MJ made his billions off of investments in his soccer team, racecar team, hospital clinics, food donation organization, the Boys n Girls Clubs he opened in 1993 in CHI, on top of all the restaurants he owns (the man has a literal steakhouse dedicated to his name). Not even mentioning the fact that he owns a damn basketball team. You sound dumb.
He’s most known for being the GOAT, period. The sneakers, space jam, the behind the scenes, the mystique, the accolades, the journey, it’s everything, it’s all part of it. It’s almost like his story was pre written, hand crafted.

I’m a 13 year old teen and my Dad comes home from work and tells me “you got to turn on the basketball game tonight and watch this kid Michael Jordan. He is absolutely incredible.” I was hooked from then on.
Happy Birthday 🐐
You know what got me? I was like 12, didn't even like basketball, but some friends and I walked to the store and they had some packs of basketball cards, we decided it would be different and fun so we each got a couple. Got home, sat in the front yard and opened them. I still remember going through the cards and coming across a Jordan, 91 hoops where he's dunking and has an expression of idk you know how he is like maniacal intensity or determination, and seeing it just instantly flipped something in me. I was in awe I'd never seen such a thing, n it was like I came across exactly what I wanted to be like. But yea from there him and basketball became an obsession for a long time. Still have the card.
U was really watching Scottie Pippen 's great defense and Mike take all the credit cause he was a scorer

You made my point Tony. It was Michael himself and his amazing style of playing that turned us onto him, not his shoes like Shannon said. The shoes were cool but if Michael didn't back it up on the court, who would buy them?

Jordan just looked cool, the way he moved and played, like nobody back then made basketball look like art or poetry, but he did. Just so many things all wrapped up into one made him stand out like some mythical creature. It's honestly hard to fathom how one person can be so far ahead of not only his peers but entire sports history, almost like he was gifted by God, literally and intentionally. Rare isn't even close to sufficient in describing what he was.

i dont think jordan is another level than ali. i just think the media is different and he's more marketable. jordan didnt speak out on issues so he's more palatable to white audiences than ali. that dont put him on another level though. much respect to his amazing athleticism still.
Why make this a race thing? That’s so weird and disgraceful. He was a winner that maximized his potential and was by far the most fun player to watch. He hung in the air for days and always hit the big shot. That’s why he’s beloved as the GOAT
My admiration for Jordan has absolutely nothing to do with his stance (or lack thereof) on social issues. If anything, it’s the reverse. You’re just disrespecting him BECAUSE he didn’t take a stance on social issues and agree with you politically, but Ali and Lebron do so you want to put them on a pedestal over MJ. Social issues should have nothing to do with the GOAT subject. Somebody agreeing with you socially doesn’t necessarily make them better than somebody that isn’t a social activist. Appreciate greatness while it’s here! MJ the goat
He was the Best offensive player on court and the Best defencive player on court at all times! who else does that!
Air Jordan so influential becoz MJ hangtime ability is unreal and no players able to imitates. Sometimes over 3-4 defender in the air. It's so iconic that everyone wants to be like Mike.
Happy Birthday MICHEAL JEFFEREY JORDAN 🏆🐐🏆🐐🏆🐐🏆🐐🏆🐐🏆🐐 the 1 & Only G.O.A.T. Been a M.J. Fan since 89 Never Faded 💯💪🇺🇸
I remember when the Bulls won in 98. I had a hoop in my hallway. And the Bulls went up and on a ladder and cut the net. So I got on a chair and cut the net to my hoop.
Mike was so inspirational!!
Side note - I got grounded because my mom new that I’d want another hoop because I had no net now 😂
One of the greatest basketball players of all time
One of?? 🤣🤣🤣 !!🐐🐐🐐
My son was born the same day MJ won his first championship. He was born 26 in 26 weeks and went straight to neonatal unit at 6:24 and the game came on at 9. Tip off was around 9:12 and I watched the whole game as my son was fighting to stay alive..
My son is now 31 and about to be 32 on June 12 when he was suppose to be born September 25. God is Great
Happy Birthday to the 🐐 and he is still as popular today as he was when he played. I became an NBA fan because of MJ and there will never be another player like him. 20 years later and this man still has the hottest sneakers in the game 🐐.
Changed the world 🌎 it’s bigger than basketball 🏀 he upgraded all sports all over the world 💯
MJ is on another level. Alone. Solo. No one comes close. Period. 🐐
MJ did something that no other pop icon has ever done - maintained the exact energy that made him who he is. His demeanor, his attitude, his ethos is exactly the same. His greatness was in his conviction and consistency. He believes in the qualities of greatness - so much so that he has become "greatness".
Happy birthday 🎂 MJ. You’re the Goat 🐐 now and forever.❤
