Gabrielle Anwar played her role as a nervous young lady beautifully
thanks for looking up her name good for you guy
She was the most beautiful woman in the world to me growing up. Her and Emmanuelle Béart
@@aarondavid5866
Her name is in the description of the video so it probably wasn't that hard to find.
this is one of the greatest scenes in cinema. "if you make a mistake in the tango, you get all tangled up, you just tango on" what a scene
This was an awful movie. AP was too over the top.
@@henrylee8510yes, but this scene was fun.
@henrylee8510 go watch fast and the furious series, that seems more up your alley.
Al is one of the greatest actors ever.
A normal-sighted person makes you believe that he is truly blind, by looking directly at his eyes, is a tremendously incredible acting skill!
Gabrielle Anwar was so stunning in this scene.
Such a beautiful and feminine young lady!!! So surprising she was all alone in that fancy salon
Al Pacino was born to play this role; it fit him like a second skin. "Hooah."
I look not only at Pacino, it seems the other actors and everybody liked making this movie. They learned how to tango.
AP is a great actor but he was way over the top, an overall awful movie. It was like a 2hr skit for AP
@@henrylee8510 I agree, but ... yes over the top, the movie wanted to be special. At least the movie stand alone or maybe some movie guy can come along and tell me this movie have been done before?
The most romantic movie scene ever. A shot straight to the ❤.
Al Pacino is a genius. I love his movies and this one tops them all. The way he plays a blind person is so natural. This movie should be shown to every high school student, especially now when our country is going through "alternative facts" being presented as facts and our political leaders espouse to populism and selling their souls for a sound bite.
The original movie is better. And Gassman is better than Al Pacino
I found this to be a bore and awful. It was written for AP to over the top, so outlandish and over acted.
Ignorant comments about better this better that when issues are staring you in the face that a director wants to show us. Snitching ?? Strangers approaching a woman ? What is your lame opinion of that?
While admitting to the difficulties in effectively portraying a blind person, I thought "Dog Day Afternoon" was one of his best. Ignore the ignorant and low class comments to your post.
Imagine thinking "populism" is bad. Lol.
One of my favorite movies of all time. Al Pacino is a living legend!
This scene has stood the test of time, an Oscar winning performance then and now...I never get tired of revisiting this ❤
Three amazing things: the soundtrack, the tango dancing & the movie scene ❤
One of the most beautiful scenes in movies. Always cheers me up.
What can you say about Pacino. WOW.
He deserved oscars for other movies.
Not this one?
I like the reactions of the people watching in the background…a brilliant scene, movie magic.
“ The moment you stop looking is the moment you stop living”
Couldn’t be more true in this crazy world we live in now.
Wow, Gabrielle was so charming, and the way she moves, just lovely. ❤
My heart beats a little quicker watching this scene. Pacino is magnificent 💙
"Hold me down, son." Love that line!
One of the best scenes of all time. Thank you for uploading this. 😊
In my writer's mind, shortly after Charlie and Frank parted their ways, Charlie ran into Donna once again, not by chance. He had learned something-he had confidence and life could be lived "in a minute". So he went back to this hotel, just in case, only not to see the lovely Donna. But, he heard a familiar sounding voice. Michael's. Even though he had only heard it once before and only briefly, he knew it to be him. He could not remember what he looked like, as his memory only held Donna's image. He followed Michael and it turned out to be a short walk. There before him, was Donna. He thought he'd hesitate, but....He walked over and said hello. She smiled sweetly and could not contain her joy of seeing him again. She let out a sigh, as of relief. It was. She was not wanting to go pick out her China pattern for their future dinner table, or for that matter, the dining table itself, with her future mother-in-law. They just exchange the proper conversation. Michael, being annoyed, said perhaps they should go...they shook hands and before saying good-bye she said that she often went to the hotel , sometimes just for tea, to listen to the band that played the lovely tango. They turned and left. Charlie could still smell the scent of Ogleby's Sister Soap, and it was worth every trip that he had been making to where they first met. Frank was going to be proud. Donna endured her afternoon of shopping with Michael's mother who brought her mother along as well and of course her own mother. She choose whatever they finally decided should be what she wanted. When it became time to part to get ready for supper , she left the three of them as they shrugged her silliness and she finally went her own way. Her way. She told them she just needed some tea. She smiled at herself when she saw Charlie waiting there for her. She hadn't even doubted it. He would never keep her waiting or tell her where to go. It was going to be a mess to take care of, but she hated that china pattern. She hated the ugly invitations they had chose for she and Michael. She realized that she hated Michael as well. Charlie gave a kiss on the cheek and said, "I am glad you came by. I've been wondering something." She asked, "What is that?" He replied with the same shy smile that she had remembered, "I have been wanting to learn the Tango. I thought -well, I hoped, you still wanted to learn as well." As it turned out, Frank was right. Her Grandmother loved Charlie. And-became quite fond of Frank herself. She loved to Tango.
Heart melting
Damn! That’s excellent!
Dancing right along with you. Thank you!
I loved to watch them dance so well beautifully done bravo 👏
beautiful Gabrielle Anwar!❤
One of my favorite films of all time.
this scene is totally legend...I watched it over and over again and never get bored...Gabrielle Anwar was sweet and shy yet gorgeous at the same time❤
This scene is so full of life and beauty it makes me smile and tier always
the look in his blind eyes.... I have no words to describe!
Great scene! Gabrielle is so lovely in this scene!
Carlos Gardel's "Por Una Cabeza" is my all-time fave tango song.
Por una cabeza de un noble potrillo, que, justo en la raya, afloja al llegar ... Forever Carlos Gardel: Cada día canta mejor !!!!
Смотрю и пересматриваю ... Женщина - это воск в руках настоящего мужчины, из которого он лепит свой образ.
This scene shines from the whole movie
One of the best scene and movie of Alpacino
Pacino is a national treasure.
Que actorazo Al pacino inolvidable y que tango (por una cabeza ) musica que enorgullese a los Argentinos.♥
Oh... This is such a beautiful movie!
Al Pacino great actor
Gabrielle Anwar is one of the most beautiful women in the history of motion pictures.❤
Right
Loved the movie.would love to see it again.
My dad looked a LOT like Al Pacino. Really miss my dad. 😭
RIP
Sounds like you had a great dad since you miss him like that ❤
That was an incredible scene.
All I can do is smile 😊😊😊😊
That scene is the definition of "charming".
No matter how old you are, if you can make her feel excited with laughter then you can have her! 😅
Al Pacino what a Legend
The one and only AL Pacino ❤❤
Al Pacino, sendo Al Pacino. Uma das cenas mais lindas é brilhantes do cinema de todos os tempos. Maravilhoso
SUPERB SCENE! GREAT PERFORMANCE, AL ! 👍❤️
Truly cinema magic
A fabulous scene!!! Thanks for sharing
Best foreshadow ever “Some people live a lifetime in a minute”
He does not teach her anything : she is a very competent tango dancer.
Actually she’s a competent dancer, knowing how to follow a man’s lead, which is basic to all “ballroom dancing”. Frank just taught her the steps and style, not how to dance with a man.
Great scene
ORGULLOSO DE MI TANGO ARGENTINO❤
Thanks to this scene when someone speaks about the music score, most of the people think of that tango......unfortunately because the real film music is something amazing
He is good at the dancing. I remember more recently where he played an ex-con who just wanted a dance with a young lady in Stand Up Guys. The movie wasn't great by any means, but the scene was quite sweet.
Magic.
Al Pacino❤, excelente pelicula
THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is one of my favorite scenes in ANY movie. Beautiful dancing and they each played their parts so well. 🫶💯
Beautiful cinema 🎉
I don’t care how old Al is, he’s hot.
Pacino is best as always
Magnifique filme une tuerie
I think this IS the great scenes i cinema, petty Miss Donna is not a beginer in tango, but is a expert ? in dancing, has a beautiful dancer body. But for the pleasure of this scene, let`s pretend we don`t know that. Al Pacino and Robert de Niro, greatest actors of their generations 🙂
Al Pacino epic scene. He will always be remembered for this movie and not The godfather either Serpico.
"No mistakes, un Tango, not like life ..."
Tu grand Al Palchino 👍👍👏
It’s something…))👌👌👌🥰
Porque crees la razón , y duele
Need more tengo clases
No not the greatest tango scene. True lies is better😁
Es un remake, gracias
❤❤❤❤
Charming scene, but I find it hard to buy that someone could learn to dance on the spot like that.
But she said she had tried to learn tango already, so she probably had some lessons earlier.
Cinematic Liberty.
It's a movie. Lighten up. Live in the moment and find the beauty instead of fault.
He did it the Pacino way
❤
Pacino moves healthier in tango than in daily routine
Coñoi miss alpacino movies.❤❤❤❤carlitos way.scarface.dog day afternoon.serpico.enought say
Amazing, from one lawyer movie to the next and he can still talk a woman into giving in..lol
Never will be as vertion original vertion with Vittorio Gassman and Alessandro Momo, was the best.
this movie just wants to make al pacino look good
That is the same song played in Schindler’s list!
Hooohaahhh...
Yeah....ah....VI's crazy
I think this scene is captivating. How pretentious a man should be to satay so confident even blind? Or when you have no more hope in life, and you put your ego aside …. miracle can happen?
Tak bylo jak przyjechalem do USA 7 Sierpnia 1987. Ludzie byli ludzmi i mieli elegancje, klase. Zawsze lubialem lokale wytrawne, eleganckie, ludzie elity kulturalnme lub kluby prywatne. Ale teraz sie mecze bo czasy sie zmienily. W takich restauracjach spedzilem moj Amerykanski czas ale malo czcams.com/video/p64QC00mqGs/video.html takich miejsc juz zostalo. Al Pacino Teaches the Tango (Full Scene)| Scent of a Woman
Ha
😮
Al Pacino is legend and I love him. But as I am not young anymore I cant stand anymore men telling women what to do.
Classic film ...made not too long ago. A-list cast of actors....at least in the case of Pacino. Who did a decent job portraying a blind ex-Army Ranger. Not the best actor but IMHO 'above average'. Heès just knoown for his 'bark'....FILM was well done through and through--script, phtoography, music....made sense.
Panino did a good job portraying a 'blind man'.... Made sure to never move his eys on close-ups...didnèt have to resort to wearing dark shades....
Whatever happened to Ms Anwar? Evil Hollywood ran her out of town prob.
This is Argentinian tango. And the woman is clearly well trained.
"SCENT OF WOMAN" of 1992 directed by M.Brest is a sloppy remake of "PROFUMO DI DONNA" 1974 directed da Dino Risi taken from the novel "Il buio e il miele" (The dark and the honey) written by the Italian writer Giovanni Arpino on 1969.
No matter of discussion about the talent of Al Pacino and Gassman, the two main actors, but, please, We give the merit to Dino Risi of the originality of the direction. Watch both films and compare them.
Lo scrisse perfino il New York Times con queste parole: "con tutto il rispetto per Al Pacino di mattatore c'e ne è uno solo Vittorio Gassman!
Let’s see a trans do that!
Gotta be the most ignorant and asinine statement in all of recorded history.
Que buen tango ,la cumparcita ❤
Prefiro com a dublagem brasileira, é a melhor do mundo.
I want someone to teach me the tango!!!!
B: I wanna teach you.
No, not you. 😊
