Its the aim of the person as every gun can one shot headshot wamai’s gadget is good but dangerous you cant predict where players will go but jager destroys the projectiles (exepct for capitao and gridlock) so even with good placements the players themselves will be the deciding factor. Inform them at the start of the match of every wamai you place or will place down can be good but will they remember where you placed the wamai amidst the combat. They can hear my magnet going off again with constant gun shot and ambient noises it is almost impossible to hear the magnet In conclusion: Both ops are good but they have pros and cons

As a Jaeger main I will swear by that operator any day of the week....but since the release of Wamai, I've been playing no one else! His gadget is SO much fun to set up in places that end up hurting the enemy team as they are pushing, and making sure that I'm in a place that can easily capitalize on a Capitao firebolt dropping on top of his friendly xD. The Aug A2 is an AMAZING gun on defense and my Ace counter has gone up significantly with its use. The fact that it takes up a ton of space on the screen doesn't bother me in the least.

Wamai’s redirection and detonation of projectiles are great if you want to delay the opposition from entering a room 🤔 Isn’t that an even stronger ability than simply destroying them?
As long as you are careful about positioning. A frag grenade can still take out a lot of friendly gadgets if Wamai is not careful about the Mag-NET placement.
The big difference to consider in most rounds Is simply (IMO) the throwable nature of the MAGs vs double use of the ADSs. It's all up to that. Wamai allows more creativity and can be used on reaction, but offer Little protection against someone spamming flashbangs to clear your position before using a frag. Jaeger on the other hand requires more knowledge of the game and is anyway limited by the need to place the ADS on specific surfaces and are hard to "Hide". Said so, there are various other things to consider (Jaeger Is faster and has a superior AR, Wamai has access to a revolver that can open line of sights quite easily and has a shield...) but the biggest difference Is the nature of their gadjet.
I would argue that wamai, requires more game knowledge than Jaeger. Jaeger is not as challenging of an operator you make him out to be. On most defense points there will always be Line's of Sight that attackers can never see. You place your ADS's in the areas attackers are least likely to see and because they're least likely to see them they'll throw things there. Wamai however, requires that you predict your enemies movements lest your gadget be a worse version of Jaeger's ADS. Most games you place ADS's in the same spots over and over again.
i think that jager should be used in obj, and wamais on outer obj area defence or other bamboozle spots, like puting a wamai outside near a castle baricade

I think thats why we have Maverick. The M4 and the 416-c are pretty similar in performance but personally Nokk or another attacker could use it with an ACOG.
This is a homage to how well designed Wamai actually is. They’re both good, and now there’s an alternative to jaeger that will drop his play rate (hopefully) so that he doesn’t get a major nerf (also hopefully)
My favorite video but Jager is our oldest friend so I can't say that a new guy's better same for kali, thatcher is better (gadget) and it's sad that they want to make new ops more powerful than the pathfinder that are the best.
I'd honestly say that Kali may look like a Thatcher alternative, but her role and gunplay is much different. But I understand what your saying and I don't like that they keep trying to one-up the Pathfinders.
Both are extremly usefull, but i prefer Wamai for two reasons. 1. It's so much fun seeing a capitao block the attackers own way. 2. The fact the Mag-net deals with Gadgets like Gridlock and Capitao.
As always, fantastic video. Theres one thing you failed to take into account though: I have a big dumb skeleton headgear for jager. This is how I pick my operators.
I recommend using Wamai in combination with Goyo You can throw his gadget right on top of the shield bomb meaning that you can set them off with relatively no action

Something you vaguely mentioned but I think is very important: Wamai's gadgets are much harder to drone out and are less likely to be droned out and destroyed or twitch droned. Thus, as an attacker, it is easier to prepare for and burn an ADS than it is Wamai's discs
Wamai is an anchor who plays reactively. Jaeger is a roamer who puts his ads preemptively. They both have their skills specially tailored to their playstyle: a roamer (who plays more agressively and riskier) prefers a gadget that can be put during prep phase and forgotten about. An anchor is supposed to last the most in the round (that's why wamai's gadget works like a gu mine, which you get more of the more you last in the round); this means anchors get more of a chance to play reactively, since in average they ARE ALIVE later in the round. So again, the decision comes to if you want to anchor and not worry about grenades OR if you want to roam and not worry about grenades.
You should also factor in that Jäger's ADS makes noise, so you need to place it somewhere where the enemies have no sightline on it, while Wamai's Mag-net makes no sound, so you can potentially place it above the enemies, which will hurt them when they use a frag grenade or a capitao bolt (because they couldn't detect it).

What about the Famas? that gun with an ACOG is as tall as the Empire State Building, the exact reason I'm not fan of it. As much as I want to like the AUG A2, id rather use the F90 if I want to use an AUG so the 416 is for me.
Ok, what about duo combinations Of course, having jager and wamai means nothing short of a bug will be flying in the room But each have a distinct partner Jager has bandit Wamai has lesion Jager and bandit are the king aggressive duo Wamai and lesion are the king defensive duo One goes aggressive and use their gadgets as a more background thing The other focuses on stacking their gadgets and wasting the enemy team with them Personally, I'm a wamai guy myself, Jager never interested me like wamai did, plus, his pairing with lesion is so much fun
Even though jäger and wamai have similar gadgets, I don’t think people will pick one or the other because they have better guns or their gadget is harder to spot. I think it’ll come down to whether or not wamai’s magnet sees a spot in the meta against ops such as capitao and ying, because it gives him some area denial over jäger.
I play Wamai for his situational and combat flexibility. I've tried using Jager for things other than setting up and trying to get frags while soft-roaming but that's all he's really good for.
If ubi were going to reuse an old gun, at least have the decency to fix the gun model that the player base was complaining about for years, come on ubi.
One extra point about Wamai is that he is slightly more selfish in a way- while he can Yeet the discs, if you want a teammate to.play a particular position, say server stairs on bank, but need a more appropriate op such as Ela or Smoke on the position, the advance deployment of ADSs trumps the magnet easily, since Jager can then play a different position whilst Wamai would have to be actively assisting the stairs player.
Kristóf Perity he does not, one ADS takes out 2 pucks, you have to place 2 ADS near the same window to get that effect and that one Fuze charge gets rid of 2 ADS, the Mag-NET can even get Fuze to kill himself

Wamai needs to be a three speed, even though Jager is a 2 spped anti throwable soft roamer, that makes sense because his gun the 4-16 carbine is an absoulute beast of a weapon. The way his ads take out grenades with complete saftey to the defenders and all three can get rid of as many throwables as possible without getting used up. Now because wamai has the aug it would cause some controversey if he was moved to three speed, but it needs to happen to compensate for his over-time loading, one use gadgets. edit: ( forgive my mispellinngss) mistake pun intended
Definitely need a Wamai vs Jaeger rematch due to the recent nerfs to both Jaeger's speed, and his assault rifle's damage. I've been wondering about it a lot since then.
@Βασίλειος Μπεσλεμές He's still not stronger because of that. Their abilities are just pretty balanced. Jager can stop more and gets to use them all at once, wamai gets versatility and only deactivates from emps but has to stay alive longer to use them all or he might only stop like 3.

Counterpoint to shotgun "nerf" with the limb penetration: aim for the crotch. hitting pellets in the belly could now theoretically make close range frontal kills more reliable
Wamai is an Anchor, Jager is a roamer. Wamai's gadget recharge mechanic makes him far more suited to anchoring. Just like Lesion, his utility is wasted if he dies early in the round. Jager can place his gadget, and then doesn't have to worry so much about staying alive, because even if he dies to an early push or trying to spawn peek, his gadgets are still out there.
Wamai is more of a lurk anchor where Jaeger is a straight roamer. Due to the passive nature of Jaeger's splody Snipes he can lay them down and roam. Where wamai needs to be a little more active with his deployment of his gadget. Also since he's 2 speed he can't go far from sight.
Wamai it's a great addition to the game, me and the boys used to ban Jager and be recruits with nades and spam them, was so unfair until they added another Jager
Wamai seems like the better choice for me. The camp and Mira peek behind the new deployable shield in a corner of obj whilst protected by a load of mag nets strat seems really powerful. I have 1.8 kd with him now and have around 5 hours playtime(actually in rounds as Wamai) compared to my 1.2 kd for Jager.
Jager is a 3-Speed so I feel he wins by default. Were they both 2-Speeds, though, I really couldn't be sure whom to pick as the better Operator. They'd basically be perfectly balanced! Man, I wish Jager was a 2-Speed...

Shot a magnet that caught a frag above the window it was thrown from... it killed two attackers when it fell and blew up in the window. I’ll take it.

I think thats why we have Maverick. The M4 and the 416-c are pretty similar in performance but personally Nokk or another attacker could use it with an ACOG.

This is a homage to how well designed Wamai actually is. They’re both good, and now there’s an alternative to jaeger that will drop his play rate (hopefully) so that he doesn’t get a major nerf (also hopefully)

My favorite video but Jager is our oldest friend so I can't say that a new guy's better same for kali, thatcher is better (gadget) and it's sad that they want to make new ops more powerful than the pathfinder that are the best.
I'd honestly say that Kali may look like a Thatcher alternative, but her role and gunplay is much different. But I understand what your saying and I don't like that they keep trying to one-up the Pathfinders.

Both are extremly usefull, but i prefer Wamai for two reasons. 1. It's so much fun seeing a capitao block the attackers own way. 2. The fact the Mag-net deals with Gadgets like Gridlock and Capitao.

Well, Kali can destroy more types of things. It's an explosive, so it can take down castle barricades, shields, barbed wire, ect.

Something you vaguely mentioned but I think is very important: Wamai's gadgets are much harder to drone out and are less likely to be droned out and destroyed or twitch droned. Thus, as an attacker, it is easier to prepare for and burn an ADS than it is Wamai's discs

Wamai is an anchor who plays reactively.
Jaeger is a roamer who puts his ads preemptively.
They both have their skills specially tailored to their playstyle: a roamer (who plays more agressively and riskier) prefers a gadget that can be put during prep phase and forgotten about. An anchor is supposed to last the most in the round (that's why wamai's gadget works like a gu mine, which you get more of the more you last in the round); this means anchors get more of a chance to play reactively, since in average they ARE ALIVE later in the round.
So again, the decision comes to if you want to anchor and not worry about grenades OR if you want to roam and not worry about grenades.

You could actually counter fuze completely when you throw the magnets at the roof; It will succ them up and make them explode below the enemys feet!

You should also factor in that Jäger's ADS makes noise, so you need to place it somewhere where the enemies have no sightline on it, while Wamai's Mag-net makes no sound, so you can potentially place it above the enemies, which will hurt them when they use a frag grenade or a capitao bolt (because they couldn't detect it).

Of course, having jager and wamai means nothing short of a bug will be flying in the room
But each have a distinct partner
Jager has bandit
Wamai has lesion
Jager and bandit are the king aggressive duo
Wamai and lesion are the king defensive duo
One goes aggressive and use their gadgets as a more background thing
The other focuses on stacking their gadgets and wasting the enemy team with them
Personally, I'm a wamai guy myself, Jager never interested me like wamai did, plus, his pairing with lesion is so much fun
Even though jäger and wamai have similar gadgets, I don’t think people will pick one or the other because they have better guns or their gadget is harder to spot. I think it’ll come down to whether or not wamai’s magnet sees a spot in the meta against ops such as capitao and ying, because it gives him some area denial over jäger.
Wamai is really useful on some sites and less on others, it really depends on the situation.
Wamai means my team doesn't have to ban Capitao on Chalet anymore because Wamai makes it possible to still Bandit-trick garage.
I play Wamai for his situational and combat flexibility. I've tried using Jager for things other than setting up and trying to get frags while soft-roaming but that's all he's really good for.
I prefer Jäger because his Weapon is damn strong.

If ubi were going to reuse an old gun, at least have the decency to fix the gun model that the player base was complaining about for years, come on ubi.
One extra point about Wamai is that he is slightly more selfish in a way- while he can Yeet the discs, if you want a teammate to.play a particular position, say server stairs on bank, but need a more appropriate op such as Ela or Smoke on the position, the advance deployment of ADSs trumps the magnet easily, since Jager can then play a different position whilst Wamai would have to be actively assisting the stairs player.

Wamai can only catch one Fuze puck per Mag-net while Jäger destroys the whole thing
Kristóf Perity he does not, one ADS takes out 2 pucks, you have to place 2 ADS near the same window to get that effect and that one Fuze charge gets rid of 2 ADS, the Mag-NET can even get Fuze to kill himself

Wamai needs to be a three speed, even though Jager is a 2 spped anti throwable soft roamer, that makes sense because his gun the 4-16 carbine is an absoulute beast of a weapon. The way his ads take out grenades with complete saftey to the defenders and all three can get rid of as many throwables as possible without getting used up. Now because wamai has the aug it would cause some controversey if he was moved to three speed, but it needs to happen to compensate for his over-time loading, one use gadgets.

He's still not stronger because of that. Their abilities are just pretty balanced. Jager can stop more and gets to use them all at once, wamai gets versatility and only deactivates from emps but has to stay alive longer to use them all or he might only stop like 3.

That's fair. The main thing is wamai has to survive longer, so he is far more leaned towards anchoring. Jager can just place his stuff and run out and roam. Both are good, but I haven't played them enough to form full opinions on which I prefer.

I may not be the first here to comment, but I'm the first here to vote
Wamai is an Anchor, Jager is a roamer. Wamai's gadget recharge mechanic makes him far more suited to anchoring. Just like Lesion, his utility is wasted if he dies early in the round. Jager can place his gadget, and then doesn't have to worry so much about staying alive, because even if he dies to an early push or trying to spawn peek, his gadgets are still out there.

Wamai is more of a lurk anchor where Jaeger is a straight roamer. Due to the passive nature of Jaeger's splody Snipes he can lay them down and roam. Where wamai needs to be a little more active with his deployment of his gadget. Also since he's 2 speed he can't go far from sight.

Wamai it's a great addition to the game, me and the boys used to ban Jager and be recruits with nades and spam them, was so unfair until they added another Jager
Wamai seems like the better choice for me.
The camp and Mira peek behind the new deployable shield in a corner of obj whilst protected by a load of mag nets strat seems really powerful. I have 1.8 kd with him now and have around 5 hours playtime(actually in rounds as Wamai) compared to my 1.2 kd for Jager.

Jager is a 3-Speed so I feel he wins by default. Were they both 2-Speeds, though, I really couldn't be sure whom to pick as the better Operator. They'd basically be perfectly balanced! Man, I wish Jager was a 2-Speed...
