I had to stop and make sure I was watching the right video ….. unreal what you have to do to get to the carrier bearing
They certainly don't make it easy to work on these sometimes!
Must be nice to work on brand new machine lol
what about phase marks?
Holy crap, just getting to it sounds like a lot of work. Is it the same for a 2019xp4t?
Apparently they dont care to reply or put up a video for a 4 seater. The prop shaft is oposite to the 2 seater. Its really annoying cause I'm working on a 4 seater now and dont know how to put the bearing on because they are too god damn stupid to put printed instructions with their Shit. Dont know if I'm gonna be buying anything super atv in the future cause this is bull shit
you get what you pay for. There’s a reason their stuff is much cheaper than others.
How is it on the xp pro 4
How come you put the bearing on the opposite way you said to put it on.
Seriously. And if you look at their other video for the same install it shows the bearing facing the opposite direction…
You should make sure u mention which direction the bevel on the bearing goes before someone puts it in backwards and waits 24hrs and then has to take it all apart and find more compound and redo it... telling for a friend... I deff didn't just do it backwards...
Does this get rid of the bolts in a jar sound when doing like 30 mph plus
Dam mi e makes that sound like it's coming apart.. Wana upgrade that bearing carrier until I saw this video...bro thats a ton of work
So you don't put back your shield?????,🤔🤔🤔🤔
2019 polaris rzr xp 1000 was not that much work to install one of these
So I have a 1k xp4 and have the SATV at the back. Is it going to make a difference?
For the XP 1000, the carrier will face the opposite direction shown on the XP Turbo.
@@SuperATVMediawell if you listen to this guy says super atv to the rear, Tyler does the rzr xp and says the same, have it towards the rear.
I got my bearing in the beveled slot facing the rear.
Correct, this video is for the Turbo. The 1k goes the opposite direction. Another indication for installation is the "long ear" on the carrier. For the turbo, it goes to the passenger side. For the 1k, it goes to the drivers side.
@@SuperATVMediak but your 2 videos both say put it to the ATV towards the back is what I’m getting at, Both turbo and none turbo.
I have had it installed the grove is facing back. So your saying I got to pull drive line/bearing flip it all around now?
What about the driveshaft shield, it doesn’t look like you reinstalled it
It does not reinstall on all models. Give us a call with your machine info so we can verify.
Did you just install the bearing the opposite way?
The Turbo bearing will install the opposite direction compared to the RZR 1k.
You really do Not have to do all this to install the bearing. This is WAY overkill.
What’s your way cuz I need to know lol
@@conlanbartley1636 do it from the bottom. Remove the skid plate. Take your time and you can work it out and back in.
@@conlanbartley1636 remove the bolts from the rear shaft held to the yoke, remove/knock out the spread pin in the front shaft. Remove the carrier bearing shield, work it out of position to remove. ,Unbolt the factory carrier bearing Pull the rear shaft back as far as you can. Have some hold it. Then pull the front shaft as far forward as possible. The two shafts will separate and you can work the out from under the machine from there.
I literally just removed the center console and was able to do it this is way over kill
How to charge 16 shop hours when it only takes 6
You are doing way way too much work to put a carrier bearing in. You can do all of this by just removing the center console. I feel like whoever decided this was the “way to do it” had way too much time on their hands
Or on meth
80% of this is overkill and not needed to change out bearing carrier..
There are a few way to get the job done. In this video, we only show one of those ways. Thanks for watching!
He's tearing the entire bike apart for nothing!
I thought I was watching the wrong video when he started tearing the whole rzr apart
