- Operation Shifting Tides has been out for a couple of weeks now for Rainbow Six Siege and because Kali has to rely heavily on her secondaries while pushing into the objective it might be useful to have a look at them. Is the pistol straight up worse than the secondary SMG? Are there any benefits to using either gun and which one should you choose? Rogue-9 but u forgot how massive the sights are on the C75 and it gets harder to see the enemy while on the other hand the P226 sights are much more clean and makes it more visible to see the enemy sorry if grammar is bad

P226 regardless. 2-4 shots in most common fight ranges. Super controllable... PENETRATION! What's not to love? Especially the PENETRATION!
c75 iron sights are wayy to thicc, you couldn't even see gridlock with sights that wide
If you want to use the C75 you have to aim at their Feet and let the Recoil go to their Head

Because the 75 has a vert grip on the front of the gun so one hand is further forward than the other thus bringing the gun back towards the face ever so slightly. Where on the 226 both hands are able to fully extend to full length

They gotta give the CZ a sight, even if it's one of the worst ones like the Red Dot or the Russian Holographic. I use it over the pistol regardless but those irons are ridiculous.

We have a pistol with Red dot (RG15) so why not attach one to C75 as well? Seems like the gun is suffering from poor camera placement which shouldn't be a factor.
Because its recoil is amazing for an smg secondary, so there has to be something which balanced that out
MARiNZ0 I think adding a red dot would make it a bit overpowered since Ubisoft doesn’t believe secondary guns should be as nearly strong as primaries. I wouldn’t mind a buff to the iron sights though, they’re one of the worst in the game imo

ghost bna it pretty much is haha but since it’s a secondary ubi gave it a real small mag and crazy unpredictable recoil, so it balances out

The fire rate caps out after a certain click speed is achieved. The fire rate shown is probably the most accurate.

I run P226 over C75 everytime
You have to try to take it from another perspective:
Back in the day I used Bearing 9 to open up up barricades cause the Type-89 of Hibana carries 21 bullets and full reload takes ages, so 5 more shots are nice ( you need anaverage of 20 to open barricades).
But with Kali having a sniper rifle that open barricades with one shot and thhe terrible iron sight of the C75, the P226 is the easy winner.
High damage, quick ADS and if you spam mouse 1 enough, you click those heads.

The C75 would be spectacular if it had it's own little proprietary sight like the RG15
P226 is my favorite pistol in the game, hands down. It's extremely reliable, allowing you to just click on the enemies' heads and win. It makes shotgun Hibana/Echo more than usable, despite the top of the line automatic primaries.
But I still run C75 on Kali. It's just a better complementary weapon to the AWP, and I must be weird because I don't find a problem in the iron sights.
It being reliable doesnt mean youre all of a sudden good at headshotting people, its not like there is recoil before you fire the gun

Personally, I have just grown used to the cz’s iron sights because I use Vigil and Dokkaebi alot. However, I would rather have a sight on it, but because Kali’s p226 is not as deadly, I prefer the cz. Great video Rogue 9!

Iv always preferred pistols to machine pistols, iv never had issues with firefights because of i was using the pistol. (Being killed because of potato aim or surprise, or simply not quick enough reaction time is a factor, but that's can happen to me no matter the weapon (not including the smg-11, i suck with that gun).)
But iv always enjoyed using pistols, especially the 1911 model, and Clashes pistol (my two favorite in the game).
Though it's about whatcha used to and the skill you have with the tool for the scenario.
hey i really like the c75 and I can reliably get kills with it as its recoil is surprisingly amazing compared to other secondary smg's. Yes, the sights are a pain in the ass but as I am able to compensate for it by aiming bit lower then flicking to where the head is, I think it's in a good spot

I use the cz but my dad who cant conteol recoil (rarely gets kills but I want to give him the best set up i can) i just gave the p226 for the better recoul control and laser sight so u can spray more effectively

Ummm, yes because I keep on winning my CQC fights with it more than the CZ. Has good kick and precision when used fast.
Here's a good question to ponder. Should the semiautomatic pistols get a little bit of a buff to be able to compete with secondary SMGs and primary weapons or should they stay a last resort weapon for when you run out of ammo? I think the best way to go with a buff is just to make the iron sights better and less view obstructing.

I started my shooter career with call of duty 3 and still play historical shooters regularly, so I drive all my friends nuts with my low aim placement and even more nuts with how good I am with irons in R6
Almost every game I played, people using C75 on Kali though... Now that if they saw this, they might gonna change their mind. Nice vid btw.

A trick i've learned while using the C75 is NOT aiming at head level but at neck/chest level. The recoil will make the headshot afterwards, and you still get situational awareness.
What do you mean if there is any point to the P226? I've been using it way more than the C75 on Kali, and I've been much more successful. (maybe because I'm a Thatcher main)
I agree. Yes the c75 is pretty good I used it but if your shooting 1000 rounds and can't hit anything then it means nothing.

Choosing the pistol is a better option in my opinion. The lowest zoom potential you could go down to with Kalis sniper rifle is 5x. 5x is still a lot. When face-checking (room clearing without a drone), it is more advantageous to peek with less zoom on the sight. This is because peeking close angles where defenders sit is easier with a small zoom. The irons on the pistol are far better to see through so getting that headshot is much easier.
I'll stick to what I'm good at: rushing obj with the P226

I've been running a lot of the semi auto pistols with out muzzle brakes. The little extra recoil helps carry the sight right up to their head! Use the recoil to your advantage!

Do to the recoil and horrific iron sights/sight picture on the C75 the P226 is a slam dunk for me.
I think the C75 really needs a sight because the iron sights are its biggest issue. I still use it however as time to kill is much better and it’s harder to use a pistol on controller as you have to track with a joystick whilst aiming down sights and tap firing all simultaneously which can make it fairly difficult. With the C75, you can just hold fire

Is the BOSG counted as a shotgun with no penetration? I seem to never be getting 1 shot kills close up when the opponent is crouching. If it is, I think it should be changed to simple penetration as the BOSG is virtually useless without 1 shot kill potential.
Penetration is for hands,feet and head....not one shot kill.
The BOSG counts as a dmr so you can headshot multiple people at once....
It still is in the shotgun class tho. You can use the bosg for the weekly shotgun kills challenge.
And shotguns have always been inconsistent in like every FPS game.
I believe BOSG has full penetration. I remember seeing that BOSG is an exception to the shotgun category in the patch notes for the season.

I use the single fire P226 personally and it's only because it does more damage. I don't have the best aim anyway so whether I'm using a sniper or the single fire pistol as long as I get at least one shot on Target in the body or somewhere I'm doing more damage than I would have with an uncontrollable automatic sidearm that just for some reason is way too sick to look down sights and is not usable anything over 10 meters
I go with the c75 for the obvious fire power but have had terribly unreliable results when shooting at center mass recoil should have gotten headshots but maybe arms are blocking who knows....
you basically came to the same conclusion I did, the P226 won, used both and the sights are just too thick and were hiding things. I also liked the switching to the P226 for movement plus I can spam a pistol alright so I kinda made the switch after release and haven't really gone back :)

Interesting breakdown, but the reality is pistols fail most of the time against the rate of fire of any main machine gun. The best bet you have is to treat the C75 like you were using a shotty and try get close shots whenever you can. Kali is weak in mid-range whether she uses P225 or C75, but with the latter she can make a good run of it at close range.
As much as i love bolt action sniper rifles, i always prefer to use DMR's like the OTs 03 SVU or the Mk14 EBR in R6siege for their flexibility in combat situations. if i was in tarkov however i'd more often use a bolt action instead.
Trick for fire-rate on controller put the end of your finger on the start of the r2 button

You forgot that pistols are a nightmare on console. Im a PS4 user and i find it difficult to use ANY semi auto gun so obviously i would go with the C75. However the BOSG is the only semi auto that i main. Its pretty good for me and i find that the recoil control is kinda pointless if all you need is a headshot. Also i recommend using Ela's Scorpion EVO. Its really good on console for me and so easy to use you would swear it had a secret buff. I know its off topic but i thought i would mention it anyway.
Can there be a option to have a separate sens for the 12x it is just too high for me but I can’t individually change scope sens
Ok, but the spread out of bullets of the c75 makes head shots more likely if you are not an aiming machine.

If you reload your gun before you waste all your bullets, your charcter will only switch magazines. Making it a tactical reload. If you use all your bullets and then reload, your charcter will switch mags and either rack the slide or press the slide release making it a full reload.

Well IRL I carry the modern equivalent of the 75, the CZ P07 and that may bias me.
The super shorty have better iron sights than the C75
If they gave the C75 sights it would be way more effective, using the P226 simply because I get a better target picture with it's iron sights.
I usually use the C75 and I mostly play on console. It’s the only automatic secondary I find at all useable on console. The sights are abysmal, though. Thus, I tend to switch between her two secondaries depending on what I plan on doing and what sort of angles I’m gonna be holding. I wish the secondary autos were a bit more usable on console but at the same time I get why they’d be scared to do that >.>

Spicy Mexican I suppose I should’ve said “in comparison to their recoil on PC”. You’re right, the SMG-11 ain’t so bad to control. What I meant is that if you compare all the auto secondaries on console with their PC counterparts, the only one that has recoil similar in controllability across platforms is the C75, which also has the easiest. But yeah, I agree. I just didn’t really word it well lol.
I think we should use machine pistols like Marley uses normal pistols, until you see an enemy, you aim and then fire, not preaming with like any other weapon
Personally I use the C75 for it simply being an auto pistol which is nice in close range gun fights. Anything remotely at a distance and I'd rather use the primaries (which are honestly some of the best long range options out there) that these guns get paired with than to try and bother using the pistols anymore.
My issue is usually muzzle fire obscuring my vision when I shoot, then I have this dummy thicc sight on cz and stability issue, Id rather stick with the P226 suppressed and run around like a marathon man.
Since the primary job of Kali is to cut off rotations - at least that's how I interpret her - I would value the mobility of the P226 over the power of the CZ

People complaining about the irons and the recoil on the C75. First off you aim with the tip of the irons. If you follow that rule they're not that bad, although I will say there's a rail on top there's no reason you shouldn't be able to slap an optic on it. Second there's very little recoil on that gun, but then again I play sledge with the smg11 as a primary and only really use the L85 for long range engagements so maybe I'm just used to harsh recoil
12:02 is the reason why people don’t use the CZ, you can’t see shit. You have to aim super low which is bad, and the muzzle flash is why I don’t hate on anyone who uses it with a suppressor going for headshots.

In my opinion the c75 can be great when paired up with a reliable primary such as vigil's weapon... On the other hand the p226 has high spammability (low recoil high firerate) and also somewhat high damage. But it's still a semi auto pistol...

If this was last year and the pocket SMGs didn't have literally more recoil per bullet than the CSR-X itself I'd say go with the CZ no contest. But since the pocket SMG changes only the SMG-11 is really still usable.

I prefer pistol over all machine pistol. Why? I hate having the gun jump unpredictably. High damage pistol with better accuracy and recoil suits my play style more.
Yes, I'm aware the recoil can be learned, but no thanks, the time when i need the sidearm is when in emergency and CQB situations, in which the pistol is always more effective for me.
