Great work man! Next thing I plan to do is adding AC too

Thanks man! Definitely nice to have. You going to go with the Hybrid kit since you have the half rad?

Thanks! Hopefully another update before winter, once I get all the interior in along with some other finishing touches. Hope you find some time to work on your EG!

Your setup came out absolutely beautiful. I am going to do an ac tuck on a future EG as well but I plan to do it with an electric 12V ac compressor. My strategy is on the passenger side I am going to fabricate a tray like those battery boxes, but, that is where I will mount the compressor.
My plan to do this is because I want to build a turbo b series and keep the full size Integra radiator and have ice cold ac. Plus it will clean the aesthetics of the engine bay.

Thanks! And that sounds like an awesome setup. Would be interested to know how good the electric compressor works.

@@e-dod for sure brother, It's just now figuring out the ECU component for the compressor. Classic Retrofit is selling their own kit for the older Porsche's to do the conversion.

@@Speakingdatruth Wow I see it on their site that is so cool! Looks like they have one with an ECU as well? www.classicretrofit.com/en-us/collections/electric-air-conditioning/products/electrocooler-compressor-ecu-only

Oof that’s comfortable, but not cold enough lol jk. My K swapped supercharged integra was reading 47-48 on a 90 degree day. But yes, your insulation definitely plays a big role.

Wow that's ice cold! Hopefully the insulation will help.

With the K20A oil pump 45vtc gear do you just time the engine as manufacturers spec

I agree, it should be pumping out close to 50 at least. My k sol was around 48*, but that could also be outside temperature dependent. You should have the thermometer in the center vents as those get the best air flow.
Also, I’m not sure how much refrigerant it should take because an RSX I believe is 17 ounces, and the civic I think is 23 ounces. You might be slightly overcharged. I haven’t been able to find a direct answer as to how much refrigerant you should have in the system, if it’s based on the compressor or the system the compressor is installed in. Just a thought, great videos though👍 keep it up!

Appreciate the advice! I will have to check with the AC gauges again to see if its within range. I think the pressures will read high if its overcharged. I guess since its a combination of components its hard to know the exact capacity of the system. I am also a little skeptical of the accuracy of the temp gauge. I think it might read 10 deg to high since it was 90 that day not 100 lol.

@@e-dod that’s a good point. I ordered ones from Amazon that were meant for ac system testing, and they sent me an entire box of 20 when I only ordered one. 😂

No! 70 vent to 80 ambient? 10 degree differential? Should be at LEAST 30 below ambient. Driving down the road and air across the condenser and rpms up spinning compressor faster would be even colder.
