  • Today we're reviewing Bianyo Alcohol Brush Markers. These Bianyo Alcohol Brush Markers performed great, and for being brush markers I was thoroughly impressed and happy with the results! In the review I do point out a few issues I had with the markers, such as some of the nibs being a little too rounded on the brush end side, and the black crystals that seemed to have formed on a few of the nibs. But that aside, I had fun coloring with them! Below is a link to the Bianyo Alcohol Brush Markers!!

    Salinization is that happens when you get those crystals. Saline is present in alcohol inks, and it can separate over time. It has this bizarre outcome that's highly noticeable on fiber nibs (it even happens on Copic's chisel tips because they a fiber and not a fiber/rubber compound like the brush nibs) -that being the crystal and "growth-like" appearances on them.

    Dunno when this video was uploaded - but do you still ever use these markers??? And if so - have you noticed any major changes with the overall performance of the marker itself or the brush quality for example ?
    Thanks for sharing! This is the first video I’ve watched of yours - therefore... the first time I’ve ever seen your art - and I was truly amazed to see your art work from start to finish ... transform from a blank canvas to an absolutely amazing piece of art! Seriously. I didn’t expect that while first clicking on this video. Honestly , I was just expecting same as all the rest...... a quick scribble scrabble comparison of two brands blended in a small box side by side to compare one another . So thanks for the over and beyond show of the overall quality and performance of these markers .

    Definitely NOT nitpicky at all about the brush nib comments. An artists medium is CRUCIAL to the work they create, and the enjoyment that they have while creating it - if they don't enjoy what they're working with, I don't think they would enjoy the resulting work in most cases! (Personally I wouldnt! I probably couldn't finish a work if i used a product i didn't like!)

    Hello ♡♡I am geting 36 copic markers soon
    And unsure on what paper to buy. I don't want it to leak though.
    How do you blend colours together?

    • @sssserene
      @sssserene Před 5 lety +1

      Hello! Firstly, I'd like to say that for marker illustrations, I believe that most people use cardstock or mixed media paper, as well as the obvious marker paper. Blending happens when you put two similar colors next to each other and layer the ink around the other color until you get a blend. Tutorials are offered plentifully on CZcams.
      Secondly, you seem to be quite beginner when it comes to markers with these questions. Instead of paying the super expensive copics, maybe purchase a few Ohuhu markers to try out alcohol-based markers? Or pick up some prismacolor brush markers to try out brush markers a little. Please don't take offense, I'm just trying to save your wallet! :)

    The box I know can be set up so you not only have access to markers but also the colour chart with number and name.
    Ohuhu has no names although they started out giving markers names. Now 200 supposedly unique colours with no names. People remember names but have a problem with numbers. I have the 60 set and have 52 names and 8 markers with no names that look suspiciously like other colour but the markers have different numbers. Ohuhu has no Colour Chart on it's site, so emailed 8 numbers and asked for the colour names. Ohuhu's only reply was a 200 Colour Chart that has no names, a chart I had already said in the email had no names. I was going to buy their 200 set but I have no confidence I would be getting 200 unique colours. This could be solved easily if Ohuhu put a Colour Chart with number and name of colour on their website. Of course they still could be producing duplicate markers under different names. It is a sad showing and offers no service to their customers.
    I am interested in other markers that are reasonable for the price and have colour names.

      So when I started digital art I made the mistake of abandoning traditional art for yearsss! And my skills in traditional art kinda suffered. I wish I had kept up with it. So I definitely recommend buying traditional art supplies. If you don't have money for both, you really don't need a ton of supplies to do traditional art. Paper and pencil is usually best. Add in a sharpie fineliner to line your work, and maybe some alcohol markers on the cheaper end side (maybe Arrtx? or Ohuhu?) Just depends on what sort of budget you have. As far as digital programs go, I only use Paint Tool SAI. However I do hear a lot of good things about procreate! But I havent tried that yet. I hope to one day! Hope this helped! =)

      Lulu lemonzz - Aww it's definitely hard keeping up with it. I had to quit due to work lol. As far as prompts I just follow other artists prompts or just draw whatever I want.
