FaZe Clan used to be one of the most well known and respected gaming organisations around, but over recent months things have taken a turn for the worst. Once you become a publicly traded company everything changes. Not a single one of these members could serve on the board of directors or understand a single thing about running a company.
A series of bad decisions, bad corporate management and scammy activities has killed this clan
Those businessmen saw these guys coming a mile away and hijacked them. Its like the managers who end up screwing over child actors/singers, they always end up ok, but the people that got them there are left out in the cold
I remember watching the old Faze Trickshotting clips and practicing trickshots on MW2. Back when everyone wanted to land a "Temper" shot lol sad how much Faze has changed.

I'm sure there is some contractual stuff, but why don't the OGs just leave and start anew. Knowing what they know now, and with the original fans feeling as they do about them, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to build back their original fan base. At the very least starting new would serve as a big FU to the corporate faze clan. And, building something new after all of this would be the ultimate trick shot. They just need to make sure it's only a 180° and not a 360° lest they end up exactly where they are now.
It’s crazy to think I used to watch them from the beginning and to see them like this is kind of crazy. They were so cool to watch back then with all the trick shot and sniping (feeding) vids funnies and fails and road to a killcam 😂

Thats what happens when you let financial leeches into your circle. Faze started as a clan then quickly grew into a "brand" and as soon as the marketing agencies became aware of FaZe clan, they pounced on the opportunity to infiltrate and exploit them from within in order to make monetary gains. If they cant make money off of you anymore then they'll pack up and move onto the next up and coming prospect and repeat.

I have no emotional attachment to FaZe, as they we're not part of my childhood. So what I don't understand is, why go public, with the stock, just to "bitch" about it later. i feel like esports is profitable if u do it right but the problem with these orgs is that they just buy out teams at a crazy high price that has no chance to return profit back and they do nothing with them no content videos no merch drops and even when they do have apparel their apparel just screams were a esports team instead of apparel people can wear on a daily basic prime example look at 100 thieves apparel compared to the shit that faze is dropping these orgs just want the biggest and best players on their team no matter how unfair the contract is too them and thats the problem these guys need to work on making all contract beneficial for both parties then actually set in place things to make them the most return outta of that contract but they dont bc they really dont know how to do business and the people that know how to do business dont know anything about esports so it fails both ways
