That's a Deluxe box. Awesome job! I loved watching you make it. Your discussion of tone really hit home. It made me think of every time someone has told me I told them what they needed to hear.
This was a deluxe experience getting to watch you create this box, now I want to try! As a guitarist I love this analogy, I once had someone write me asking about all of my gear because they loved the tone I had on a particular record. I was flattered and told them everything and they went out and bought all the same things. They were not able to make it sound the same, I even gave them my settings but in the end I told them that everyone's tone is in their fingers, and I cannot give you my fingers... Thank you Anna, I always walk away from your videos with many things to contemplate and a desire to play
Wow that is such a good anecdote. Any of your stuff on youtube by the way? Your tone is your extention, it’s great and it thrives because it’s personal. Beautiful 🖤
Trionfi Della Luna Paradoxical Purple with a *deluxe* tuck box! 💜Solid advice. It's not *what* you say but _how_ you say it. Reading the energy of the room. And, in the medical field we call it "leaving the white coat at the door." 👏👍🫀
@@AstralLadyTarot This idea came to me as I was listening to the video, but especially at about the 9:40 mark. Being receptive and honest (to yourself, to your craft and to the person or people you are serving). And, obviously, as you stated, the person cannot choose the news they are about to receive in their reading (or about their health in my medical field example) BUT the delivery of the news can be woven in a specific way (adding your own flavour, as you shared). 11:09 and 14:02 As you said, how would *you* want to receive this message and what do you want to learn from it? Delivering these types of messages takes practice (again, as you have stated in the video). :) Delivering scary or upsetting medical news can also be delivered in a way, as you described in this video, where you take the time to explain what's happening . . . hence "taking your coat off at the door". Don't rush it, just take your time and explain and meet the person where they are at (energetically, emotionally, etc). When giving a tarot card reading, the querent may experience fear or anxiety because they aren't sure what news or information is about to come out of the reading. If you've heard of "white coat syndrome" this can also be true for patients as they wait for the doctor, nurse, pharmacist (etc.) to provide them with the news or information about their health or health of a loved one. Both scenarios are dealing with people (querent/patient) that are showing up in a very vulnerable manner. And so, "leaving the white coat at the door" is another way of saying read the energy of the room and really sit down and take time to *listen* to your patient in order to provide compassionate and quality care. I feel providing a tarot reading can be carried out in the same gentle and compassionate way. 💌 I'm tired and that was a long reply! LOL I hope that all made sense?! 🤔🙃
@@RootsAndWaves It DID make sense and I am so glad you explained it to me! I love how you articulated all of this. Thank you for taking the time to explain it, it's so good to keep these things in mind
That is indeed a deluxe tuck box! I agree that tone is everything. It's a good start to communicate less joyful messages to the querent in the manner we would want to receive these types of messages. With a lot of practice, we can acquire the skill to communicate it to them in the manner in which they are able to receive the message. Meaning, where they are at. I love that you mentioned not to "over- dramatize". 👌🤗🖤
Hey Anna! I am talking from experience here! When you did my in-person tarot reading, you embodied a truly heart felt sincere & deluxe tone! It was a beautiful experience! Thank U 🖤✨
This is so helpful. I’m new to reading, and I’ve really struggled reading for others. But I think that is helpful to think of using the same tone I use in my own readings, with respect and practice.
I'm definitely the kinds of person who thinks there's an energy exchange with the people we're connecting with. I feel like some people are more aware than others how to read that energy, find the balance of what needs to be said and how to deliver it. I guess that's emotional intelligence and social tact. Deluxe
Of course your box turned out a delux fashion statement for your deck. Such an interesting video-setting a tone for a reading. As I only read for myself, family and friends I never really thought about it. So is tone set for the benefit of the reader, querent, both, for the cards? All of the above, as I answer my own question. :) So how is the tone set? How do you keep the tone consistent between readings? Especially when the querents, the cards can show up in such vastly differing ways. Do you do a "reset" between readings? These are questions I am asking myself as I think (and journal) about your video!
Perfect😍 I think the tone is set by years of building a strong connection with Tarot, where it’s a skill that is mastered... you “know your stuff”, nobody can mess with it- kind of confidence built. (While remaining humble...😅) I reset just by clearing the brain, breath, new focus on the next client and/or question, shuffling.
Hi Anna, such questions! 🤔 All around, a near-perfect production, I liked when you said to talk about the scary cards right away to create the relaxation 😇 Now brass tacks: what did you use for the deluxe lining of the box? And what type of paint is best? Trionfi della luna paradocical is a wonderful deck, I have the copper only.
You flatter me! I really used what I had at hand: card board, black craft paper, paper glue and mod podge, black (acrylic?) paint. I’m glad you liked the video and got some value out of it 🖤
@@AstralLadyTarot it’s amazing as I was thinking since last week about making my own box for my deviant moon tarot , I have watched few videos but I felt discourage with all measurements I need to do and here is your video 😅 I watched your other 2 DIY videos - I feel encouraged again😅

As always… you and your video are so dang classy… from your very sexayyy voice 😉 , the thought provoking commentary, all the way down to the majestic purple box…what a deluxe viewing experience - complete with popcorn and red carpet! 🌟 TRULY, deluxe entertainment (I dare say) 💁♀️♥️

Absolutely! I tap into those skills when doing readings, otherwise I notice I can be quite clumbsy or blunt. Might be my Dutch side showing though;)
