  • France is Asking its Men to "Drive Like Women". Here's Why | Vantage with Palki Sharma
A French road safety association has launched a campaign urging men to drive like women, aiming to cut traffic deaths while debunking the sexist stereotype that men are better behind the wheel. In France, around 84% of deadly road accidents were caused by men. According to the government report, 93 percent of drivers causing an accident under the influence of alcohol were men. So, France is now asking its men to drive like women. And road rage isn't just limited to French men. It is the case for men across the globe. So, are men really better drivers than women? Palki Sharma tells you.

I don't think so. And I think your comments are inspired by the time she called the news headline by a Italian news paper, calling Italian PM Georgia Meloni "man of the year".
And now finding no sexism in asking man to drive like women.
I think Palki is right in both cases. Because, when you call a *women prime minister* , who has *run the country well* on the basis of *her own intelligence*, a man. Your simply down playing her intelligence and also saying only man can run a country this properly.
Similarly, if your asking *man, those who mostly drive carelessly,* like talking on the phone while and hitting a car simply cause your annoyed and cause 91% of the accident in the country, to drive like woman on the basis that they drive well, and not carelessly and don't hit a car just cause it annoyed them, why should it be sexist?

When you report there are more accidents involving more men than women you have to adjust for the Baseline.
You have to count not only absolute number of accidents involving men but how many men's were on the road and women's were on the road.
This is not what statistics teaches you, but stupid governance goes on making laws on false statistics.

No, she has flavour of the month topics like these. For decades movies, culture and literally everything on this damn planet celebrated cars, speed, risk, thrill of it etc. Now with safety standards being platinum grade, they want to dumb everything down. Why make them feminine, let men do men stuff. Don't suck fun out everything. Men can drive how they like under rules. You can never control a society by marking everyone as equals. It creates a dumb social construct.

It is disheartening considering that in the UK, individuals with our Indian heritage can become the Prime Minister and in the US, a woman with Indian background can hold the office of Vice President. It is unfortunate that us Indians are deprived of the opportunity to lead in Russia.
