I've been in this period of refreshing/ readjusting my craft for months and at first I was really hard on myself for being in this "figuring out" space. I think when I first started my practice everything felt so fresh and dynamic with Chariot-like momentum, and in comparison, this current period I'm in felt stagnant. But I've really been aiming to "relax into the craft," and reminding myself that this is part of the process, and it's what I'm here for. Thanks again!

We humans are dynamic. We fall, we stand up and we move onward. I am 41, I have been a practitioner for over 20 years now. I have no label on myself. My practice is private and will only be shared to a select few. Yet...now at 41 do I feel I can relax into my craft. My practice runs in the background, it's part of my every day routine, it's like breathing. I have to say that you are my favourite practitioner to follow...a lot of other CZcamsrs out there talk about the craft in ways I don't even understand and am sure they will move onto something else this time next year. Hello Anna! I totally agree with you. The sad thing is that we learn and relax as we age. So many people have wasted most of their lives doing the proper thing finding themselves later unhappy. As you said we in the West world are starting from a very different point and takes a lot of time to connect with what is really important. We are a part of this world not the leaders of it (forgive me but English is not my birth language) and most of us do not realize that until it's too late sometimes. If we could see it in our early years the world would be a very different place. Thank you for the Dynamic talk, we should do more!!! ❤❤
You worded it really well, and you are so right. We live in the actual world; keep it going. The leaders mostly seem to want to control etc. "Proper" is not a word I ever use, so hopefully that means I'm focusing on the things that matter. Thank you so much for your comment
I really enjoy this discussion. I've come from a very rule-based, debate-heavy religious background where every belief had to had to be backed up with "proof" that aligned with religious texts. It was exhausting and left no room for true connection in spirituality, at least for me. And I have found that when one swings to the extreme secular side of things, there is a similar pressure to quantify. In therapy over the years I have learned a bit more about parts-work, and how they can be useful when we do not over identify with them, but prisons when we do. And often it is trauma that locks those masks onto our face - for example the very useful analytical/skeptics mask can be used to protect us from making "mistakes" that would make us feel unloved or unaccepted. The generous "mediator" mask can become a prison when we lock into it as our entire identity, feeling responsible for the emotions of everyone around us. A lot of these things keep us safe, but they are made to be...taken on and off, not glued to our face. 😄 Same with belief, I think. A more dynamic way of looking at identity and spirituality. At least for me.
This was such an interesting and thoughtful conversation. My belief system has always been a dynamic one, with an ever evolving or maybe it's isolating what it is I actually believe in a spiritual and magical sense. Something I choose to say to myself recently is "I choose to believe......" That phrase for me helps me let go of the skeptical parts of my brain. I'm kinda but not really starting the path of a witch, doing a lot of research and occasionally trying out some spells. I kinda get that trying out something and then seeing how you feel about it because sometimes some things just don't kinda make sense but they do and you just have to wing it. So, I think I have a pretty wierd dynamic with my practice, hopefully it will get better, but like I said, I am, for the most part, just starting out with my practice.

Archieving a goal is certainly like a prison, the prison of my own 'polished' process or neuronal connexions. Why will I use another way once the path is strong ? Thankfully, time is there. And forgetting is like dying in a way. Then you can be free again from the prison. The story and dynamic of phoenix maybe. Reframing consciously can renew the path too I guess.
Anna, you have a very DYNAMIC approach to self-development! Many of your thoughts resonated very strongly with my current attitude to life, to esoteric knowledge, to occult practices. Sometimes I have regrets that the path of spiritual awakening did not happen at least a few years ago. But then I just try to relax and tell myself: Trust the process! Everything has its time!

Part way through & pausing to say: yes, it makes total sense (to me anyway). And a key part of this process for me has been (and continues to be) that my framework now includes 'intuition' and 'gut feeling', as well as figuring out how to define them. They were not previously something I was allowed to think existed, but I have *decided* they do... and I decide what they mean for myself! 💜

I‘m 38 and you so very eloquently put into words how I feel about my current practice, which I try to keep up in a way that serves me. Which makes it very DYNAMIC. Also, you basically answered everything I need to know about why the ten of wands keeps showing up for me. I assumed it’s because a) my rising sign is Sagittarius b) I‘m a working mum of two young children and always have my hands full. Not just that, but sometimes I feel literally trapped by this very stable, secure, often hectic life I so desperately wanted when I was younger. I still wouldn’t trade my family for anything in the world and am endlessly grateful. But yes, your biggest wish also traps you.
Yesterday being part of a discussion about what would it mean if we truly mastered what we wanted, then what, what's left? So the 10 of wands analogy made perfect sense, perhaps I want to continue exploring without ever being an expert. This video gave me the dynamics to acknowledge that relaxing into the path I walk is exactly where I want to go. i'm a "fanatical pantheist" and cannot personify deity. i've wanted to and there are a couple of myths i align with. i have been a pantheist for, probably, longer than you've been alive. i don't know if it's freeing or stifling. it just is. my "witchy practice" just, is. will that change? probably. as of today, my belief has not been shaken. as of today, my practice feels right.

I wish animal cruelty would end, of course. But honestly I don't believe in that people should stop listening to their bodies and suffer themselves for the sake of the suffering of other beings, if that makes sense.
