The clam just not working is honestly just Chara's plot armor
Is that a thing that happens or was it a glitch of some kind?
@@Bransbow probably one of the very many bugs that can occur due to latency. There was probably some lag that occurred on of the last frames where the basket was open, and because of it, it just didnt give points for it.
But tbh, its a very strange thing that I have never seen b4, so who really knows
Could have said plot armor, but he still lost...
@@Bransbow im guessing the clam got in but the basket expired at the same time, so while it was registering the points, time was up so they couldnt get that clams point

oh god the suspense, i honestly feel bad for the other team, they must have felt so much pressure
I feel like the clam blitz ranked matches are always the most chaotic along with splat zones. People running around with clams and people gathering in the middle is always my definition of chaotic… although it is golden for getting some good kills

What even happened that caused the clam to not count? The only thing that I can think is that the basket was closed on the tri’s end (so they missed on that side) and it took a moment to communicate that with your switch. It kinda makes sense since there could be a bit of lag between you and the EU players but at the same time im not 100% sure

If healing was added to splatoon 3, i think it’s funny how it would make blasters obsolete again but for the exact opposite reason. “Good news blasters, you can one shot anyone again! But uh…about that tick damage…”
Honestly since Splatoon is heat-based like COD instead of HP-based like TF2 direct heals will always be both too weak and too strong based on context
I feel like a way more viable special idea would be throwing out a super tight/small mini zone (about the size of an ink mine) that can't be painted for a few seconds (4-7) that offers boosted regen for teammates
Still weak to direct damage/easier to one shot because you have to stay in the tiny ring, but harder to beat for enemies relying on ink resist traps/sustained fire

Hey Chara, I’ve been practicing Hydra splatling for Splatoon 3, and I was wondering if you had any professional tips. I also co-main K-Splattershot, if that means anything
I would main anything but hydra splatling for s3. It’s going to have no coordination with the squid roll. Sadly Splatlings are going to be the forgotten class in this next game.

i wouldnt lose hope immediately on splatlings if you actually enjoy using them, we have no idea what theyll be like and even then im sure some of them will be solid like ballpoint and naut in this game

I had something similar happen but with a power clam that would've KOED. We lost.

Unless Nintendo changes the communication options, I agree. Just give us an expanded/advanced setting to enable more options. If you turn on this setting, you get a bunch of choices in a wheel like rocket league or mario maker 2, if I hit right on the d-pad.
I only play solo, and clams is my fav and best mode

What does he mean by light baller and heavy baller? Does the special have different speeds????
Splatoon 2 weapons have weight classes. Depending on the weapon you can move slightly faster or slower depending on the weapon.
Something like Jr, Luna, and N-Zap are considered light weapons, so they move ~5% faster.
Something like Dynamo, Tenta Brella, and Hydra are heavy, so they move ~5% slower.
This speed also applies to when you are rolling around in a baller, so with a Luna you actually roll around a lot faster compared to something like Explosher's Baller

Baller moves quicker and changes direction quicker depending on the weight class of the weapon that has it. For example, the inkbrush nouveau and the luna blaster are considered light weight weapons so they have light baller (increased movement speed and turn speed). On the other hand for heavyweight weapons such as the custom explosher, the baller moves slower and can't turn as quickly (which is heavy baller).
@@spongii7937 It didn't always work that way. There was a patch that changed baller to care about your weight class.
