This is definitely a good sign for 3rd party support on the Nintendo Switch 2 👀

I wish that Nintendo would let Monolith Soft help out with Pokemon like they did with Legend of Zelda. Imagine how good that Pokemon game would be.
Nintendo doesn’t own Pokémon per se…. They only own 33%. So I doubt they have a choice on the matter.
@@thesuperjag I mean, it’s owned by Nintendo, Gamefreak and Creatures Inc. Creatures Inc. only handles the card game, afaik. I’m sure they could be convinced by Nintendo to also say that Gamefreak needs Monolith Soft to help. It would only help the brand.
My questions is; what game will have a Skyrim moment like on the original Switch reveal trailer?
My guess is either Elden Ring or Baldur's Gate 3; that game that you're surprised to see running on a tablet-sized device
COD maybe
rdr2, or probablh all of them lol
Elden Ring is definitely my prediction for that "wow" 3rd party game in the Switch 2 reveal trailer
Cyberpunk 2077
Crono trigger remake exclusive to switch
I like the non acquisition and instead entangle with each other way much more. Businesses buying businesses is destroying everything.
If you look at the work that has been done on Hogwarts Legacy's port for the nintendo Switch, the optimization and how it runs on such a weak system shows impressive mastery of knowledge of the hardware limitations. They probably know the potential better then anyone else.
I agree. They did a really good job for the limitations of the Switch. It actually runs very smoothly, I don't think I've ever experienced lag on that game, and the load screens aren't too long either. Of course it looks different than the pc version, especially the map, but its good for what it is. I think what people fail to understand is some people out there like myself, do not have a pc where you can play any game imaginable and play what you want when you want. Some people just prefer consoles, so I appreciate all the effort going towards this.
I hope that there's less cloud version of games from a result of this acquisition
Monolith Soft was their last dev studio acquisition, no?
(it was exactly 9000 days ago, by the way)
Been watching your videos for years! Always appreciate your coverage and your insight! I definitely think this could be a pivotal move for Nintendo and I think it will have a positive impact on not just 3rd party games but also 1st party games!
Thank you so much for the support!
Nintendo usually only gets someone if they feel they can greatly benefit from it so I expect this investment to pay off
Okay this is Awesome! Nintendo acquiring Shiver Entertainment is gonna be a big game change for Third Party Game Ports. This is gonna be awesome. It seems like they want to put effort into the ports on Switch 2. That's gonna be awesome.
Pretty cool yeah and another note for the upcoming Nintendo sequel intense switch to that I might get possibly next year either for my birthday or Christmas as I gotta let my mother know everything about it because she knows already has what I got for my last birthday back in 2018 and now I have to wait a while because it could be pretty pricey like I wouldn’t be surprised if it costed like 4005500 dollar USD as that is a lot of money even for the mid 2020s so yeah I’m gonna have to save up a lot for the family just to even get this so that way I can transfer it, once the console officially launches to the public.
What are you 12? Geez...
Comparable to the ps4 if its lucky.

Hate to correct you, but it was "released" not "unleashed".
Anyone who knows Xenoblade Chronicles would misread the comment as "released" regardless.
I think this is bad news, honestly. It gives me the impression Nintendo might be planning for the switch 2 to compete by hosting third party games as opposed to exclusives, which is what's kept them interesting so far.
No
😂😂😂
Where did you get that idea from?
Why not both?
@@TonyJenn My concerns over the state of the gaming industry. The switch has some banger exclusives, but not that many. I have a hard time picturing Nintendo being able to produce many more in time for a Switch 2.
Awesome
guys guys... marvel's spider man on switch is getting really real
I'm sorry to break it to you but Sony would never.

They should buy Panic Button
they would but panic button wasn't being bought out, I suspect when panic button would want to be acquired Nintendo would benefit
Not to be confused with, No Panic Button... Who's an unhinged blacksmith and home steader.
They were in the biggest battle, and yet they been losing big time recently!
Well now they winning
