He is not an "act" like many of the auditions, that voice comes from his soul. We rarely get to see the next generation opera super star. Simon is right - Andrew Loyd Webber WHERE ARE YOU. I can't stop hitting the replay button
His whole persona makes him such a lkeable guy . I hope to hear him sing some well known songs ,like the Impossible Dream, etc.

I can't get over the transformation physically from his audition to how he looked here!
@@chrishatherley3531 absolutely the one thing BGT did for him is give him confidence, he had the best talent in the show. I wish he had chosen a third song instead of singing same one over. I knew when Simon gave that last critique, he had not one. The comedian that one was terrible, but this wasn't an opera crowd. I believe Simon was looking for a true talent with a future, comedians are a dime a dozen.We will see Maxwell in just a year or two launch a fantastic career, I'll be at the head of the line to buy his CD ..

Carol Allison. I totally agree with you. I so wish Maxwell came 1st. What an amazing talent....Listening to the 3 songs that he sang touched my inner soul & brought the hair's on the back of my neck stand up & tears to my eyes.
I have know doubt he's going to smash it out there in the music industry.
Was it necessary to tell the world. Many of us across the pond had zero clue on the results or we were never able to see all the performances.
I have never seen a performance like that on any talent show across the world.....Maxwell you are astounding !!!!!

Every so often some unassuming person comes out of left field, shy, nervous and unassuming with a God given talent. The transformation in confidence from the audition to the semi final was so unbelievable and profound in your delivery. The timbre of your voice, your presentation of the lyric and the choice of song, would relate in appreciation to the wider audience internationally.

Pavarotti had the height and the intensity. Carouso had the intimacy and the charm. Maxwell has both and more. Maxwell's voice encompasses the universe.

This music, composed by Hans zimmer for the film gladiator, sends shiver down my spine every time I hear it. The language used is made up but just the sound of it plus the melody conveys a huge amount of emotion and this version was superb. This guy’s voice is excellent and he really conveyed the emotion. Brilliant . If you love this music as much as I do, watch the version done by the indigo choir. A Capella and choreographed movement. Fabulous!!

The language isn’t made up.
This version is in Italian, cover of Andrea Bocielli’s Nelle Tue Mani. Which I believe is a translation of the lyrics available as “now we are free”. The version by Enya which was Anol Shalom, is thought to be mixture of the languages of Ancient Rome I believe, as there is Greek, Hebrew, Latin and Celtic. But that’s just my understanding.

I thought the whole set looked like the fires of hell and the dark angel wearing black was being celebrated. All a little demonic, rather than a voice sent from God as some have said. Amazing voice non the less. But the stylist must be a goth chick.
