This is a Splatoon 2 tournament 4v4 Sundaes 55, and this is our losers Round 4 and 5 matches vs Kiver/Obito/Brian/Zerraz and Jelly/Nolan/Ponyy/Volty. I hope you enjoy!

I know this tourney gameplay is a bit different then usual, the current meta is just very patient and slow, and I ran the missile support for my team. So we had to play very carefully for the right plays, so hopefully this can show more of how the quad shooter comp works in action.

We merely adopted the special charge up; they were born from it, molded by it
Quad shooter isn't that bad imo, but it's kinda unfortunate considering this is the game where you can splash people with a literal washing machine then get smacked upside the head by a giant, golden paint roller 2 seconds later. But still, you guys had a good run
while across the map your friend with an umbrella dies to a literal bathtub
And your other teammate gets a double on a heater and an umbrella that is made with a tent by shooting at them with a modified fire hydrant
Thanks for putting the gear your using, you should do that more in the future
Before I knew about Sendou I had to see who players died to, to find out good builds so I think it's good to show what builds your using cause it means that new views can see what your running

Chara, I enjoy seeing you play more modes that isn’t Zones. I know Zones is the most popular but by playing different modes, we at least get to see some diversity of weapon classes. Thanks for showing this.
Shooters will always dominate imo. They have the better kits, are not the gear dependent (when compared to other weapon classes), and have a history of receiving more buffs.
I think the problem is they just nerfed other classes strongest options

I dunno, I think shooters feel the most bland to play so it ain't that fun, but since I'm a casual it doesn't matter much.
casual players make up a majority of the player base. making weapons to accommodate to casuals shld be a priority, and prolly is, for the devs. at least they did in s2. but i agree, shooter rly is the braindead class.

Yeah, ProChara made a couple videos about why he's upset that the meta is just shooters because they're so much more basic than the other weapons in the games. Splatoon thrives on its diversity and uniqueness, but that gets ignored when it's all just automatic shooters.

@@mikedrxp his old mic sounded much more clear, even in his discussion videos it sounds like he’s talking from far away now
@@marshadow13 I do have a new mic but its definitely not worse. It sounds a bit further away because its an actual microphone rather then a tiny thing next to my headset. It's definitely more clear now and doesn't break every few seconds. There's a LOT of re recording and tuning I had to do in editing with the old one. I'm still working to adjust audio but my complains have gone down significantly after the switch (this is actually the first one and I changed it a few weeks ago)
So I can't really change it back (nor do I want to) but I will try to adjust it to sound better with time.
