@@GypsyJazzSecrets no thank you very much. I have always liked "rock" music but as I have aged I like Tom Waits, Nick Cave, and I wanted to improve without becoming a headache for anyone else. And you teach or at least make it so much more enjoyable to learn scales and arpeggios, instead of just up and down the scale for example

I was born in what is refured to as Hell's Kitchen New York City so I understand small intimate kitchens.Our kitchen on 9th Ave & W 38th Street had the bathtub next to the kitchen sink small 4 burner stove 3 seat table . Just found more applications for the same shape ... lower it to the E string for G7b5 or Db7b5..... then move to the top four strings for dim7 or 7b9 .... thanks that’s really opened things up

Great lesson, Robin. I've only used that formation for min7th flat5th or dom7th with 3rd in bass. My chord knowledge is so spotty that lesson gives me something to practice and expand my chord vocabulary. Thanks for all you do!
