i love that the 200 dollar one was a literal RAW version, and 65 dollar one was like 20x better

@@Fireinthewater there is
Ok but before than
@@Fireinthewater go touch some grass
@@Fireinthewater36subs no girl 💀
The second one went all out making it amazing. Can't believe he got paid so much less than the first one that looked like something I could make in about an hour or two.
Bro got scammed soo hard
accurate representation of Programmers and their HRs😂
Ngl he definitely deserved the 200$ more than the first guy lol
Bro the first guy did all the coding 2nd guy only added free models don't throw ur opinions around if u can't even code
@@pokemontrainer6941 I can code. But I assume you aren't able to code. Because if you could code then I doubt you would look at what the first guy did and think to yourself that is 200$ worth of code. Something as simple as movement isn't even coded well.
I never said that the second guy did a bunch of coding that dwarfed the first guy. But coding isn't the only aspect of making a game. And the first guy had no heart nor quality in what he brought to the table. The second guy had both. Free assets or not is irrelevant. Literally the movement that the first guy coded is more embarrassing than any free asset one could use.
Bro payed 200 dolars for the first version and got an simple battle royale then he payed 65 dolars and got an 65x better version
paid
It's "paid" not payed. 🤓
@@kinglish12 wasnt correcting more or so just informing the mistake so it doesnt happen as often next time, no ill intentions
I'm kinda sad that the proper lighting system was just scrapped for an iris over the screen.
Yeah, pay someone to fix that and you got a decent game.
If one of them made a centipede I would die
Blackthornprod moment
Add centipede Rewrite all lore just make it your way
Imo the 65 Dollar guy was the best. Made the best improvements Overall and basically Finished the game. The 100 Dollars guys changes werent that good and Almost gone in the end.
And that 200 Dollars guy honestly ripped off. Delivered just basic Code you could pretty much copy from anywhere. Took them probably a Day Max to Do this. For 200 Bucks...
The 65 guy probably needed a couple of days for those improvements. Working with unknown Code and improvements it is a lot of work
"A day max to do this." OK, so let's break that down. 8 hours of straight coding for an 8 hour work day, $25/hour. You consider $25/hour a ripoff rate for coding a video game? That's $10/hour more than the Fight for $15 movement for a "Living Wage" most people were literally MARCHING for just a few years ago. Coding is skilled labor, something someone trained for (I'm an electrical engineer, entry level for that kind of work is around $25/hour, I suppose our code monkeys rip off our clients?).
Really amazes me when people spout off about what is and isn't a ripoff without thinking about the actual costs of it. People should be paid for their labor. $25/hour isn't a ripoff for coding. If anything, the *rest* of the devs were *underpaid* for *their* work.
@@Diana2112Gaming first of All genius I am a software engineer making a little more than that 200$ guy. Secondly I said it is a ripoff because he didnt do a lot of work. I dont even think he worked 8 hours on that project. If any time at all. Guy also seems like an entry Level coder. And I dont think he was from the US? Just consider that other countries have different cost of Living. With my wage for example I am already upper middle class.
And if I were a freelancer I would cost about 100 per hour because then I would need a lot more to get a bit more wage, as the cost for having a Business is quite high.
No wonder you are not a coder. No reading comprehension and barely can think stuff through
@@fresch4395 First off genius I *do* run code, *and run my own business* but hey, you do you. Secondly wow racist much with the "I don't even think he was from the US" way to put other nations down. Thirdly you even admit that freelancers should get paid more, so even if he DID put in only 2 hours of work, at your self-admitted rate of $100/hr that's still $200 worth of work. Hmm... No reading comprehension and can barely think things through.
Next time you fly off the handle at someone, maybe make sure you're not full of garbage first--especially since you'll note my reply to you isn't in anger or malice, merely questioning why you're being the way you are. But you're so full of anger, hate, and bigotry it's no wonder.
I'm done here. Get over yourself Mr. Software Engineer. I see exactly what it is now, dude got paid good money for a job you can't even pull off and you're jealous. Goodbye and good day.
prototype almost anyone could wip up in less than 2 hours for 200$. 10/10 would buy again
its probably a typo in text script, it should have been 20$, not 200$...
it would make much more sense
@@elementar2359i hope
Would love to see multiplayer support added to this!
Limonado is pretty much carrying this entire series
How could you've paid someone $200 to make a game that bad while i could make a better one for 10% of the price. I am confused. Is it how much games are acctually worth?
maybe he asked him to make a prototype.
if he didnt , the first game is definitly not worth 200 dollars
@@ahmed_dz5127 So do you mean prototype costs more than prototype+extras?
@@josioh5725 no, i am saying maybe he asked for a prototype and chose to pay 200 dollars for it
The 200$ you got scammed soo hard!
I feel like the first dev ripped you off
you got ripped out of the 1st one so hard, it gives pain to see such scam
Daamnnn!!! 3rd one is cool as hell !!!
Ahhh I felt SanDevistan !!!!!
Limonado always is the GOAT in these videos
The first one you got scammed hard
Bro wasted his money 💀
the first one was a complete scam lol
If you had paid a single developer the total amount do you think you would have gotten a better game?
As a software developer myself I know that when taking over a project from another dev you can waste a ton of time figuring out how the current code works versus when I start from scratch myself I know exactly how it works and can flow right to the end.
The first guy would have probably delivered Almost the same thing for that kind of money. But the second guy, damn, probably would have been really good
@@fresch4395 that second guy sure was good at pixel art, he probably made all the art in a day or something (probably not but the video didn't say how much time each person took)
the first guy mugged you 😂
Last dev didn't change the whole graphic and mechanics and didn't add a centipede. 0/1 (centipedes)
Nice video and s/o to blackthornprod, i love those developing without communication vids ❤
nice that the fourth fixed the third super fast gameplay
I like this content!
you should make more scary games its really entertaining
Hey bad could you make a video with this title
Making fiver devs make 3d fps games
it would be cool
well in end you could had your spin of making it a web based games
And then Blackthornprod steps in and adds in a giant centipede
i like this concept
I could make a better version of the first game on SCRATCH.
me too
Tbh scratch is easier and simpler to use
@mayonaizs soda no tf it isn't lmao if you want to do anything even slightly advanced it would be way easier to use ROBLOX with a visual scripting plugin or Unity with the built in visual scripting
@@mayonaizs sometimes but thats just if your making a simple game, its actually harder in my opinion
@@CRT_YT yeah
What is up with game creators making game without communicating all of a sudden
Hey you make games right can you make a new version of swordigo it's a RPG adventure game with boss fights and it was a gold goeted game can you make swordigo 2 please🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙎
Making Flash Games Would Be Better.
Hey that trail reminds me of something...
you should make "You probably won't survive" purchasable on steam. I have steam money, but am broke irl and can't get your patreon. I feel a lot of other people are in the same boat as me too
Sup bro
while i was watching b4 you said it was inspired by blackthorn i thought you were him
YAY BADGAMEDEV USED MY IDEA!
Wait.... I commented you to do the idea and you were inspired by a different youtuber who did that exact same idea, is that an coincidence?
Do a Card Game in 10 Minutes, sure that'll be easy
200 dollars for that was a robbery
nice a vid
The prices for the first two devs needs to be reversed. I get the first one did a lot of coding and groundwork, but he deserves $65, while the second guy deserves the $200.
i stopped watching you but im back
Sir i have a big question for you. Please do reply
Huh seem familiar
can you try making a game on scratch?
No way was this made in like fricken GDevelop?? 😂
You probably won't survive. You need more characters to choose from.
- Sebastian
So underrated
что именно
that was the first and last $200 he ever made to make a game lol
I miss madmaker7 also you gotta call the devs out when they make garbage games
Good comment
Bro went from actually making games to just milking his Fiverr affiliate link in every video smh...
Said it elsewhere, but it amazes me that so many people are commenting that the first dev "ripped off" BadGameDev at $200 for what they did. At a full day's work (8 hours) that's $25/hour. For *coding* work. That's not a terrible rate. It disgusts me when people think artists, musicians, and devs should be paid *peanuts* for their work, *just because* it's not physically demanding (I say this as an electrical engineer (and former gigging musician, don't come at me about how it's not physical being a musician--I'd like to see you lot do 180 days of touring body thrashing every night on stage)).
Do better, people.
first was a scam XD
That costing $200 was NOT worth it. I don’t care if you said “just make a battle Royale game” they should’ve done it WAY better. The first version sucked
02:00 i can make better game for only 5 dolars lol
Make a game about this story
Once upon a time, in a small village nestled at the foot of a mighty mountain, there lived a young girl named Luna. Luna was known for her adventurous spirit and her insatiable curiosity about the world around her.
One day, while exploring the forest near her village, Luna stumbled upon an old, dusty book hidden among the foliage. Intrigued, she carefully opened its worn pages and discovered a map that led to a hidden treasure said to possess magical powers. Without hesitation, Luna embarked on a thrilling journey to find the legendary treasure.
Following the map's intricate trails, Luna crossed sparkling rivers, traversed dense forests, and climbed steep cliffs. Along the way, she encountered diverse creatures who offered both aid and challenges. She made friends with a mischievous fox who guided her through a labyrinthine maze, and she helped a wounded bird find its way back to its nest.
As Luna continued her quest, she faced numerous obstacles that tested her courage and determination. She solved riddles, navigated treacherous caves, and overcame her fears. Along the path, she learned valuable lessons about perseverance, kindness, and the power of believing in oneself.
Finally, after a long and arduous journey, Luna arrived at the fabled Chamber of Wonders, where the treasure awaited her. The chamber was filled with shimmering light, and at its center stood a magnificent crystal adorned with intricate engravings. As Luna approached, the crystal emitted a soft, gentle glow and whispered ancient secrets of wisdom and magic.
Luna realized that the true power of the treasure was not in its physical form but in the knowledge and enlightenment it bestowed upon those who sought it. Filled with a sense of awe and gratitude, Luna vowed to use the wisdom she gained to make her village and the world a better place.
With newfound wisdom and a heart full of dreams, Luna returned to her village, where her tales of adventure inspired others to embark on their own quests for knowledge and self-discovery. From that day forward, Luna's village thrived with the spirit of exploration, creativity, and unity.
And so, Luna's story became a legend, passed down from generation to generation, reminding all who heard it that within each of us lies the potential for extraordinary journeys and the power to unlock the treasures of our own hearts and minds.

I ain't paying a guy $200 to make a game that chatgpt could replicate💀
maybe he used chatgpt
i think he made a mistake in his text script, it should be 20$, not 200$...
