The normal road pace for the runner in question is 31min 10k. Trail 33min/10k. 1:08 half 1:15 trail 21k. Next video will show a variety of paces and progression.

Did you use a gimbal to film this?
This video was done almost 15 years ago using a steadicam. We now use better cameras, gimbal and steadicams.

Such a wonderful video! And thanks for the old films of OSC skiing in the old days. I grew up XC skiing/racing at Camp Fortune (as did my father). Nothing better in the whole world than XC skiing up the Gatineau

The footage was shot on a DJI X5R on a OSMO 3D Brushless Gimbal and Steadicam operator. Filmed in 4kRAW (2.4Gbps) but significantly reduced and compressed to H.264 720p (5Mbps) to fit on CZcams.

after about 6-7 mins in the video sounds like you were getting a little winded there but you did a AWESOME job keeping up, I would have had to stop I take you work out too is how you kept up so well huh? I was getting winded just watching him ha ha ha

Ottawa is the Capital of Canada in the Province of Ontario. Much of what is filmed was done in the Gatineau Park, near chelsea, Quebec. A few kilometres north of Ottawa.
