this seemed like a dull out-of-date instructional vid at first, but it is really highly informative.
    Keep on running!

Thank you for this. I have been inspired by this video. Considering that I don't usually enjoy running (and have taken up running in the forest because I find road running mindnumbing and hard on the knees) my comment says a lot about the video. I intentionally used some of the tips and say an immediate difference in my enjoyment and efficiency. Thanks again!

honestly, this video is GREAT. the detail in the information offered is on point and key to successful trail running. the repetitive videos of a man sprinting through the forest are completely overwhelming and offsetting. maybe he's a pro runner? maybe he doesn't run long distances? most trail runners will NOT look like him ROMPING through the woods. he has fantastic form and is a monster with body placement and foot work. but if this video is meant to help people learn how to take on the trails, the information in the narrative helps however the illustrations are misleading. (edit: i apologize, no intention to speak down on or negatively to the film or the people in it... just an opinionated thought on how others may view this. if i were just learning to trail run and assumed i should look like him galavanting the way he does in these clips, i'd be lost. sort of like being a freshman year, track runner watching a video of steve perforatione as a lesson on how to win races.)

+michael moriarty i agree on everything, except that if you already are an experienced road runner, this video is easy to comprehend and almost just as easy to implement practically.

+axlrosea675 Hmm. This may be true for some, but I know many a road runner that can not make the adjustment to the trails. Not sure if they just don't want to learn or if they cant adjust to the train. I've had to pick up and in one case carry out road runners that could not adjust.

interesting. if you ease into not-so-hard-trails, shouldn't it be possible for any runner to run trails?

Next video project will feature runners of all levels abilities and distance/paces with clear progressions. We made a decision to shoot at at 10k pace for an elite trail runner.

I'm a total road runner, I like the trails, just not convenient where I live. All the ultras I've run of course are on trails. Can you imagine total road training to trail ultras. Yeah, I constantly eat it, LOL. I'm one of the few that actually watch and learn from these videos :-)

I trail run to improve my horseback riding because it builds core and wind, and improves my reaction time and proprioception. I love it. I've tried road running and find it kind of stressful.
