Ryan Glen Mason (born 13 June 1991) is an English professional football coach and former player. He became the interim head coach of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur in 2021, becoming the youngest coach in Premier League history, at 29.
Mason progressed through the youth ranks at Tottenham Hotspur and made his first team debut in 2008. He was loaned to Yeovil Town, Doncaster Rovers, Millwall, Lorient and Swindon Town, and played his first Premier League match for Tottenham in 2014.
After establishing himself in the Tottenham first team squad, he made his full international debut for England in March 2015. Mason moved to Hull City in 2016 for a club record fee, where he suffered a fractured skull in January 2017 in a match against Chelsea.
After a prolonged treatment and on the advice of medical specialists, he was forced to retire from professional football in February 2018.
He is currently First Team Coach alongside Antonio Conte at Tottenham.

Top man Ryan.
Every single Spurs fan knows that dream - only a special few will make it reality.
One of our own!
Respect and love to you & your family.
which part of the videos does he say he won't change a thing if he could go back to the past?

@@louiebond3013 thank you
I was there that day at Stamford Bridge when Ryan's career ended. I didn't feel right celebrating the win after the game. All my thoughts were with Ryan that day. God bless you, sir.
👍🙏
What an incredible person Ryan is, I’ve always rated him highly but my perception of him improved more and more as the episode went on. His hunger and desire to improve and be better is something we should all be concentrating on as people. Backing him every step of the way if he is to lead Spurs out at Goodison Park come April 3rd. COYS 💪
Setting aside the fact that I am a Spurs supporter… watching this interview was amazing just seeing Ryan speaking so openly, honestly and transparently. What a man! Thanks to you guys as always for putting out consistently awesome content! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you Jake and team; but most of all to Ryan. What an inspirational, centred, motivational, soulful and humble human.
What clarity, what vision, and what desire. See it, believe it, achieve it. I am struck by his attitude to football, to his family, to life in general. So many brilliant takeaways for anyone in any sphere of life. Thanks to Ryan and the HP team for the gold
What an amazing guy, real good insight to what he’s been through. You never truly know what people have been through in their lives. Incredible

His story is very sad .. got me emotional! What a turnaround! Respect.
We spurs fans love you mason ❤️ , Keep Growing and Learning
Great podcast and from a united fan who only really watches United I didnt have any idea of what Ryan Mason was like as a person. but got to say im massively impressed and its inspiring to hear someone come across so well and be so passionate about what whatever they do, wether its playing or coaching, to the best of their ability and not be afraid to pit themselves out there to say they want to do well and not stick with the majories who dont push themselves as hard!
I love this podcast . After breaking my leg and ankle and dislocating my ankle i was told i could never play football again . (I still cant run a year later)
And nothing prepares you for going through so much pain and feeling helpless laying in a bed in hospital. Mine happened when covid was going on and wasnt allowed any visitors it was a hard time
I really enjoyed listening to his story a strong guy ! And i can relate to him
Thankyou for letting him talk and spend the time explaining it all!
Stay strong Bro .
@@thehappinesscounsellor6729 thanks !!
What a open and honest interview Ryan has given, respect to the man👍I really hope he will be given the chance very soon to manage his boyhood team. God bless him😊👍💙💙
It's nice to hear Ryan talk about things and to learn more what he's like as a person what a strong willed man he is the mentality of this guy is crazy to bounce back from such a horrendous thing just shows his character and as a player he had everything I'm a west ham fan but what a fella he has my respect and no one can dislike this bloke what a legend
Our future manager COYS

Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 from an arsenal fan.
What a top top fella 👌🏼 loved this pod I hope Ryan goes on to achieve huge success as a coach COYS
This is PR from the Spurs hierarchy as they know Ryan Mason is going to be Spurs manager after the international break. Perfectly timed. I think he will do a great job.
And.... Harry Redknapp has stated he'd be happy to help 🎉🎉🎉 kamikaze Redknapp #coys
Wow, what a bloke
What an inspiration that young man really is. Surrounded by the right people, he will be a fantastic football manager. Hopefully for Spurs.
Ryan ..thanks for making me understand that life can be beautiful after a bad patch ..
quality video, we need more stuff like this, really indepth, humble and interesting, good stuff!
what an incredible person! COYS
I'm a podcast addict and only halfway in... my gosh I'm speechless an in awe of Ryan's strength . Thank you high performance and of Ryan Mason💙
Agree
Absolutely inspiring to experience such a knock back of having to stop playing football where he has dedicated and sacrificed so much to do and move on and maintain this great positive outlook on life!!

A really inspiring listen, and i think one of the interviews with some of the most valuable takeaways. It's always so difficult to compartmentalise high performance and boxing that off so as it isn't at the detriment of family life, but certainly some lessons here for me! Thanks Ryan, what a great guy!
What a man. Respect.
What a story, What a guy.
What a human, could listen to Ryan talk all day 👏🏼
Bloody love Mason ❤
What a lad ,what a person 👌 great aurora about him really enjoyed this one 👍
Thank you
Just starting the episode. You guys are a fantastic show. Looking forward to the mason episode 🙌🏾
Love this, hopefully Tottenham next manager one day 🤍
God’s gunna use this man greatly!
A lovely guy. Met him once and super friendly. Very appreciative of his time
reminds me very much of Eddie Howe, hopefully Ryan will get to manage in the Prem again soon, seems nice guy.
What an amazing young man
Well done Ryan . Great Professional, great human.
What a man, great episode.
This is a crazy dope channel. Can't wait to see more.
loving the content watched most if not all of it
Without doubt, Ryan will make a great manager given time & support
We are hopefully listening to our next manager speaking here. Coys! I would love for mason to take over
@@matthewsmith8727 he really wasn't
@@matthewsmith8727 won 4 of his 6 games in the prem
@Matthew Smith yes but not in that context, as Ryan said it was not the right time for him - and if he was to take up management then he would’ve started at a league 1 side. That doesn’t mean us spurs fans wouldn’t love to see Ryan Mason one of our own leading the charge in the future, hes had experience under poch, Jose and Conte, his academy sides literally broke records for us, won 4/6 in the prem, lives and breathes Spurs, just a young man developing his coaching career
Good player, likeable guy but no where near enough experience to manage Spurs (or any other team in premiership)
Best choice in my opinion absolutely smashing player for us. Can’t wait for him to take us to a title or cup! Trust the process Ryan ❤
Inspiration to us all and hopefully one day will be Tottenham head coach! COYS
Very well spoken person, Ryan Mason.
I'll say it again. Cahills challenge in that game was f**kin reckless. There was no way he was going to win that header, and he knew it. He had previous for these type of aeriel challenges! Love Ryan Mason.
Agree
Who cares.
What a man!!!! I hale and respect this guy so much!!!!! Even from a gooner 😞👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Fantastic interview.
Amazing. ❤ Mase!
I just love this channel
Luv Ryan Msson stories life
Class from Conte visiting him.

top top lad Ryan!
Gotta love the lad!
Cheers jake
In the same vein, can we hear the Fabrice Muamba story at some point please?
Top man
Let’s go Mason!!!
Watch this interview and tell me this man shouldn't be the next permanent tottenham manager
Can you review Brownhill. For me best mid on the game.
Why were my links to the UK head injury charity Headway removed!?
which part of the videos does he say he won't change a thing if he could go back to the past?
Mase, u will lead our club to glory
Respect to Willian 🙌🏼
Interesting how he said the players were so unfit under Jose
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Next guest : Gary Cahill
Gary Cahill should pay compensation to Ryan for what he did. His challenge was an unnecessarily late (hours late) header which he wasn't going to get to the ball yet still went for the header to leave a mark. People argue these cynical challenges are part of the game but he didn't even get a caution from the ref for it.

Why are my comments removed instantly!?
Ryan was a decent player, what happened was a terrible accident. But please don't let levy mug you off aswell,go and become a decent manager
You can't fool your brain Into never thinking a single negative thought! It's a rediculous idea! No wonder this presenter stays awake at night hating himself. This silicon valley notion is damaging to the conscious and subconscious,as your not being true to yourself. Which if I'm honest I've always seen in this presenter. You see this a lot with corporate people, until they have a breakdown. My advice would be stop talking like your doing a groundbreaking PowerPoint presentation on positivity and be real to start with, then learn to reframe and observe.
Completely agree, something so pompous and synthetic about Jake Humphries
Really? High Performance?
🤍🤍
Three people who know nothing about "high performance" talking about high performance. Welcome to the modern world.
Topspur? What’s dat
I'm no spurs fan ,but they is time and a place to say that tbh

What a gentleman ryan is he"s a top top bloke and down to earth and will always be a spurs legend shame he"s career had to end so short but in time iam sure he will be a top spurs manager again i wish him all the best for the future and iam sure that he's got more history to make with he's boyhood club 👏👏👏

Lucky to be alive? Man talking as if he had a run in with a tractor at high speed. Suits spuds perfectly
Non responsive means the patient is currently dead, so that alone means he's lucky to be alive
