HOW TO CLEAN YOUR SPLENDIDE WASHER/DRYER

Does your Splendide washer/dry take forever to dry? Try this method to improve its performance both washing and drying. Ad its nice to have a clean washer!
WASH CYCLE INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Make sure your washer/dryer is completely empty.
2. Make sure the dryer is set to Off.
3. Put the washer cycle on #11.
4. Add a cup of Vinegar on the first cycle only. I put the vinegar in the detergent compartment, but you can pour it directly into the drum if you prefer.
5. Turn the unit on, then press Start. You’ll hear and see the washer start filling with water.
6. When water stops entering the drum (you’ll hear it stop), push and hold the Start button until the green lights come on, then go off. Release the button.
7. Press and release the Start button again. More water will start filling the drum.
8. When the water stops, push and hold Start until the green lights go on and off. Release the button.
9. Change the washer cycle to #2.
10. Press the Extra Rinse button. The green indicator light will come on.
11. Press and release the Start button to let the cycle run.
12. When the cycle is complete, thoroughly clean out the drum. Make sure you have good lighting, so you can see all the surfaces inside. Run your hand along the bottom of the glass door to catch any lint sticking there. Gently pull up the bottom of the rubber seal to clean underneath it, where junk tends to get caught.
13. Repeat steps 3-12 two more times. Each cycles takes about an hour and 45 minutes.

I use aluminum foil to make a funnel and channel the water to a plastic tray on the groud instead of a towel and it works great

If you use #12 after you fill #11 twice it is more vigorous wash to help get all that yuck out. Just a little extra tip. Let 12 wash full cycle.

I found that it is better for me to clean after every wash however Just makes it better for me I have a stackables tho

We only have the combo splendide. I’m happy about cleaning the machine as if you don’t for a while it builds up and starts to smell funky lol
We aren’t able to do it after every wash for timing(our cycles take a good amount of time) , cost (when paying out of pocket) and travel reason (Boondocking, limited water supply, limited electric at certain camps).

Does this have a lint trap for the dryer vent?

Yes and no. Rather than a traditional lint screen, it uses a small amount of water to trap lint, and it all goes down the drain.
