that settles it: my goal in splatoon 3 is to truly become one with motion controls. i’m making it my destiny to master getting directs with blasters, flick shots with chargers, and basically everything that has to do with tetras
Well, it's not as dramatic as you see it, just play salmon run for a bit until you're used to it. Motions are quicker but will not cure walk and shoot. Just move around, you'll learn to roughly track your enemy.
@@TGCPhilip agreed, i feel like my biggest weakness is not being able/willing to move my hands fast enough and precisely enough to land the crosshair on the target. it’s the main reason why i prefer using shooters in X, even though playing other weapon classes is more fun for me personally
Tip to help you on your way:
With the tetra Dualies, you should either be dodge rolling or swimming. Time spent not doing either of those things is time wasted.
@@niksooxyz ever try a roller? It's slightly slower to turn if you have problems with directly snapping to opponents and also has a wider hitbox (or at least it feels like it) the only downsides are that you have startup akin to the range blaster (but you can strafe way better than range) and bombs could eat your tank
Edit: try to vertical flick a lot, that's where the range is superior to the carbon
@Flowever I used to be god with the Kshot, I still remember how erratic the camera movements looked. I restricted my play time for health reasons, so I use an easier but fun weapon, the Kroller. Some days I flick every third kill, I know this isn't really helpful but it could depend on if you started your session off well or had a good day. My mood affects my performance at least, that's why I think it might affect yours.
You'd be (not) surprised just how many people will run after and kill the rainmaker even as it's literally 3 seconds from self-destructing, taking out their teammates, and slathering the area in your ink color. I try to Booyah to indicate we're in a good spot, but _nope,_ so kill-hungry people will throw away an advantage.

There was one time on Wall-eye Tower where I got a similar quad. I literally just missiled the entire team and my missiles alone killed all four of them at once lol. Won us the game too.

You can learn a thing or two just by watching actual good players that work as a team in Splatoon instead of trying to solo carry the team or not care at all and die.
This is a very good example of that good team.
I used to suck at splatoon. Not being able to use a single charger, Missing all my shots with junior but ever since i started watching Chara's gameplay i tried to learn from him and noticed i was suddenly able to last longer then 30 seconds without dying, i was able to win fights even without perfect aim and i quite quickly become a solid S Rank player by level 30-ish. (and yes, my aim is good now). I am very happy i started watching and learning from this guy because now i am able to pull off triples to full team wipes quite often and i am able to completely turn around games. I am now rank S+ on 2 different modes and have learned a ton from Chara.

Object Shredder destroys Ballers and Ink Armor. It’s basically their counter.
I was wrong, though the above sentiment is true: that was Custom Explosher, which destroys objects all by itself, with or without Object Shredder. According to Inkipedia, the only interactions with Exploshers affected by Object Shredder is the Rainmaker Shield (3 or 4 hits depending on if the hit was direct or indirect), and the Beakon or Sprinkler, which gets destroyed in one hit anyways with the ability.
@@generuan3547 opponent is on k machine here, not explosher. Chara's baller popped so fast because he got hit by the e-liter.

Tips for managing ink consumption when using the Dynamos?
Honestly just be reserved, and get a good idea of how many flicks you can get off before you need to recharge. You already cover a great portion of turf with one swing so no need to spam like smaller rollers.
@@azza5332 Thanks. My main problem when playing the Dynamo is ink consumption because I want to get the special so often. Pretty much the only Dynamo that I use is the Kensa Dynamo, but I was trying Gold Dynamo. The combination of a Dynamo and a Splat Bomb seems so ink-hungry to me.

Soooooooo I don't want to be rude but this and some other videos I have watched on your channel have just convinced me you played this way too much for your own good... although I am the guy that's using a Neo Splosh-o-Matic (I don't remember how to spell it) only because I have used it so much I can't use anything else now which means I usually get murdered a lot so I may just suck at the game.
