Hi Michelle, it turned out fantastic!! I like how the powders mixed in the flowers. Thanks for sharing this product. Regards from Spain.
Wow I love the look you get from these mica powders. So vibrant x
Very pretty! I like the way the different colors came through , plus the many ways to adhere the powder. I’m in the United States.
Such a fun video - I didn't know Arteza had mica powders and appreciated your showing us all the different products to use them with as binders. Your card turned out just lovely! Lois from the United States.
Lovely card! Those powders look SOOO PRETTY!
Gorgeous card Michelle. Would love the opportunity to win these brilliant little pots of gorgeousness. X X
What a great video! Now I know what to do with my mica set, so many options! Thank you!
I use mica powder to turn my watercolours into metallic colours!
Means you can use your favourite watercolours without having to purchase separate metallic paints. You also don’t need to mess around with gum Arabic as there are already binders in them.
That is a great idea, Linda! Thank you so much for sharing!
That was a very thorough tutorial and very helpful in the many ways you can use the mica powders. I've mostly only seen adding water to it and spritzing it on card stock. Thanks for the excellent information. I'm in the US.
This is a very pretty card, I was waiting to see which binder you would use. I have see a couple of trials with this product and the complaints that it rubbed off, I committed that a binder would be needed. Thank you for such an informative tutorial.
What an amazing product! I can hardly wait to give it a try.
Really appreciate the comparison of ways to add mica powder to projects. Card is lovely. I'm in the United States. Thanks
Lovely colors. Thanks For all the examples of binders. Soooooo very helpful. (USA)

@Sonny Ronin thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Sonny Ronin It worked and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thanks so much, you really help me out !
@Felix Joseph You are welcome xD
I have had these powders for a while but struggled with getting the powders to adhere, I have a bottle of gum Arabic in my stash so thank you for that tip. I can now play with these beautiful powders and know they will remain on the cardstock. Hugs. X
Really glad that my video may have helped you. Please try the gum Arabic and see if it works for you too. I hope so! Thank you so much for watching! xx
Wow these are amazing. From the U.S.
This is sooo cool! I'm in the United States
Wow. I normally don't immediately gravitate towards new techniques where I'm like "I NEED THAT", but I NEED THAT XD. I'm in the US
Amazing set of mix as. I like using them but really should use them more.
I created my own mica spray with pearl mica and isopropyl alcohol. It dries super quick.
*micas even!! 😂
UK....oops, spotted that after I'd commented.
Love to win all arteza products. From usa
Very awesome channel!! Beautiful cards :-) Montana, U.S.A.
I love your videos and would love to win a set! Watching from the US.
What a fun card.
I'm watching from England
Love your videos. I had an idea while watching your video, I was wondering how they would work if you added them to a clear embossing powder?
Thank you so much, Angela. I didn't think of that whilst making the video but yes, I think they would. Great idea! Thank you for sharing and thank you for watching.
It, is Wonderful
Oh my gosh, I looooove those. I would love to have them. I really hope to win these, obviously fairly. But I hope to God to win these, I've never won Giveaways before. Hope to win this time. I'll share these on my insta page too.
What a beautiful new way- for me anyway- to decorate cards. United States
I would love a chance to win! I am in Norfolk in the UK.
United States. Beautiful card!
I wonder if an actual stencil brush would work better for applying versamark or glue pad.
USA Maryland heights, MO
Ooh, sorry, I forgot to add, I'm in the UK xx
Hello! USA here. I just discovered mica and was looking for a way to add it to black poster board. Thank you!
If you sprits some water over the the mica powder after the adhesive has dried and let that dry it will seal the mica powder into the paper without using any chemical sealant
Which adhesive are you using? If you are using adhesive, surely you don’t need the water spritz? Using water spritz alone does not hold these mica powders, sadly. Thank you so much for watching and for your comment.
@@MichelleShortTheCardGrotto I meant that if you were to paint the mica powder onto paper with gum arabic for instance and there was still some residue of Mica powder coming of on your fingers (as you described in this video) by lightly spritsing the mica powder with water and leaving the paper on a flat surface to dry, it seals the mica in. Meaning that no residue lifts off on your fingers afterwards.
@@evamooney2953 thanks for your clarification, Eva. I understand now. If using Gum Arabic, the mica doesn’t come off, thankfully so no need for a sealant but with some of the other methods you would, so I’ll give them a try with the water spritzing too. Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment and for helping.
@@MichelleShortTheCardGrotto no worries Michelle, happy Crafting! 👍
@@evamooney2953 I just wanted to apologise again as I think my initial message came across wrong. I was just questioning it because this mica powder behaves very differently than most I have tried before. If you have had success with water spritzing along with some sort of binder then that’s great and I’ll definitely give it a go. Thankfully when using most binders I show in the video, it doesn’t come off. Thank you again for taking the time to comment, Eva. It’s most appreciated! Have a wonderful rest of the weekend! :)
Love love the mica powder. From the USA
I’m sorry I don’t see the link to like Azteca Mica powder
If scroll down below the video and click on show more then the links will show up. If you are on mobile, you need to click the arrow next tot he video title. I hope that helps. Thank you so much for watching!
If you add 1 part gum arabic it works as a binder
Wouldn't it be much cleaner and easier if you left the stencil on and then applied mica? You wouldn't then have to worry about the areas the glue got under the stencil cuz mica wouldn't be applied to those areas.
Hi there, it’s a good suggestion but I’m not sure if the mica powder would go right to the edges inside the stencil openings. The stencil would get covered with the mica but that could be easily cleaned. I’ll try it out next time, thank you for the suggestion and thanks for watching!
Beautiful card. Any ideas where to get that mini guillotine, please? I'm in the UK. Thank you 🌈
Thank you so much, I got mine from Amazon here - amzn.to/2zLjSzk apologies for forgetting to add it to the list. It is a great mini guillotine. Thank you so much for watching :)
@@MichelleShortTheCardGrotto thank you, Michelle! That's great. A lovely neat size. No worries at all 😉🌈
Where did you get the stamping folder.?
Just trying Mica powder. Your video is great but I don’t have the essential glue is there any other glue that can be used
Hi there, I mention multiple ways to adhere the mica powder at the start of the video. Hopefully one of them will work for you. Thanks so much for watching.
What glue do you use and how?
Hi. I was wondering if you have announced the VERY LUCKY WINNER yet? Still crossing my fingers :)
Sharon Gullikson yes, I announced it on my community page here on CZcams yesterday. I’m so sorry that you didn’t win but I hope to do another giveaway soon. Thank you!
