      He was always like this. His edgy comedy was always a front to how vanilla and unoriginal his punchlines actually are, and he was always in love with himself, he just didn't have the necessary Plattform to truly show his colours. A dead giveaway for all of the narcissists is that they never say anything actually divisive. They always have "Ok brah" opinions. They don't want to share their ideas with the world, they just desperately want to be liked and worshipped by everyone, leading to most disingenuous vapid and vain behaviour.

He’d joke about being able to do heart surgery without hesitation and that’s always been him, there’s been way more ppl exposed to him ever since then and his success matches his perception of himself and no he feels unstoppable. I do think he’s funny but I also see why so many people don’t like him.

    This guy reminds me of that 1 "friend" we all had when we were in HS/college. You know the guy. There's 1 in every friend group for some reason: the guy that intentionally made people uncomfortable for his own amusement, is arrogant and obnoxious as hell, and always had to be the center of attention. The guy that was around only b/c there was just 1 influential person in the friend group that liked him and kept making excuses for his behavior by insisting that "he's a really good guy deep down if you'd just get to know him." And of course eventually everyone matured enough to just stop hanging out when that dude was around because life is short and why put up with BS.

    It wouldn't surprise me if many great comedians would feel at the very least a bit pressured by Shane.
    He reminds me a lot of Ricky Gervais in the sense that he is a funny guy without having to try. Always insanely sharp as well.
    You can tell in longer formats like podcasts. He is always VERY consistent.

    You can't compare The Steiny and Wittney Podcasts Steiny was Being a shit host, Being on his phone, tuned out of the convo and Shulz rightfully gave him shit. With Wittney he was just out of pocket for no reason probably because Wittney hurt his ego

    I discovered Andrew's comedy and his podcast in the beginning of lockdown and it was honestly the highlight of those months in confinement. But idk what's been happening since last year.
    He stopped posting as many stand up clips and 7/10 guests on the podcast were mid or just plain bad. Plus they would just give their opinions on stuff without bothering to look up ANY information about it.
    I remember Mark used to pull up the same article from different news channels to get different perspectives and they would discuss things at length while including funny comments.
