Awesome performance on duals. Great ride and TY for posting results!!
No problem! Thank you for watching.
Excellent job Randy! I know what modification I'll be doing over the winter.
Yep, it’s a must do!
Outstanding!
Really great numbers Randy.
Thanks for sharing this.
I’m pretty happy with it for sure! Must do upgrade!
That was so worth the dual battery setup. Thanks for showing how, and what one can expect from said upgrade. I’ve been thinking of adding a 20amp battery to my folding ebike. It came with 10 amps, and I’ve not ran it down, because I pedal on PAS 1 99% of the time, and even shut off the PAS throughout the ride etc. I would like to have all the extra battery in order to go even further on trips which is saying something as I go pretty darn far already.
Hello,Buffalo, this is Luna,we can provide you with the extra battery, you can contact me
Great video... def looks like the battery upgrade did very well ...outstanding results for sure
It’s been great. Went on a 33 miles throttle only ride today, still had roughly 35% left.
Wow it really looks like Covington Ga or Conyers GA
I’m in Missouri
Great job on the video
Thank you sir! I’ll be watching them Lectric Lite videos here soon. Thanks for the shout out the other day! 😎
@@RandyRides Thanks Randy
with your setup, u could probably do over 100 miles given you are conservative and do mostly PAS1-2 and minimal full throttle...
I'm thinking of getting a locking rear hard trunk. Like on a scooter. Maybe their mounting plates will be able to be used with the AR rear rack. 🤔 would be nice to be able to lock a battery and jacket up or helmet. Just not sure how much weight the kickstand will hold up 😁
I had one on the Rideal. It was okay, but it was kinda flimsy. I know they make some better ones though.
@@RandyRides Yes.. You want to keep weight down but still get one not easily ripped open by a passer by 😂
One like a Givi monolock 30 liter would be nice. Top case red and black would match mine..
How is pedal assist? I like some control and exercise.
Randy, I have a question. Does a 500watt motor casing hold a 1000watt motor?
Can I take out the motor, and put in a 1000watt motor, so I don’t have to get rid of the wheel as that is the most practical unless you wanted to pay $200+ plus to spoke in a new motor utilizing the same tire.
No way would I go PAS 1 on 2 batteries .. Lol. I did 75 miles on the stock battery alone. I did limit mine to 28 mph or 45 kph to speed.. So my level 1 PAS was below 12 or 12.5 mph.
Nice to get 50 miles aprx and a few hills in there. I don't think we have any hills at all by me.
Yeah it’s been a nice car replacement
Did you ever look to see what the max wattage being put out was?
Have no idea
@@RandyRides I see people report not ever seeing more than 1300 max wattage in the display
@@kevinnashskitchen3517 Eh 🤷🏼♂️ people focus too much on the numbers
i keep screen 2 up on the menu most of the time to watch the wattage. i've never seen it pull anymore than high 1300's. i'ts flat where i live so it's way more than powerful enough for me.
@@AvocadoAtrocity I do know that. I have went through the entire screen. Is it accurate though? I think not.
i'm interested in the Ariel Rider but I got to say their poor manual and seemingly lack of customer service along with people getting their bikes fixed is worrisome. I'm used to regular bicycles and this would be my first e-bike so having good support is important to me.
Join the FB groups and talk with the people there. There’s a great community to help you, if you find yourself in those predicaments. If you check other ebike brands, they all mostly have this issue with customer service. AR will get back to you, just stay on top of them and make sure they see your message. They’re just incredibly busy dealing with the very large increase in popularity. They make some of the best ebikes at the best prices. Don’t be discouraged.
@@RandyRides thank you for your reply bro, respect
Before adding the battery what was your maximum distance throttle only, 25 miles?
What is that closest to the left grip? It looks like a thumb throttle but I know that’s not what it is.
With two batteries is it twice the power or is it twice the range? Can the motor handle the extra battery power? Is it still 52watts but 40 AH? So is speed the same? Or does it increase? Thank you.
The speed is the same. The range doubles. Nothing else changes but the Ah. The motor will be fine.
What phone app are you using?
Looking into this bike but how do you think it will fit for someone who is 5’6”?
Read through the comments. I posted a TikTok that my buddy made of his girl getting on the bike.
Whats the max speed you can hit on flat road? Has the double battery affected the speed at all?
I’m right around 35mph most times and I weigh 240lbs. If you watch the video, you can see it all. The battery might’ve scraped 0.5-1mph off the top speed, but not much of a difference for as much weight as I’ve added to the bike. It’s a heavy one to begin with. The motor is performing flawlessly. 👍🏻
What is the (exra) weight now after you did everything and with you on it, without the bike weight? 200 lbs? I think I weigh 185 plus a trunk and gear and extra battery will get me at 220lbs
Naw maybe 50 with the battery addition
@@RandyRides I meant with you added 😂
Does this bike have cruise control like the electric XP
No
What did you use for the thumb throttle?
www.decod3d.com/product/ebike-thumb-throttle/
Hey Brother; How much did you pay for the extra battery?
Did you put a different throttle on? Looks like it has a lip on it
No I used one of these
www.decod3d.com/ebike
Nice idea allows to still switch between grip throttle and thumb without committing to a permanent replacement.. thanks for the reply
i think you will break 100 miles on pedal assist 1. better pack a lunch lol
I stopped at Popeyes today lol
Dude, he would of gotten easily 70-80 miles with throttle on this run, so at PAS level 1 I see nothing less than 106-150 miles. Unless he were not putting in any real effort, and even then he get a few miles still over throttle alone which is considerable as it is already. 😁
That’s taking into consideration Randy was conservative in his ride, but if he were to average a 20-25mph then 55-60 miles should be expected.
@@buffalomind6838 more like 50-60 miles throttle only. The last 50% of the battery will drain faster than the first 50%.
@@buffalomind6838 i have the same dual battery set up as randy. on my last 2 charges i put my seat low and did throttle only. mostly going 17-25mph. i got over 60 miles both times with 30% battery left.
