Here’s a problem: it’s 9 buttons meaning theoretically you can use four fingers each and a thumb AND the alarm only sounds after 4 buttons are pressed at the same time, meaning he only gets the error after 3 successes, that’s confusing specially when you are on a time limit and not watching on CZcams while drinking coffee
Also, in the end he did have to press them all at the same time i groups of four

instead of the sound the jewel could fall lower into the box. that would be so cool. the button thing would heave been easier if the buttons were lettered. too make certain of the sequence, unsure if holding the buttons pressed was necessary and was giving the alarming noise not only the sequence errors

Chris bro it KILLED me when you were pressing them all at once instead of just at least TRYING to follow the sequence 1 at a time and the getting the first 3-4 wrong 💀💀💀💀 you definitely smoked a bleezy before this solve 😂😂😂
The sequence wasnt even the solution. I have brain damage because of the fact that pressing 4 buttons was actually the solution before he tried to press the sequence at least once.

watching Chris do the buttons stressed me out. I kept yelling "get a sheet of paper and copy the pattern"... I thought the problem was that he was holding down the buttons instead of just pressing them, and I'm still confused at the way he finally solved that...
I stressed out, too!! He also kept pushing the wrong order! :D
Ugh. I was actually talking out loud to him. He tried only two of those black pieces then stopped....

Thought the same thing. Then with the colors, I was like "Stop trying to say all of the first letters, just write them down!"

Watching him hit those green buttons was the most frustrating thing I have ever seen Chris do. MEMORIZE THE PATTERN and REPEAT. Stop holding the buttons!!!!
Nope.. wrong process to solve it.. you need to hold down 4 buttons equivalent to the numbers that arent covered by the correct panel. Buttons' numerical value is the order they flashed.. there are 9 buttons.. the panel that shows the zero or has more than 4 numbers visible are red herrings.

I still don’t understand how he did the first part. Did it just take pity on him just let him do it??
The plates covered the number pad, revealing only 4 numbers. The 4 numbers were the placement of the correct buttons within the sequence of the 9 green buttons lighting up. He had to keep trying different plates as only 1 indicated the correct numbers in the sequence to press. i.e. if the 'winning' plate showed 1,2,3&4, you would need to hold the first 4 green buttons that lit up.
That's exactly what I thought lol it was like FINE you're right now lol

Thats an OK escaperoom prop, but what the HELL was the deal with the green buttons? What was the intended method, and how was he supposed to figure it out? And why did he start to hold the buttons down intread of pressing them in sequence?
It was actually so mind numbingly simple. Just follow the sequence one at a time.
What happened was he got it wrong doing it correctly the first time and then just never went back to doing it the correct way
I know right ...? All I know is green means go... You pretty much learned red yellow and green when you haven't went to traffic school

If it just had a single button for simply replaying the clues, it would be ALOT better. Setup 2 would be changing the god forsaken sound effects.

This might be my favorite puzzle you've had on here. The steps weren't mind blowing or anything, but the interactivity and collaborative style. Plus the fact it was less than 3k!

Sick. Loved this one once it got rolling. That first bit was definitely a struggle and I still wasn't sure you were doing the right thing... but then it worked. Did you really have to hold all four buttons down on the first step? Or was it just figuring out that there were some that needed skipped and a correct order to hit them in? Either way you got it and after that part this was a really fun watch/solve.

No clue how you clutched out the wires and the numbers at the end haha. Insane.
It seems a lot like the game Simon with all the colors and having to remember the order, as well as it getting more difficult as you go along.

That floor plan that you showed was from the bank map on rainbow six siege! Also the uniform you were wearing was very similar to thermites. Super cool that you included that, rainbow six is my all time favorite game. Very cool

It’s because he did actually press them one after another I think. If you watch it, he pressed one at a time, he just kept the buttons pressed down.

the decoder really took away from the immersiveness. seemed like a last minute tack on to solve a complex problem by the creators. otherwise very impressive.
This puzzle is so off-theme it's not even funny. It's making all these cartoon sound effects when it's supposed to be a super serious secure vault for the most expensive diamond in the world. It felt like a child's toy or something

FFS, this must be the most annoying puzzle ever, I gave up after three minutes listening to that goddamn alarm.
watching this gave me an aneurysm. STOP HOLDING ALL THE BUTTONS. And not ONCE did u hit them, singely, in the correct order. just hit them in order. You failed EVERY TAKE either by the 3rd or 4th hit. Pretty sure getting "in" was completely random.
