Great weekend for Barcelona. Made up 3 points on Girona, 2 points on Madrid and are now only 2 points back of Girona and 8 points back of Madrid. Still a long way to go in the season.

Totally dominated Atletico, better than Bilbao and only lost to vardrid because of a Bellingham worldie and extremely lucky 2nd goal by him. Xavi's Barca normally struggles more against bottom table park the bus teams, not the top teams that play openly.
@Prasko131 Madrid trashed Barca 4-0, 2-1 and 4-1 in the last 3 Clasicos. This Barca team are probably getting trashed by this Madrid team again at the Bernabeu
@@Prasko131 Did you realise all those matches you mentioned were played at Barcelone home ground. They will be playing away against all those teams and all those teams had à better home record.
In the coming days Barca will face Atheletic club, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Girona, Real Sociedad. And we all know Barca will lose points against this teams.

As badly and inconsistently as Barca has played this year, they are in 3rd place, 2 pts behind Girona, and 8 behind Madrid. As well as Girona have played, they are 2 pts ahead of Barca and they have stumbled the past 6 matches. I love the fact that Girona has moved into this top tier, but the certainty that they will stay in the top 4 is very questionable. It makes it exciting but quite frankly I don't think any team in La Liga has shown clear and convincing results. RM is leading and obviously is probably playing the best, but they have had shaky results lately and seem to be vulnerable to Atletico Madrid.

We could use that figure of speech for other teams too, Manchester United as inconsistent as they’ve been they are only 5 points away from top 4, Juventus as good of a season they’ve had they are only 9 point away from inter, Athletic Bilbao are 5 points away from Barca and will face them at their home for their second feature. Point is that you’re using that figure to speech to slightly say that Barca are in the title race, but they are not, and pundits aren’t including them because of how bad they’ve been playing, doesn’t mean that they didn’t get their 3 pts at times, but most of their games (including champions league) have them barely scraping a win, especially with all their next coming features, getafe, Bilbao, Mallorca, and atleti, they’ll be dropping a lot points, and that’s without even discussing them facing Madrid in their second feature at the bernabue.
Barcelona have to play Real Madrid, Atleti, Girona and Athletic Club. Away. They will not take any points in those 4 games. Barcelona will finish 4th at most if they are lucky.

@@mtj7544 Listen I want Barca in the Ucl because their one of the best teams to represent La Liga, but one thing I’ve noticed about Barca fans is that at times they’re very naive and over confident at times. Before we faced them in the Spanish super cup finals, most said that last season Madrid won the first el Classico 2-1, then they beat us in the next el Classico which was the super cup, thinking the same would repeat this season which wasn’t the case. My point is that Barca’s last two la liga games Granada (18th), and Celta Vigo (17th) place they drew one at home with a 16 yr old scoring in the 80th minute to equalize, and other needing a last minute penalty in the 90 min to win the game. They’re up coming features are against teams that are not only higher in the table, but have players that can seriously hurt them which could result in them either pulling off a win or a draw against Barca, with most of their hard features being away.
