Rainbow Six Siege is a very complex game and has a lot of hidden features and operator abilities. This not only makes the game difficult to understand and learn for new players but even the most experienced players forget some of these details. In this video, I want to give you a reminder of some of the game features and operator abilities that you might not even know about yet. Nøkk, Rook, Maverick, Ela, Zofia and Finka all have hidden abilities and we also cover features about hatches and barricades! Find out all about them in this Top 10 List!

When Ela is scanned in the preparation phase, Zofia can say "I'm serious Ela!" when she spawns in. Not a hidden feature, just a fun fact.

Zofia and Ela also have special laser sights on their pistols that no other player can see except for them. It's a green laser.

You missed one. Rook can place his armour pack before spawn peeking and getting himself killed in the process

When Doc is downed, he is abled to get his pistol out, reload, aim it at his leg and shoot.
When Zofia is downed, she is abled to revive herself Naruto style, with the pure force of her will.
A downed Finka cant even push a button.

@@tzombikos9718 Makes a lot of sense actually, since muscle weakness will impede fine movements (pushing a button) even more than gross movements (crawling)
Also ying is immune to her flashes, something that i have seen one of my friends not understand at least at the start (its not mentioned in game)
And the most broken ability: capitao can lean both ways despite having an eye patch

I've had one time it was useful we downed our ela on purpose and she activated her DBNO grzmont to make a Monty that was fully extended and guarding a defuser drop his shield and shoot him in the legs

Simulacrum Dei Yea not often, but if you play newcomer you’d be surprised how many defenders just walk right past the damn armor and I need to hop on voice comm just to nudge em over there.
We live and we learn, but every once in while that extra armor comes to bite us in the ass lol. If I’m not mistaken there’s always an extra plate aswell.

She can’t hold down wounds and a match is 3 minutes, so she can’t stay the entire time

You forgot to mention NOKK's faster ADS time when her gadget is active and Finka can't revive team mates that are currently being interrogated.

Honestly they should add a feature where when you get finka boosted while being interrogated you smack her away or something. Same with zofia, with her pose in her operator image I thought she would suplex cav when withstanding and getting interrogated

If you make the callout quick in off you'll prevent it, it really works, the takes usually around 2 secs to start interrogating

something I thought Rouge-9 would mention but he didn't, is that as long as you are in the self reviving animation with Zofia, the bleed out is paused, so if you try to self revive then cancel at the last second and do it again, you can effectively be down for like 15-20min, maybe even more.

I like the idea of having extra features in the game like these ones, However i do wish the actual Descriptions mentioned at least a few of them.
Maybe have a short and sweet at base but then you can press "Show More" and it breaks down sertain quirks the ability has.

Top 10 hidden features
Rook: Is able to eat bullets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Gridlock: Is able to block out the sun thus making everyone blind.
Probably still one of the most underrated operators in the game.
Pocket shotty is amazing for opening up hatches and walls and the special scope on her 249 is nice too

My smoke looks like a swamp creature eyes glow meme beccause I use the Halloween uniform and the midnight owl headgear and all you see in the dark is 2 dots where his eyes are that follow you and with time I've played smoke I mostly used the gas as a way to "convince" attackers to find a different route, force them to run, or trap them on stairs, in a corner, or in a room

My Finka story:
I was playing on fortress by myself, and by chance 2 of the 4 random followed me through a window into the stairwell.
But of course cav was chilling on a pile of laundry or something and downed all 3 of us. She didn’t want to kill us because she wanted the interrogations I guess. When she was about to start interrogating
an ash started laying down covering fire through the window we rappelled through and finka boosted all of us back up. That round ended soon after because a pulse was sitting around the corner listening to this madness play out, and chose the perfect time to strike with his M1014.
You missed Rook's hidden ability to put his armor bag down on tables so his teammates don't need to bend down to pick up their sweaters.
As of Operation Steel Wave, Ela & Zofia's stun gadgets will no longer reduce the victim's aim sensitivity and Finka will revive operators with 30 permanent HP instead of the previous 5 permanent HP.

There's something extra about Rook, after being revived, you lose your Armor Plate, however you can take another one if there are leftovers and I believe it guarantees another DBNO.

Rogue-9 I think you missed out the fact that Ela’s concussion mines will also cancel out Finka’s boost.
I guess the fact that I knew every single hidden feature shown in this video (even everything about Finka. Especially Finka) is a testament to how it might seem complex at first, but with experience you can learn and practice how to make the best of all the features. There even other features not mentioned, like....
-The interaction with Castle Barricades and explosives/Fuze/Ying,
-How Ash's Breaching Round will be destroyed by electried wire, but Zofia's KS79 will not be,
-How the CSRX and OTs are the only weapons to puncture through the windows on Plane, how audio can be heard more easily on the other side of a reinforced wall if there are bullet holes on the other side,
-How the actual point of impact for the Reflex Sight is at the top of the Triangle (which I have known forever, but somehow many experienced players didn't know for a long time),
-How the EMP grenades of Thatcher will disable defender's Reflex, Holographic, and Red Dot sights, but not ACOG Scopes
-How Wamai's gadgets can grab some Attacker gadgets that can be destroyed before being deployed (Trax, Airjabs, Breaching Rounds etc.) but not all of them
-Bullets simply disappear after a certain point
-How guns currently can have no, simple, or full penetration depending on the weapon type
-That Shotguns have no Headshot Multiplier
-That Mira Windows, when placed at the right time, can destroy Exothermic Changes on the other side of a reinforced wall.
-You can change the deployment method (hold vs press)
-And even just something as simple as the fact that you can cancel a grenade throw, or lean while using most throwable gadgets, and the fact that
I love the complexity of this game. Figuring out and testing all these hidden features, is super fun and interesting, and knowing about them, and using them against players who don't, essentially rewards you for doing research on the gameplay mechanics. I can understand why more casual players don't like them, it's a lot to think about, and the game doesn't explicit tell you they exist unless you look them up. But I would say the majority of the players I play with and against, know and utilize these features whenever possible and it's a beautiful thing.
(ALTHOUGH, I do wish the game told the defenders WHEN the attacker's are using a Finka boost. It would better prepare them, and give them more of an opportunity to utilize it's counters. But hey, that's just me.)

He also didn’t mention that Finka CAN revive herself if it’s timed perfectly, which isn’t ideal for gunfights but can be useful if you’re falling from a high place. When you revive yourself it plays the doc stim sound.

It’s a glitch, which is why it wasn’t mentioned. I don’t know how finka can’t just press a button on her thumb and pick herself up, but doc and take a stim gun out and stick it in his leg

I actually got boosted out of a frost mat with some weird timing. It activated like, right when I got hit. I don’t know if it was patched but it only happened once
Done that just once from Finka's side - the same moment BB vaulted into trapped window and get knocked, boost went active and BB was like "nvmnd I am fine".

It has been patched now
There is another interaction with double frost mats that is actually more of a bug with the mats. If two people get frost matted too close together you will hover in the air for a second and break the mat leaving you in the animation, but able to be revived by Finka because the mat is destroyed technically. It's a hard bug to replicate but it won me a round on Oregon on big window about a year ago.

Another weird Maverick trick: his gadget destroys deployable shields instantly.
And is one of the few gadgets that take out maestro turrets!
I used to main maestro and so many people had no clue how to deal with them, then a random sledge or mav would come outta no where and ruin it.
@@Kmn483 it makes sense because maverick's torch would be able to melt the bulletproof armor and glass of the evil eye and sledge's hammer could cause the parts inside to break from the amount of force he would hit it with

One thing you didn't mention about Nøkk: when her ability is online, she doesn't trigger the alarms in metal detectors and can sneak in silently

I think that's just metal detectors in general. I've many instances where I go through a metal detector, on atk and def, to which nothing happens.

Something worth adding for rook's armor that not a lot of people notice is that after you get downed you lose your rook armor, but if there's an extra one you can equip it again.
I never knew that droning while Nokk's ability is active , would make her glitch through cameras . . .

Dude thank you so much! I learned ALOT. I'm a pretty new player and recently picked up the ultimate edition of the game for all the characters. So needless to say that's a whole new learning curve. This is seriously some solid advice! Will improve my game play 100% So yes I paid for the game twice lol but it was still so worth it. I'm not new to shooter games by any means but this is a whole new beast.

I had the same problem with the Roni. The recoil is just too little so I started using the angled grip and longer barrel on it. And I never use the longer barrel, only on guns where the other option is a supressor, but hey its still better than using no attachment, especially on a gun like the Roni that has a small dmg number.
