Today I'm going to be solving the Barrel 2 Puzzle by Akio Kamei from the Karakuri creation group! Not a super difficult one but fun none the less.

I think he grew up in Germany or something so he actually speaks fluent German. I presume he just wasn't sure about the word for puzzle, perhaps he learned it in English first.

'Puzzle' in German is just 'Puzzle', except pronounced 'Poozz'l'.
'Rätsel' is more like 'Riddle' but the two do overlap so it's not wrong.

But he asked what's the translation for "puzzle". So it's of course "Puzzle" by pronouncing it with "u" like in Uber. Rätsel means riddle.

Purely from my own experience, I find it's more the syntax than the pronunciation that makes German challenging to speak for native English-speakers. I think, with a bit of practice, most people would find it reasonably straightforward (by the standards of learning a foreign language) if they didn't mind native German-speakers thinking they sounded like Yoda.

how the actual F did u become so good at doing these almost imposible puzzles, seriously evertime you complete an ouzzle it blows my mind
My guess is that having started with easier puzzles he learned a lot of the methods and mechanisms. He then developed his muscle memory so that as the puzzles became more and more difficult he was able to try all the various techniques without having to work them out from scratch every time.
It's like driving a (manual) car. When you are learning, you tend to crunch the gears because you don't have the coordination between your foot on the clutch and your hand on the gearstick. With practice it becomes easier until you become a more proficient & experienced driver. Then you don't have to think about gear changes, it just flows naturally.
If you look back at some of Chris' very early puzzle vids, he struggled with level 6/7 and was really happy to get them solved. These days he could solve a level 6 with his eyes closed (almost)!!

The roll is brilliant because that's why kegs are design that way. Meant to be rolled and pivoted easily especially when they are wicked heavy
Duuuude, that opening. I could /smell/ the beer. Also, that THUNK when you hit the keg on the mat was just super satisfying. Beautiful puzzle! Also just hilarious how long we just sat her watching you roll a barrel back and forth like a goofball.
