Enjoyed this a lot, thank you! I have to say, hearing your response to the final question was a delight ... best overall deck is one you love and that reflects you. So, yes, while I have a lot of decks in many different styles and systems, to the final question I have to go with my beloved Shimmering Veil Tarot. Blessings!

oh now i know what the imagery of the crows magick tarot reminds me of: magic eye. remember those books with that computer art compositions you could do a deep dive in and suddenly saw 3D art coming out of it? was a huge thing in the late 90's. it was kinda otherworldly and i loved it!
I’ll look up what that is, see if we had it! Perhaps it’ll unlock a core memory ;)
It was so fun to hear your answers and get to see the decks you chose for these prompts! I completely agree that the hardest deck to learn is the one you don’t like, and the easiest is the one you love, or that one that just “clicks” for you 🖤

Interesting to see all the decks and another opinion on it, thank you :) I work with the Thoth deck always, spoke to me on a different level; with RWS I didn't vibe at all, although I tried for years! I'll check out the Moongarden one, I love the artwork 🌟 By any chance, is the friend's brother you talk about S. from T.D.B.? (I abbreviated for privacy reasons) - If yes, what are the odds 😂
Edit adding: the Thoth is gorgeous and gives so much. I’m falling in love with it again after a bit of a hiatus from it. Thanks for abbreviating, the answer is yes 🙏

Hi Anna, wow, we are so lucky to have you. In just seeing you go through your decks and speaking it’s easy to see how you view things so openly and acceptant which is a rare trait. Always love when you have a new video released as I jump to it immediately. The Crow’s Magic Tarot, which I wish was still available, in some odd way reminds me of the Tantric Dakini because it’s just so out there which I love. I think there’s a lot to get out of the Tantric Dakini that many people miss, which is understandable. My goal is to get stronger at using it and have it comfortably be my tarot/oracle/whatever deck. I love the idea of Tantric Dakini oracle as a main deck. It's gorgeous, deep and funny all at the same time which makes it whole. Thank you for this comment
That Ritual Tarot with the collages looks amazing to me. I love abstract, artistic, very detailed decks and the colour pallet is right up my alley in terms of aesthetics. As is The Crow Magic Tarot which I need to check out in greater detail, I'm all about Crows.
Both of those are in my top 5 for sure. Love working with those and yes they look really good ;)
Sooo right. Mary El is definitely one I rarely use, mostly because the guidebook isn't quick or straightforward. But my even bigger challenge deck is carnival at the end of the world, so perhaps my most difficult/Misunderstood/challenging to read.
I know of that deck but never looked into it. Do you like working with Carnival? Or is it too difficult?
@@AstralLadyTarot it just fell a little into the flat/disconnected category. The images are fabulously weird, but I couldn't connect them into a reading.
@@AntoinetteTarot Ah I can see that! There should be (perhaps there is) a novel attached to the deck to explain who the characters are and what drives them

I've heard the Thoth accelerates carma. It would make sense that it would cause bigger reactions, specially when first using it.
