  • On this episode of Extreme UTV Tech we are going to show you how to solve your Polaris RZR Drive Shaft issues once and for all. If you have a rzr 1000 or Turbo then you have most likely experienced rzr drive shaft noise, vibration, and even total failure. Well our friends over at RCV performance products have a solution that totally eliminates the carrier bearing and with it the vibrations. They call it the RCV one piece Prop Shaft and it is tough. I have been beating the crap out of my Stage 3 RZR buggy on 32s all season long with zero issues. They have never had one break either. So when it came time to get our endurance RZR upgraded RCV once again got the call. The first step is removal of the factory two piece design and carrier bearing. We even have a tip on a better roll pin. The unit we installed retails for $999 and you can order one here- bustedknuckleoffroad.com/RCV-P...

    On the rear flange does it just slide on or do you reinstall the factory flange retaining nut? Also what did you guys use for the 12 point bolts on that thing? Mine came with a shorty socket but its way to thick. I can run the bolts about halfway down before the socket pops off the bolts and I'm having a hard time finding anything short enough that'll fit in there.

    • @BustedKnuckleVideo
      @BustedKnuckleVideo  Před 6 lety +1

      Should be able to find a 1/4" socket to fit. we just slid the flang onto the output without using the flange retaining nut.

      Not trying to be a jerk. As previously stated, it's a nice looking piece, and from what I've seen and read, they'll likely last the life of the machine. I'm simply stating that they're expensive. More for the racer than for the average SxS owner.
