Currently, they are only available through Amazon. Ohuhu said "We are currently building our own shopping website, and will talk to several logistics companies, maybe after that, the next phase, we could talk to more logistic company, and ship to more countries." So who knows! But we'll see.

I've been using my Copics very sparcely because I want to save them for commissions, especially ones that would be mailed out, but I love alcohol markers! So I plan to get this Ohuhu set so I can go nuts using markers like I used to do years ago while still saving my pricey markers for badges and such. :) So excited!
I completely agree with you, if they came out with a pastel-pale set, I'd be buying both sets immediately.
I bought the bigger set about a week ago, and i swatched them, and I can say that they did not add any newer light colors in the 48 set. But, I also really like them, and they are really smooth. Awesome picture, btw!
Honestly, I've never been able to understand how you can colour so well. There are always so many different colours in places you would never expect to see them, yet everything always comes together so nicely. Love your work!

I imagine they created a small affordable set to experiment, have it be accessible to most, see what people think and improve upon before releasing a more expensive fuller set. Later people will know what to expect and be willing to invest in a more costly wider range of brush markers while the sales from these fund the creation of more colors perhaps. I enjoyed your drawing and how their brush tips appear to work and agree Ohuhu are missing pastel colors for a wider range of tones. This aside they're definitely heading in a good direction!
I agree it's a good idea to start out with a set of base colors like this, since it's the first brush tip set they're releasing. The problem is that they told me they were lighter when they weren't, like it was a marketing point to tell my subscribers. I wanted to point this out in case people thought they were getting "lighter" colors to add into their existing ohuhu marker sets ...
But I agree! It's really a good start! I hope as time goes on they actually CHANGE the colors... It seems like every "new" set they release has repeats of the same colors instead of introducing new ones. :( They probably would have benefited by going the copic route of "set A" and "set B" with different colors.
@@LemiaCrescent Definitely agree! It would be helpful if they sold color based sets instead of quantity sets. This way if a person was to start out with "Set A" of the chizel and tip markers and really love them they could then buy "Set B" of the brush markers to expand their color collection & slowly upgrade to brush tips. Once their first set dries out they could buy "Set A" of the brush markers to complete their upgrade! And if Ohuhu later introduces "Set C" of both marker types (with hopes pastel colors are introduced) it'll be easier for people to add just those new colors from the set to their collection instead of needing to buy repeats with a full set. Much easier to add on to a collection.
I'll have to try these for myself on my channel. I've been looking forward to these since Ohuhu's first set!

You're absolutely right. I just got them a few days ago. They worked amazing, but I can't find a color to color the skin because all I draw are pale anime characters. So I ended up having to use watercolor to color the skin lol. It worked well but I think I'll probably get the copics E00 and E000 as well.
I find that the colour caps are much more representative of the colours once they have dried.

I got a set of two sided alcohol chicle nib and brush markers for 10$ From AC more. The markers were darker than labeled but I still use them. They looked like the Uhuhu markers but they weren’t ofc.

I keep seeing reviews on these but the skin tones detour me a bit. I like using super pale tones lol i love this art peice tho! Very pretty! Hope to see more vids! Feel spoiled seeing two videos in such a short time frame 🥰 luv ya lemi!!!

@weeby weeb It's just because all lot of these youtubers love ohuhus as alternatives to copics, now that they have brush nibs they are an even closer comparison. Also most of the youtubers were sent the markers by ohuhu so that they could review them right away. Most youtubers that illustrate with markers also knew the brush nibs were coming out for a while now and probably couldn't wait to test them out.
Same I didn’t buy these markers but the older model so I’m learning stuff on them :D

Looks like a great set, but the lacking of lighter values is a shame. Hopefully they produce more markers with both darker and lighter shades. Lovely artwork you made with them too, the colors look beautiful :)

Nope, these are the first alcohol based brush markers they have available. I'm assuming they'll eventually expand to larger sets like how they did with the bullet/chisel sets they sell.

@@abbiclarkarts9092 I guess that depends on if you're in a rush or not. I would say if it's your first experience, then you could buy these, by the time you're done practicing with them they'll probably be low on ink when the next larger set comes out? If you have other brands, maybe waiting for the bigger set may be more ideal? If it's similar to what they've done with the bullet nib sets... a lot of colors may overlap between set sizes. :(!
