I wanted to 'pilot' this video format on familiar ground. I did consider doing a voiceover instead of the text but I'll save that for the future. Doing a voiceover takes a bit more effort especially to get the audio correct/not interfering too much with the sweet jazz music from the engine.

You're on an absolute roll mate, some epic content on its own and on top of it true racing drama and podium success. The subtitling in the videos works really well - you can just get on with driving and then worry about the commentary afterwards. You've even managed to not injure yourself for a bit. Keep up the great work!

Hey Danny.🖐 Your WILTD series is already tops and I think the pilot 'On Track' edition just raised the bar. Good to be able to give it the full send without worrying about Sunday drivers (well, for the most part 😉). The fact that you took the time to install the footcam so we could see the LFB and heel/toe action is much appreciated. Even had on your dancin' shoes.👌 Honestly man, big Shoutout to all the guys like you and Joe for not only keeping these old Hondas going, but for making them better than they were ever meant to be. The EG Civic hatch has such a timeless design and the older they get, the more special they are in my eyes. Looks like Joe has his properly dialed in. This is therapy to me! such a healthy sounding engine, and you have some serious skill and coordination. I tried left braking once and it just couldn't process using both legs.

I was never a Honda fan until I found Dan’s channel a couple of years back.
Now every time I see the Honda content it’s the best content Dan could ever put out, for me personally at least.

Great content enjoyed this. Just got a 92 Civic Hatch with a B18 Supercharged, full cage, 255 tires and all. She needs some work but gonna finish it. Car is great and you sir have inspired me to improve my driving skills. Felt like a spring chicken at NCM Saturday.

How do you like the AR-1's Dan? Car sounds really nice, closest to a 90's BTCC engine sound you can get.
I love the K20's it sounds awesome in that EG hatch,I should have saved up on a K20 but it wasn't available back then instead I purchased a SiR B16a and moded that out but still run it on the track.

This is myyy favorite Honda I would want to race! I lovee the smooth design and curves of an EG Civic hatch. EG hatch, DC2 Integra would be my second choice. So I see we have the same taste haha. And then after that, AP2 S2000, FG2 Civic Si, FK8 Civic Type R. Maybe I'll be able to build 1 out of those 5 later down the road, as a fun little track build. 😌 Yours looks like the perfect setup too, just the right amount of power. I lovee how it sounds, omgg the VTEC! Love how it looks. Sexy ridee, spicy driving! It's nice that you knows how to heel-toe downshift so amazing, and just smart driving lines. And on a different note, damnn this track Cadwell Park looks so cool to drive, first time seeing it. Love the change in elevation, long stretches to pick up some good speed, long sweeping corners, and love this lil tight section @ 8:43 . That's probably my favorite section. Was very fun to watch! Keep it up brother. 😎👍

What brakes and disc size does the car have ? I so dont wanna scrap my EP3 to put the engine in my turbo EG5, but this seems like the ultimate setup...
I have the same setup on my EG except for the rbc intake manifold and 1.5 diff, there’s something special about the EG with a k swap I can’t explain it, it just feels magical the perfect balance
Tell me more bro I’m k swapping my eg soon. Going straight from single cam to k swap lol. I have no experience with b series lol
@@ssjdavid your in for a world of difference. The torque is instantly there and you get to your top speed way faster. Just take it easy on it until you get use to it and you should be fine

Good content Dan👌🏻 It reminds me of my EG project I'm currently running ofc. Great platform for a k20 and awesome power/weight/stability ratio. Even the same tyre setup, but I don't have the plated diff.
Does this one have a non-ps steering rack or a eg ps rack without it hooked up? I have the last one, it's a better ratio but gives some play without welding the "torsion" pinion.
It’s the last one mate. Feels okay but I’m sure dc2 is shorter. It has been a while though!
@@dannyDC2 yeah it's more then stock Dc2 (just around the middle of Dc2 and non-ps) but the play those racks have without fluid or welding exaggerates it a bit more 😁
