I want this comment to be productive and constructive. This used to be my favorite podcast, and lately, I've almost been dreading it coming out because I have found the last few weeks/months so tiring to listen to. I think Dan hit the nail on the head when he said that long, drawn out politic talk and beating dead horses about nothing for 45 minutes really bogs down the podcast. I really miss the light-hearted and quick witted convos about topical internet gems. I really hope they can find their rhythm again because I love these guys, and I want to keep supporting them and see them succeed!

I come back and try and listen every now and then and it's really sad that Ethan hasn't figured it out yet. He can be a good person sometimes but most of the time he is either sucking off someone with more clout than him or bullying someone with less influence. The H3 vids used to be so good and fun, and now there's just this easy-money podcast that's just whining and heaviness and "we live in a society"-ing. It's fucking depressing.

I love how Hila and Ethan are just so aware of each other. Their desire to respect one another is.. well, respectable. Ethan realizes that he may have unintentionally framed an untrue reality of his wife as a business owner, so he quickly comes to her defense because he knows her as a person and respects her value and viewpoint and the same goes for Hila when considering Ethan. Their consideration is such an apparent two-way street, and I love that so much for them.
My favourite thing about this podcast is hearing Dan laughing out loud off-mic, but so loud that it still pics up in someone else’s mic. So good! Also, I didn’t hate the previous podcast. But it has been getting old is all

As a paramedic I can confirm the guy’s reaction to Narcan (Naloxone). If people that are OD’d get the full dose, they will wake up and either fight or puke, sometimes they do both. They’ll always be pissed for “ruining” their high and they dgaf about their life being “saved”. To answer Ethan’s question about whether Narcan would work for a weed high, no it won’t. Narcan is an opioid antagonist which competitively binds to the receptor sites for opioid narcotics (i.e. heroin). This also means that it only works for those types of drugs. More importantly to know, if someone is “saved” by Narcan, they only have about 10-15 minutes before it’ll wear off, so call 911 or get them to an emergency room asap. DO NOT PUT ANY LIQUIDS IN THEIR MOUTH, they could inhale them and die. And if you give Narcan as a lay person, stand off to the side, if you don’t like getting puked on 😉

In regards to dans comment about the dude who overdosed: paramedic here, and i can 100% confirm that dudes who overdose usually get super pissed when they are resuscitated, so that guys reaction is not uncommon! They usually get super mad and violent at whoever helps them
This is 100 percent true. I overdosed this year a few months ago and when I was brought back I woke up angry for no reason. I did not purposely overdose either, it was accidental. But when I woke up I was surrounded by fire fighters and ambulances and I instantly got mad or angry for no reason and I have no idea still why..

That is true, sadly. They are so high and ”zoned/zen'd out” that they rather die and stay feeling that ”high” than be resuscitated. Which is really sad, imo.
