Imagine if hasbro is going to do the sub line for the Spider-Man animated series in about 2 years because that marks the 30 years since the Spider-Man animated series came out and they get the cell shading treatment.
@@MCUcollector24 agreed. The venom is cell shaded but not 100% accurate to the animated series and the hobgoblin is close to the animated series look but it’s not quite there.
@@scyphozoa717 They did make a somewhat inspired but not really. Spiderman looks nothing like the animated series one. I really think they should put the effort on doing it down the line. Maybe they should add the Nano tech Spiderman Unlimited suit figure as part of that too. We don’t have any legends with that show.

To answer your question... Yes, plastic is worse for the environment than paper/cardboard. Much worse. Mostly that is because it takes an eternity to degrade and plastic recycling is not nearly as common or practical as we are lead to believe. Growing trees is also far more sustainable than drilling for oil or natural gas to make plastics.
I broke the ankle on my old jubilee, and this one is more animated correct without over doing the shading effects. Her and morph are the only 2 I dont care if they look more like the animated series!!🤞🤷♂️
I like this figure, Even though I don't have her, But Jubilee is cool with the accessories she comes with like 2 heads, and special affects for each hand because this will work for a Jim Lee X-MEN display despite the self shading. Excellent and dope review Bryant.
I really like the head with the sunglasses on her forehead--that was a look that was nearly impossible to keep steady on the previous figure, so I'm glad it was included. Also I prefer the opaque glasses for over the eyes, as she is often depicted without her eyes showing through the glasses (I'm also afraid the translucent glasses are more fragile). Basically this new figure not only gave me a good looking Jubilee with over the eyes sunglasses, but also better sunglasses for my older figure as well. I just wish Hasbro had given her new effects parts that match her power set better (I gave the swirlies to one of my Scarlet Witches).
I love the Jubilee action figure. But these toy companies need to chill out with the cell shading stuff, because with action figures or basically anything that you have in front of a light you don't need shells cell shading because the light will shade everything for you. It'll put the colors in the right place and it won't look weird when you have. The light on certain opposite sides period also am I. The only person that notices that Jubilee's jacket is not as long as it should be or is that just me still awesome figure, though?
that cardboard tray in the packaging looks quite crude tbh. Also not having the plastic window will prevent potential buyers from inspecting the figure for paint defects or other oddities before purchase which is in fact a major bummer
I'd like to take the top half of the new and drop it on the waist down if the Caliban wave. Not sure if that's feasible without cracking it. Otherwise I'm getting this for the new heads and paint on the Caliban.
Well... a lot to say about this. I'm a huge X-Men fan, and huge Jubilee fan, so yes, I'm getting all VHS figures (Even Ugly Jean). I'm also a fan of the cel-shading work on figures, and I think this was the main idea of these figures, since that's the "animated" effect. However, I agree... this is minimum on these figures. So, I really don't understan the hate of the "TOC" of some collectosrs, since these figures could perfecly feat in a comic characters display, and you would not even notice the cel-shading. Personally I would have added the black lines as they do with Diamond Select busts, so these could have looked much more like animated, but I think Hasbro thought about those collectors who couldn't get previous versions of these characters, so they could kill two birds with one stone, pleasing those and somehowe the cel-shaded fans like me! I also gave to piont out the stingy-greedy Hasbro way, raising prices and including less. I would have loved a smily face headsuclpt for Jubilee, or an angry one for attacking poses. Also, new power effects for her that really feels like fireworks would have been amazing!...or at least the ones they included but with multicolor paint technique and glitter encapsulated (just look at new Mojovision Dazzler's)...trying to make them look like in the box!...something else creative! The careless aspects like her old vampire head without earrings (they could have added them somehow) or Wolvie's alternate fists without the little "tubes" where the claws pop out from! Anyway... I think the VHS boxes are beautiful (they could have mimic the same VHS box size though, becuase these are bigger), and yes, the figures in general are amazing! They look great... they just could have looked perfect and this perfection would not have implied much efforts...just paying attention to details!
The worst part of the figure is the knees, mine doesn't articulate much as well, it's a shame. It's the first and only figure I have problems with that.
I have a vhs pillow case, pillow, handkerchief box, a box of VHS boxes, a swimming pool shaped decorative VHS tantive 4 hallway VHS holder, a VHS pooptube reviewer alarm,a VHS distribution center playset and I don't like this one. Old a jubilee of crap 😝
Looking at the Caliban wave Jubilee alongside this one, I'm good with my Caliban wave comic version. Frankly, it's better, especially the boots and lack of ugly cell shading.

Those aren’t technically based on the animated series though. While some of them are truer animated inspired figures, 90% are comic based
