really wanna participate in this, this seems like so much fun
They can walk on the platform like here "Jump and go inside the ground"
Damn this inspired me to create games again!!!
Random thought, maybe the title being "4 Game Developers, 1 Art Kit" would be catchier?
That sounds familiar...
Then cut off two of the devs, make sure the two left are girls and replace their art kit with a cup
"2 Female Girls, 1 Glass Cup"
The current title is better
@@freecandy6408 no current one is a mouthful
Oh so cool, you always bring in talented developers, it was nice that this time you invited some women. I'm always happy to see this kind of content, you are very good at organizing this, this kind of content is unique, thank you friend and I congratulate you for reaching 100k subscribers, your channel is generating a great impact for all developers
Ohh man, my all favourite yt channels together 😍
Whuuut...this is crazy
Didn't even know people can create games this fast now
Wow Manisha made this cool 3d game in such short time?!
I love this series
Really like this idea to see what happens to the game.
To add your own take on the "game pass idea" could go around twice. That way, each person sees the game twice. trying to take the game back in to there own direction.
This makes me feel really bad about the fact I still haven't finished a single game since I started learning two years ago >_
First game's sound fx are amazing
Wow what an awsome feature
They are so amazing, I've subscribed them before
The first was actually really amazing.
What a lineup! Thanks for continuing this series 👍
Wow that was really cool
I wait for these like a crackhead for their pusher
This is probably my favorite game dev series on youtube.
Getting stuck and then watching a Sebastian Lague tutorial is very relatable
One thing that I think will add if people are ok with is a post mortem after thay hear everyone thoughts, other than amazing video!
Great Games, Well done guys. 👍
Oh shoot. The heavy hitters.
I was waiting for another upload of you ;)
Hope I can join one of these challenges someday
blackTohrnProd + Zyger + you = awesomeness
Wannabe manisha's gives me outer wilds vibes
Really nice
The new music really helps the video, very straight forward and juicy with the montage
a pure stroke of luck to be 1 minute late.
Oh boy, 3d snake!
Good series
Hurray! It’s back!
Yay
zyger doing a little "off camera mining"
Heck yeah!
This art kit reminds me of Lego classic space a little bit
I really liked Wannibe's game. I'm just in the mood for a chill, adventure/exploration/stealth game I guess. :)
Menisha's atmosphere is cool
I have come to accept that I will never be able to make games good enough to ever be able to be in this series
Didn't expect to see Noa :0
Spherical delight looks suspiciously like shrinking planet by brackeys
These might be my favourite videos on YT.
good shit mizter
Nice Windows xp theme. Do you also use shell to make your start menu look Windows xp?
