A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ CZcams. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of CZcams I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on CZcams won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This CZcams channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

@Bad Boys Boogie I can relate to that as my Mom passed away from cancer at the young age of 49. It took me some time to hear Elvis again.... especially his Christmas albums which are still difficult. My sister and I went to Graceland several years ago in honor of my mom who never made it over there. My sister and I choked up often during the tour knowing how my mother would have enjoyed and been moved by being there. Amazing the effect Elvis had on so many.

My family moved to Vegas in 1967 and this video was done at the international hotel where my mom worked at the time, and when she caught a minute she would go stand in the back of the showroom and watch him perform. Everytime he would show up to do his month long gig they would bring in crates full of all kinds of his records and give them to the hotel employees ,my mom wound up with several of course and they are all mine now.

Welsh singer Tom Jones was a close friend of Elvis & he actually incorporated this into some of his concerts. They met when Elvis was shooting Viva Las Vegas & Tom was doing a concert in Vegas. Remained the best of friends right up until Elvis’ death in 1977. Tom even joined Elvis for a vacation in Hawaii on one occasion. Like Elvis, Tom had a lot of sex appeal to the ladies. He saw Elvis doing it & he must have thought it was a great idea. Tom had a lot of international success & had a great voice, but no-one can beat Elvis.

Elvis pretty much did his own thing and that's what everyone loved about him....And that's why he changed music back in the 1950s , and became the legend that he was THEN , and still is TODAY! When you lead instead of follow, that's when you truly do have the chance to be somebody very important. Elvis certainly was THAT! He IS and ALWAYS WILL BE the king of rock and roll.

He was so funny, a walking security nightmare, imagine trying to keep him safe! There is not one other person I ever heard of who gave so much of himself and his time to and for his fans. The men were lining up to shake his hand too

The drummer is Ronnie Tutt, who recently passed away. He was new in the band in August 1970 and obviously was in awe, did not see this coming as this was only the fourth performance of Elvis' 1970 Summer season in Vegas (after the opening show on August 10 and 2 performances on August 11). His crowd walk during the August 12 dinner show was spontanious like he often improvised to interact with his fans.
Want to see more about the special relation between Elvis and his fans? Check out Funny How Time Slips Away (live in Greensboro NC, April 14, 1972) and see Elvis take off a 10K diamond ring and throw this into the crowd. Or Can't Help Falling In Love (live in Hampton Roads, April 9 1972) and see him run away, surrounded by bodyguards and with a crowd on his heels, to safely escape an audience that obciously does not want the show to end...

This was just Elvis greeting his fans.
His way of showing some love and giving back.
He didn't have too but his fans sure did appreciate it.
He had such a big heart.
And he showed his love to his fans in greeting them sometimes with free kisses.
What I don't understand is how none of these women fainted.
Cause I sure would have had he kissed me.
    I love Elvis so much.
I've been to His birth place house and on a full tour of Gracelnd and I loved the tour inside his home.
My favorite room was Elvis' jungle room.
    That was a so neat!
But everybody always said when it came to all of Elvis' fans.
All the women wanted him. And all the men wanted to be him.

Elvis had so much charisma… The looks, the moves, the voice, the personality, the charity… He drew women to him like a magnet, he didn’t have to go to them. They lined up and ran to get to him. Back then every man knew what unbelievable attraction women had to him. And I’m sure the choice was given: I’m going to the Elvis concert and you can go if you want to... I’m gonna see Elvis! There will never be or has ever been anyone like him. You have to remember this was 50, 60 & 70 years ago. He was way ahead of his time!

He loved his fans and they loved him. He shook the guys hands, kissed the gals, and received a necklace from someone at the beginning in which he showed them twice he still had it. That was a person that had a lot of love for people. He was not only the king of Rock & Roll, but was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Country Hall of Fame and the Gospel Hall of Fame.

I gotta tell ya, bro, your awesome love your reactions. My 54 yr old soul is glad you been checking out brother Stevie Ray too. Mr. Presley here is what they call the real deal. I think he had some genuine conflicts in his soul that led to destructive behavior. With that many women it's hard not to partake.

I don't believe it was strange at all because Elvis was a phenomenon he was loved since the 1950s and it when he made his 1968 Comeback Special intellivision he proved he still had the television ratings were high high that would give him confidence to go back on the road and start hearing again it from the fifties even sexier than from the 1950s after he then he started touring again all over the country people were glad to see him back because for 8 years he was busy doing movies was finished with the movie contracts he started back up again that Elvis phenomena people never forgot him from the 1950s of how wonderful he was
So he still had that magical charisma impact . sexiest his incredible voice combined with his looks was a true God given gift and he handled it very well and loved his fans right back that was a secret so know that you just touching the surface if you really want to know more about the man it's more than music it's a phenomenon go back and study the early interviews in black and white and King Creole and Jailhouse Rock will really wonderful movies

Great reaction! ❤ This was not normal for artists then. Elvis was terrific with his fans. He did that every performance. He was also known to take all the fans waiting at the gate of his house to a movie or skating or to an amusement park and he would rent the whole establishment.

There's also you can Google Elvis walks through the crowd dot-dot-dot when he gets out of breath he pauses and talk to the audience so Google that and watch the rest I won't spoil it for you LOL

At the beginning in the 50s they were a lot of boyfriends and husbands would get mad but once they had to relinquish the idea they started to like him also but he did have to have bodyguards just because of the jealous boyfriends until he got to know him and loved it and Elvis grew on them and so then they too became 2 appreciate him and idolizing. But I want to say one thing people refer to him as the king because he broke the mold so to speak you will see if you listen to the Google sites why Elvis and there is only one Elvis and Elvis in the black community and they're many but start with those three. He said I am not the king there is only one King in heaven I'm just an Entertainer.

    • @janinefarris7565
      @janinefarris7565 Před 3 lety +1

You get an idea of why he had to have bodyguards if you watch it television series from 1990 called Elvis and that movie actor portrayed him Michael st. Gerard and you can see it on CZcams it's before he became famous and what he did before 1956 that got him prepared for his overnight sensation he was regionally known but not internationally and worldwide until 1956 watch it again it's called Michael st. Gerard playing Elvis

I laughed so hard at your reaction that I’m sure my neighbors heard me. First of all, this isn’t anyone…this is Elvis Presley and he is loved. As the saying goes, “All women wanted to be with him and all men wanted to be him.” He is being totally harmless here…just showing his affection for the fans who made him. He never forgot who lifted him out of poverty and enabled him to have the success he acquired. You also have to remember that this is 1970. John Lennon hasn’t been murdered yet. In this particular performance he spontaneously jumped off the stage and I don’t think his body guards knew he was going to do that. Even so, it only took a moment before they caught up with him to make sure he made it through ok. And also this happened in Las Vegas and not at some big stadium when he was touring.

Elvis always did things that were different to your usual performers. He said I usually makes the rounds, looks like he used to go up on the balcony sometimes. Yes I think Tom Jones would do it one or two maybe. but not go into the audience. He really love all of them regardless of their background or where they were from. He would write out checks for those queueing outside his house. He bought his cook a black lady a car and a house. Not to mention all the other many cars and houses he bought for people. Even total strangers. Supported about 50 charities. Just to mention a few things.
