The James Bowie High School Choir Department (Austin, Texas), under the direction of Aaron F. Bourgeois, performs Dolly Parton’s “Light of a Clear Blue Morning” arranged by Craig Hella Johnson. Dedicated to the James Bowie High School Class of 2020, this virtual choir was recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Wow! That is beautiful!! And I didn’t know Dolly Parton wrote that song. I’ve heard it performed by Austin’s own choral ensemble, Conspirare, and this JBHS version just gave me goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes! Especially listening to the lyrics and thinking about everything the Class of 2020 has been through. Thank you and way to go Bowie Choir!! 👏🙌❤️
