I personally use them almost EXCLUSIVELY for walls to mess with Hibana. It's not obvious it's jammed unless you're next to the wall. Either that or I relocate them after drone phase if I have time.

Rogue-9 if nøkk and iq get an effect from the jammers, that would mean mute jammers can essentially block out all digital/remote controlled gadgets but not the mechanical ones like zofia impacts n ash's beach charge. Doesn't it?
And glaz being a thermal scope, IMO it should get an effect similar to jackal...
Jackal pings are relayed to the team, so they're wireless whilst IQs and Glaz's gadget is personal. If Glaz's scope was effected then all scopes might have to be?
Agreed Blitz shouldn't be affected by jammers, Nokk is not affected for balance is my guess

@@Rogue9 The jammer jams signals, not electronics. Nøkk, Blitz, Glaz, and IQ aren't based off of wireless signals. If anything, Jackal is the outlier.

The Blitz one is the only thing I didnt know about before. Man when you started talking about inconsistencies with the Mute jammer I realized "wait a second, that shouldnt work" That is funny.
blitz and nokk make no sense meanwhile jackal and finka could use it but their teammates won't be able to get those effects so they probably don't use it to waste them but when it is the last man standing it comes to the pure game balance territory...
Play casual during a free weekend and watch noobs place mute jammers in the middle of the room. It is mind boggling.

IMO blitz shouldn’t be affected and neither should nøkk. Because blitz’s shield is a flash bang and doesn’t need a signal to flash it’s a mechanical thing. With nøkk sure it’s electric but her ability is masking her presence in the transmissions of cameras and since she probably uses something similar to mutes jammers by disrupting the signal waves it shouldn’t really affect the potency of her gadget. With IQ it’s different. I feel like she shouldn’t be able to see the gadgets but the screen wouldn’t be jammed. As she only picks up signal waves from electronics and her gadget doesn’t rely on the signal waves themselves

@@Rogue9 mute jammers can't stop the projectiles because it's a gun powder pressure launched project.
Example like ash breaching rounds are projects, they works same as bullets do.
When a fireing pin hits the primar it ignites the gun powder and pressure pushes the bullet towards the taget.
Zofia life line is not a electronic gadget it's like a double barrel granade launcher like M203 or Gp25

He is the only counter to lion other than mute.

With regard to the pistol running: your research was solid, and definitely useful. But _getting to your destination in less time_ is not the only reason to want to move faster, y'know?
It's definitely the main reason. But if, say, you're forced to cross a gap that the enemy is potentially looking at, and if crossing that gap is more important than killing said enemy (somewhat rare, but it happens) then moving 5% faster while you're out in the open would be beneficial, even if the distance is shorter than your experiments indicated.
Say you need to pass by a window. You're not gonna shoot through the window right now, but there's a chance the enemy is looking out the window. Bam. Pistol run past it, and you'll be moving that little bit faster during the brief time the enemy may have sight of you.

Small hidden feature: When playing as Pulse and you have been EMP’d by Thatcher, he will comment on it when pulling out his heartbeat scanner. “Somethings wrong, my signal is jammed”.
If you play as either ela or zofia and kill the other sister you will get extra points for "sister rivalry "
If you keep downing the hostage over and over again in the same game, it’ll eventually say “-300 You Monster”

Minor Correction! In the list of Thatcher effects, Valkyrie belongs in the "disabled" column, not the "destroyed" column!
Edit: As of Operation Steel Wave, Echo's stun effect will no longer depend on how fast you run. It will always last 10s instead! The Rolling Camera Effect has also been removed from Echo's stun ability.

Rogue-9 does realize that a echo blast usually consist of a defender coming to that exact area
You do realize the Mute Jammer blocks electronic connections, like the "Bluetooth" connection from the operators phones to their drones, and the wireless signal from the trigger to the breaching charge.
The mute jammer does not disable the actual electronic component, only the wireless connection between the trigger and bomb
So why is Blitz affected by them? It's hard wired.

Yeah i think he may have goofed there. I just had this happen to my cams in a game last night. They get scrambled same as default cams. I think bulletproof cams still get destroyed tho, cant quite recall.

15:02 Valk’s Black Eyes do not get destroyed if it was in the proximity of Thatcher’s EMP, even default cams, that was changed 2 or 3 seasons ago.
He was even wrong about the “inconsistencies” of mutes jammers. He wrongly said the jammer doesn’t effect some gadgets due to “balancing” but it’s only because that’s how the jammer works. It stops wireless signals. For example if you need a remote to control or activate the gadget, mute will effect it.
KiraSune though technically then Nook’s gadget then should be disabled then because she has to press a button on her glove to activate it. In that case it is a balancing thing(if I’m wrong feel free to correct me)
Reckless Treecko the key word is wireless connection, nooks gadget is her outfit itself so I’m most likely I’m assuming nooks button is a wired connection to her suit.
Reckless Treecko also I did think of some inconsistencies in mute, why does it effect jackal?
Further correction, it is "remote signals and activation" that the jammer blocks. Nøkk's ability is already activated before entering therefore isn't affected, this would be confusing for Jackal but while his gadget is still active, his electronic camera signal is jammed. in short, the things Mute doesn't block is anything mechanical like grenades, or anything pre-activated and on a timer, hence Thatcher, Ash, Ying, Zofia, and Kali.
One thing that interests me about this is that (this currently isn't the case, but) if ever Ubi wanted to give extra incentive to buy Ace the new hardbreacher, when the other two cheaper hardbreachers are just as loud, faster and more effective, they can choose to make his timer based gadget immune to Mute jammers.

He is a balanced and fun Operator.
So the best idea to save some time is to do it in the preparation phase, where time is very valuable, especially as a Kapkan, that has to lay traps on possibly three different levels, while also picking up armor plates and reinforce two walls/hatches. Otherwise as an attacker I hardly ever switch to my secondary, unless I play Hibana and want to go CQC.

A feature I literally found out about 5 minutes ago (because I hardly play her) is that Cav's silent step actually wastes Jackle's tracking. And it makes sense because she doesn't leave behind footprints while using it. The timer still counts down, but it can't track you.
This is irrelevant, but what's your opinion on the new R6 team messing with Recruit, Castle, and house? I personally absolutely hate it
lmao people have been crying about castle needing a buff for years, the second they give him more soft destruction people start crying that he is getting changed.
What do you hate specifically and why? Castle isn't being messed with he's just getting the super shorty instead of the M45
I don't mind them tweaking house. Could make the map less one sided and as long as it keeps the feel of the classic map, I'm ok. I also like the little detail of the construction room being finished and now a bed room.
Castle needs even more work IMO and I wouldn't be surprised if this is only the first step. Recruit changes are honestly also fine by me. The only reason that character exists is so that complete newbies who don't have enough operators yet have something to fall back on when all of their ops were already picked by teammates.
Castle getting a pocket shotgun: good, it gives the defense more flexibility for destruction. And no, castle doesn't need a huge buff as some say.
House getting reworked: great, this map was a nightmare

One of my favourite things to do with mute is to place 3 jammers by the objective, and carry one for when I am roaming. If I find a suitable angle/place to hold, I’ll place my remaining jammer at my feet. Counters basically everything.

When playing Vigil simply use his ability prior to a Lion scan to remain undetected and get a jump on rushing attackers. This is something I recently picked up on and find quite useful.

To add to the inconsistencies with Mute Jammers, although a Mute Jammer does not cancel out Nokk's cloaking if already active, you are not able to activate her ability while in the Jammer range.
@Rogue9, correct me if I'm wrong but, wasn't the effect of emp on black eye cams changed to disable a year ago?

Thanks for the feedback. I guess for very experienced players, there might not be anything new here but when I made the first video, there was so much stuff that I didn't have time to cover that I decided back then to shift some stuff into a second video. And then so many people commented with more stuff, that I now actually have enough valid material for a third video.
But I understand that this series might not be for everyone.

The lawnmower being waterproof is very appealing since you could take it in the shower.
I dont know if you have covered it already, but motel's jammers have a bubble of effect around them, which isn't displayed in the placement reticule. So the can in some situations be used to block hatches
