    These are just gorgeous ! However, I didn’t realize that the mica would stay on the card , even over the versa unless it spritzed with some type of finishing spray or adhesive …

    That was amazing. I've been using mica in resin art, but never in card making. I've used versa mark forever in card making, but never blotted it. I also loved that stamp. You have a great teaching voice. Thanks.

    lovely - wow - can you please explain what you mean by removing the indexing off the stamp - as it pertains to versa mark? many thanks!!!

    • @Claritystamp
      @Claritystamp  Před 6 lety +4

      Hi R F, the indexing is the blue colour that appears on all our stamps. This basically there so that you can readily see what stamp you are using when they are on either our Clarity Mounts or our Mega Mounts. The versamark, naturally being a sticky medium, pulls the blue colour off the stamp; making your versamark pad blue.
      Having blue indexing on your versamark pad won't affect your pad but if you don't want a blue pad simply use a baby wipe or alcohol blending solution (which we have on our website) to remove it.
      Hope this helps. Feel free to post other crafting questions and we'll do our best to answer what we can.

    You wiped off with a tissue at the end. Is that to polish it to make it shimmer more. Also I’ve had a problem getting the mica to stay put It seems to rub off on me. What am I doing wrong?

    • @Claritystamp
      @Claritystamp  Před 6 lety +1

      Hi Roslyn
      Barb uses the tissue to wipe off any excess around the design.
      The mica powder might be coming off because it's either not stuck to the versamark properly or there isnt enough versamark to stick to. Make sure you load the stamp up, work fast to put the mica on the card then let the mica stick to the versamark.
      Hopefully this helps.
