Today I'm going to attempt to solve both Karakuri Christmas Puzzle box presents I've received. The Safe by Akio Kamei and the UFO box by Osamo Kasho. Enjoy!!

They actually outsmarted him by making it a simpler puzzle than he's used to solving! * insert smart meme here *👌🏼
You don't push the edges of the box you just pull up the UFO while it's on its side and the panel will drop into the slit

That eye was driving me crazy
This guy is so worried about perfection, that he aligns the timer parallel to the corner of the table mat (2:01). We share similar brain cells, Chris!

thats actually crazy, there two puzzles and both have their individual intro, the amount work put into making that cinematic intro and for what? the main focus is those puzzles being solved but chis has his own way of making it even more mesmerizing for the viewer. i appreciate every single sec of his videos...

Pulling the UFO would probably be easier than trying to push on the small frame on the bottom :)
Also spinning the safe holding it from the locking dial rather than making it spin in the table.
And it would be very easy to yank the entire UFO outta the thing as well. Wood isn't exactly that rigid.

Dang all these puzzles. Been watching a lot of these videos the past week or two.
So cool. I only ever do regular picture Jigsaw puzzles when I do a puzzle, which I quit because my cat usually ends up knocking on the floor a difficult 2,000 piece one, so I just throw it out. It’s so defeating for that, start over and at least one piece will probably be missing when you finish. Happened at least 3 times. Silly cat. She’s a baby though, total sweetheart.
Recommendation: I just watched your Hardest Lock puzzle, and was wondering if, at the end of the video of puzzles like those, you could resolve them in like 5/10 mins. It'll be interesting to see it be solved step by step as well. :)

I’m addicted to this channel. These puzzles! And the magic tricks he does! He must have such a cool collection of puzzles, and obviously cards, but the puzzles! I’ve shared this channel with friends of mine, don’t know if they subscribed but maybe they’ll get hooked too.

Great intro Chris like the voice over....ufo puzzle box is awesome, really ingenious solution. And then a 2nd intro vid for the safe puzzle. Hahaha "got it, oh no!" Great content all around this video.

Love the videos you got me back into puzzles I didn't know it was that big of a thing. Use to do them with my grandfather when I was younger. I was just gifted the egg and dice puzzle from a couple of friends of mine

@@summermcginnis1818 Yeah we lost power on Monday at 2am and it didn’t come back on until Thursday morning! I work at a drug and alcohol treatment center and we lost water there on Wednesday, but it’s slowly coming back on! Crazy times! Stay safe and warm :)

You’ve gotten me into card collecting and doing magic. since I’ve subscribed I’ve purchased 110+ decks and started learning magic). I have all your decks except 1st V1 and the Carpe Noctem deck from Ellusionist. Both are pretty expensive and can only be found on EBay or the subreddit PlayingCardMarket. But I’ll get em one day!!! The bits that do nothing....
1) The ufo is the lift handle for the inner box.. you don't need to push the rim from below..
2) For the spin move you could hold the dial and spin the box..
Always love a good spin move puzzle. Been a while since we've had one.

Chris, I love the intros you make, honestly, they are cool and add something more to the video. However I miss in your videos something simple yet something that was gratifying(?). Was the little toon effects that you used to add when you were utting down the puzzle. That was as I said something very simple but it looked really nice.
