Thank you so much, I forgot about that piece and had cleared it when I first bought my unit used as previous owner said it never worked properly.

We were able to fix our machine just as you showed on your video. Thank you so much for making this video. It really helped us. We’ve been living in our tiny house for five years now and appliances are starting to give us problems. It’s nice to know how to fix the dryer now in case it happens again.

I want to thank you for taking the time to post this. I was able to correct the exact same problem with ease because of your efforts. Next time I have to do this, and with this design there will be a next time, it will be much quicker.
    Thanks again!

Great video. We have this same machine and when we installed it, we used the special elbow from Splendide that you showed. So far no issues but really appreciate the "lint clearing procedure" that you also mentioned. Always learning! Thanks!

    Thank-you so much for this.
It really helped my husband get
    right to the problem.
Will have to regularly do the "wash removal" lint system, which I did not know about.
Also, will be looking for a flexible lint removing tool we can possibly use without removing everything.
    Thanks again!

Thank you so much!!! Im testing it out now. I just finished taking that hose off and seeing if it was clogged. Sure enough it was clogged as bad as yours plus the link was wet(was just trying to dry for 2 hours, clothes were still wet). Started the dryer and the outside dryer vent has a HUGE difference in airflow now! I'm sure the dryer will work great now! Thank you!!!

You can get to the sprig clamp if you tip it upside down pretty easy through the bottom cover I just did mine

I didn’t think you could tip it over due to weights. I used a canister vacuum and tried to vacuum from the backside. Nothing. Then l pulled the cap from the front right side under the snap off panel, where the water drains out, and stuck the vacuum in there. I heard a clunk in vacuum. Ran dryer without pipe. There was a lot more heat. Previously I tried the half full wash cycle stuff...garbage. I have also checked the cap in front side for items and lint, rarely find a little fuzz. Have done extra water cycle repeatedly and with vinegar. Nothing. I’m what seems best the shift to powder wash suds. The liquid soaps create sticky lint. Machine is a lot happier on powder. I might still need to clear that elbow of lint, or replace the vent flap on the outside of the house.

Thank you for this video. Our splendide is beyond the point for that flush cycle. So we are going to do what you did this weekend. How easy is it to get that rubber piece back in and the spring screw tightened again?

    • @AlcoholFreeRV
      @AlcoholFreeRV  Před 3 lety

I hope this video helps in your endeavors! The rubber piece wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, having the right length socket driver/screwdriver to tighten the screw down. Good luck!

Please help. I am at wits end with my Splendide 7100xc. I recently bought a brand new Motorhome RV about 9 months ago for our ranch waiting for the construction of our home. For the pass 9 months the washer and dryer was working flawlessly until last 2 weeks. Keep in mind the RV has not been move or anything has change. The washer will finished the wash cycle, and rinsing cycle spinning at high speed in that cycle. Than add freshwater again in the rinse cycle and at this point is where I am having the problem. The washer will spin for 3 seconds and you can hear the door latch click a few times really fast and the lock red indicator lights goes off and on when the clicking sound starts. The water pump will purge for 5-6 minutes. Then Low Heat, Extra Rinse, Low Spin, green flashing lights flash at the same time, and the lock red indicator flash faster than all three green lights. I called the company trying to get help. First guy was so rude. He did not let me explain what was wrong with the washer. He keeps cutting me off and try to over talk every time I speak and told me the problem is not the washer is my RV. I called back the next day another technician told me I have a error code F-10 and send out new board. This technician was extremely professional compared to the first guy. I installed the new board and still have the same problem. Called back and another technician told me to use a generator to power the washer and ground the generator and ground the washer. He he informed me that I have a F-13 error code. Keep in mind still the same flashing lights. Truthfully I don’t see why this method will fix anything but I went ahead and try it out. After trying what the technician suggested and still having the same problem. Call back again and another technician told me I have a error code if F-11 instructed me to cut the power plug from the washer and install a Edison plug. He informed me that I don’t have ground and the my pump is not getting power. I told the technician how is that possible if the pump is pumping water out of the washer in the wash cycle and rinse cycle. Again the technician told me to cut the washer power cord and installed the Edison plug and that will fix everything. He get calls like this everyday on the same issue. At this point any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to the repair/training manual you have an f11, if the error codes are the same as for our 2100.
Fault codes are on page 51
Page 41 has the testing procedures for the F11 fault code

How the heck did you tighten that but on the black rubber pipe. I can’t...and if l pry l can’t imagine getting it back on. I have tried everything to pull while attached.
The clean out wash cycle only works when lint it lower down the shut.

I'm guessing you're asking about the ring clamp shown at 6:44 I loosened that screw pretty far, and the rubber duct slid on fairly easily, then using the nut driver cinched it down. As you know its cramped in there so wasnt able to get video of that. Hopefully this comment helps!
