A couple weeks ago we sprayed a car in Ultra Sparkle Glitter - an amazing glitter product that we found on Amazon. This stuff gave us the most holographic and metallic finish we've ever soon. Today we spray Candy Concentrate from House of Kolor right on top. Enjoy :)

*Did it surprise you or look just like you expected?*
You should try the Polaris Yellow with the Glow in the dark pigment! To see if it changed the color at all!
Please do Arctic black and motor oil⊠been asking for a while now fonz :) much love!! Canât wait to dip my own rig!
Yes and no. I expected the texture (and I am 100% with you, looks like sandpaper). Think the gloss exaggerated it, probably wouldn't have been as bad with a more matte finish. On the other hand, I wasn't expecting the blue to come out that sharp. Certain angles (and when you were spraying) it sort of looks like a crushed glass look.
Could some (or most) of that texture be eliminated with a few coats of gloss topcoat laid down over everything?
I was also wrong... I thought it would smother it all but I forgot just how big those particles were... now it looks almost like an industrial finish... looks like its took on a more aggressive look.. .. like 240 grit.... 240 grit blue!!!
I'd love to see a harlequin colorshift paintjob. Like the harlequin volkswagens. Every panel is a different color shift. Would be alot of masking and alot of different spray sessions but it would be super trippy seeing so many colorshifts/hypershifts on one vehicle
I'd like to see another kind of harlequin job.. đ€«
Or maybe use the color-shifts to replicate a "swirled pattern" abalone look that some watch dials/faces have...that would be trippy on a car as well. It would almost be like a color-shift camo pattern.
Yoo thats an awesome idea
Yes!!!
A big undertaking but would be awesome!!!!
Fonziâs new line of peel-able sandpaper. Comes in a variety of colors. đ
I actually really like how textured it looks! Very unique in its own way đ
Hammeright/hammer finish to it!
Or like frost
It looks like glossy bedliner...
Oh look - it's a sparkly blue rhino liner! đ
But seriously, I love that shade of blue. Yes, the glitter had a texture, and the top coat didn't change that, but it doesn't look bad. Just... different. Textured like bed liner or undercoating. Great color. đ
That's exactly what I was gonna say
@@kenarrington1122 Ditto !
You stole my thought of a blue Rhino liner. LOL
I love the cobalt blue, but gotta say I think a lot got lost in the camera. Probably sparkles a lot more to see it in person.
That's what I was thinking. I can't see the holo but it still seems to sparkle. It does seem sunnier than a lot of the times they film too, so that may be part of it as well.
Could you try a candy apple red with a gold pearl over top that might look really nice
2023 these tunes never get old.
Either way it looks so beautiful, love the shade of blue
I absolutely love this! Itâs almost like a mat finish. EPIC!
This is beautiful !
What a color looks great
I Love it! That sparkle is crazy!
Please do Arctic black and motor oil⊠been asking for a while now fonz :) much love!! Canât wait to dip my own rig!
I love the colour. Certainly plenty of texture. Looks awesome either way.
it's everything i expected!!!!! looks so cool
Ive been watching this channel for some time now. Ive never commented before. This is actually pretty cool. I think you've created a monster. This will be a "thing" now. Great job!
I love the texture of the paint
The texture reminds me of the spray-on bed liner that people sometimes cover their whole truck/Jeep in, just with sparkles making it 110% more fabulous. Definitely a fantastic shade of blue, too!
Great work, I love the bloopers.
So, tip on the big flakes. You can do plastidip with large flake in a car, just like with regular solvent based paints you have to bury the flake with a few extra coats of clear to smooth it out. It's expensive and it takes more time but it can be done.
How pretty!
That is a purty 5.0 right there!!! Love it!
Thatâs sick texture and all đŻ
That blue with metallic flakes omg will be heaven on earth!
Great color choice.
I know Iâve been kind of a pest for asking this, but what would happen if you mix lava red with shadow black? And which color base would be best for that color combination? I love the work you guys do, and I like the different projects you guys do. They look really cool.
You would get a dark red/orange depending on how much black you mix in, I would use a black base
@@lowell7323 either way I figured âdark infernoâ would be a good name for that combination. However if I remember correctly he used an avalanche gray base when he introduced lava red into the inventory
My last project was high reflect silver base, then black to accent the lines of the panels, then red candy over the lot. I thought the black would have killed the silver underneath, but to my surprise it didn't. The project looks like it's glowing red hot with the charred edges still smouldering away. Pity I can't add some pics.
@@thomashogg2341 They should invent a platform you could post a video of it on
@@WHDRWN Be glad I don't do videos mate, I;m proper ugly LMFAO
This is why a few of the truly dope paint jobs are done the classic way⊠the dip is coo if you want a certain look⊠but flakes w/candies or pearls deserve a glob of clear to truly appreciateâŠ.
Lots of Texture - Great Content, Great Video !!!!!!
At first I wasn't that happy with it, but then you showed it up close and I love đ it. I'd love to see if that texture would be there on any kind of red.
Not sure about this one. The texture looks like it's been hand painted.
yeah that's what you get when you use huge grain craft glitter. projects like this are just for fun though.. wouldn't recommend a customer to replicate
You are totally right. That is way to much texture. The colour and the sparkle is awesome. The texture gives me the willies
Love It!
Wow ! Always hated blue color but this one dope !!!! Wow
This is gonna be GOOOOOOOOOOOD! LET'S GOOOOO!
Holy smokes Batman. Thatâs awesome I want this colour on everything.
â€â€â€â€ I love the color
I wish there were some still photos of this because the glitter seemed to obliterate the bitrate of the video, but it looked like oldschool hotwheels cars with the glittery blue paint, it looks awesome.
Itâs like a alien skin texture! Pretty awesome!
Personally I adore the textured effect!!! It gives off a wet look to the car, as if it was covered in water droplets đ
You just showed me what o needed to see. The only thing I needed different was to see a Candy Tangerine over a Gold and Orange Flake.
The texture looks like my car texture . đ€©
That sparkle with black..... that would look dope
This looks sooo good. I will actually want my car to look like this.
It actually almost reminds me of that Vanta black galaxy vid a little. I like this more than I should.
I like that beat
Frozen Pear with Emerald Green Holographic Flake đ„¶đđ
I like the suddle shift in the blue and glitter. Sort of a matte look of with a Rhino liner texture.
I can't seem to recall. Have you ever mixed one of your effect powders/pearls in to the candy spray? I usually see candy go down over top of an effect base which I imagine is the intended use but I was curious.
You make painting a car look so easy :-) All your videos are fun to watch. I didn't think the glitter would still show though. Cool looking end result. Was cool with just the glitter. It was more unique looking with just the glitter.
Looked pretty cool to me. You should definitely try the black candy over a chrome base to get a gunmetal type color!
I'd rock that on my wheelchair that looked really really đ
Pink car, alien pearl, and this glitter on top!
The color turned out great but youâre definitely right about the texture. It is really noticeable with the darker color.
Has a very 70s vibe to it .but your definitely right with the surface texture
After watching so much of your videosâŠI wonder will you do multiple color on one car..masked design etc. i love to see that đ
Even with the texture it's quite pretty. "Superman blue" đ€Ł
the hue looks so good but the paint is a bit rough like you said
Once coated with the candy, you have to bury that flake under 3-4 coats of clear if you want that slick, hard candy look...that's with any of the big, chunky flake like that...
The flake mixing and pours are good, but the candy is easily my favorite. There's just something satisfying about the swirls in the liquid.
I have always loved the candy blue color and the ultra-sparkle does add a dimension that is very unique. I do not like the texture, but I would love to have the Candy Saphire Blue on my 66 Corvair when I get finished with all the body work and mechanical work.
Sparkly blue sandpaper!!!
I knew about the texture and there would be a sparkle and shine. We use to paint the race car with candy apple red use glitter in the silver undercoat.
My prediction was correct. However, i thought, "what do I know? Fonzi is the expert." đ that stang looks awesome, bro! I love it!
I kinda like the surface texture look
Yo. This with a black base would look like a moonless sky at night. Just twinkling stars everywhere.
I give it a 5 it awesome
You should try the holographic glitter over musso black, Iâm curious as to what effect it would create being that its got bigger particles. I absolutely loved the out come of the last video with the black.
Very nice
If thereâs one thing Iâve learned from watching this Chanel for years is that no matter what you might think, f it just spray it and fonzie will make it work
Do you ever do videos unpeeling the paint? That would be so satisfying!
I love blue so this is excellent Iâd give it a 5
this looks wayyyyy better in blue than it did in pink!!!
Still nice
I've been looking for a color as close to the WRB on my WRX that I can add some colorshift pearls to and I think I found it with Cobalt Blue!!
quite surprised you didn't add some glitter in with the candy blue. would have been super sparkly!
I'd love to see a sparkling graphite base with candy orange over it.
this iconic color for the subaru WRX 2004
Screw how it feels. How it looks is what matters lol. Looks dope!!!!
An easy 5 for me. Iâd love to see a color shift sparkles like gold/green. đ„”đ«¶đœ
I need more Candy Cobalt Blue!!đ„șđ„ș
How does the texture feel?
@DipYourCar you should try the Polaris Yellow with the Glow in the dark pigment! See if it changed the color at all!
The sparkle on that Blue reminds me a lot of the effect of the pearls on the Musou Black. I dig the effect, not the Blue. I'd love to see something like this on a really deep British Racing Green or a reasonable facsimile.
I feel remembered st my metchbox cars :D đ
Kinda got that bedliner look to it...đ€đ
It looks like blue rhino liner. Kinda cool actually
I'd love to see what happens with a black base and spraying voodoo violet candy over it!!!! đ
Awesome effect. Question..
Would a coat or two of clear make it look smoother?
My birthday is on Easter this year. I was hoping you could do a cool new splash paint scheme on your truck or get a Tahoe. Thanks
This reminds me a lot of diamond edition Funko pops
Sweet
Looks like a sand storm blew through while you sprayed. Don't care for the glitter but that blue is pretty nice
Wow looks good I wonder what a Candy Pink or Black over the top on that sparkle
For a topcoat, use auotflex gloss.
The look and color remind me so much of a HotWheels toy car I had in the 90âs. Lol
Damn son looks amazing and I shall name you Candy Cobalt. Keep them coming brother.
Old low rider paint guys showed me how to mix the flake into the candy. You spray a heavy flake over silver or white and then put your root beer down or candy apple or what have you but since the candy has some flake in it you get this depth / stats in space effect.
Too bad you can't sand between layers . That's the difference between hard cure and dip though.
I Spray the Candy Blue over Orion Silver.
Then Mix a little Glitter Pearl in my Clear and Spray 3 Coats over the Candy Blue.
Then 2 Coats of Just Clear....
The Glitter Pearl Really Stand's out.
You have to be Careful and not use Too Much Glitter Pearl or it will Totally over power The Whole Paint Job.
Just a Touch of Glitter Pearl will Do it...đ
I would really love to see a throw up organ bile colored car! â€
