That Mr Sinister is cool af bro
I actually prefer this new version, as I think the colors match his original Inferno-era look (especially the exposed neck). The colors are also dark enough where any overuse of cell shaded shadows won't be too prominent in my display. I just wish they would have made a more neutral additional head option, as he is a scientist and ponders as much (if not more so) than he maniacally smiles.
Im not a huge fan of the cell shading but the reason why I got this is because this Mr.Sinister looks more like his comic counterpart than the windigo one.

I like him but I don't need him because I already have the Wendigo BAF version but I would get AOA Magneto, AOA Apocalypse, first appearance Sabretooth, Walgreen's Namor to use for a Reavers Murray Reese custom. Great review MCUcollector24.
They should have given him a briefcase and some test tubes or something like that. Just my opinion...Wolverine should be just a little taller than Jubilee.
Ordered him cuz I really like the character and design also mainly cuz I like this headsculpt and will probably put on my original sinister body
Nice review! Sinister is one of my favorite X-Men villains and I love the original version, so I’m looking forward to this new one. I’m a fan of the cel shaded look , it doesn’t bother me at all on any figure really.

Although for THIS one I agree with you... It Doesnt work ... it just looks like his costume is dirty ... maybe it'd work better if it was matte finish a different shade of blueish purple... I dont know but the head looks great but the suit doesn't work
They should've went with black shading, matching how he's drawn on TAS. To me, the grays look more like unpainted portions of the figure. But my biggest nitpick is that you keep unboxing these VHS style boxes from the top haha. Disney VHS clamshell style packaging would be cool to see, but I get they don't want to use more plastic.

Great review - thanks. I deliberately stayed away from the X-Men animation series because of $$$. From what I have seen so far, the cel shading on this line is not just lackluster, but in places it looks lazy. I hope they get it sorted out for next years releases.

If they’re gonna do cell shading they got to go all out, not like on the Jubilee and Wolverine figs. I like sinister the most out of the 3 you showed.
I actually do think the face looks far more sinister than the regular one. Like you, I'm not a fan of the cell shading though. It also makes even less sense now that we have an animated Apocalypse coming out that does NOT have it. I'm going to take my chances and wait for Hasbro to have another big sale on Pulse to see if these X figures are part of that. Though, if Cyclops comes with Morph's legs rather than having the stupid rubber pieces that always slide down his legs, I may bite on him regardless of the cell shading.
I'm surprised Disney is getting them in, but they have forever lost me as a customer after the stunt they pulled with the X-Force set.
It’s weird yours looks like a dark grey but I’ve seen on others where it looks a lighter grey
