Would this process be the same for 2012 Polaris ranger 800 crew?
It is fairly similar, but it would be best to refer to your owner's manual for specific details for your machine.
What are the symptoms for needing to change out the carrier bearing? My ranger vibrates in the first 0- 10 mph accelerating and decelerating.
thanks
Typically a bad carrier will vibrate at higher RPMs and speeds, not lower. You may check your driveline, connections and carrier, but it could be a variety of things causing the issue.
when mine started to go out at first i thought there was a rock in the brake, it was just squeaking. then it started to vibrate the whole front end at higher speeds i finally had to stop about half a mile from the shop and towed it home believe me ull know instantly somethings wrong
How much should this repair cost at a shop? How many man hours does this job take to complete?
Would a bad carrier bearing make the drive shaft look bent when spinning?
I have a bad shake at about 30-40 mph
