One day I hope to be able to speak up as boldly as she has done. I know the therapeutic effects of speaking up. I relate perfectly well to her story only that I am a man. I sought solace in speaking up through my CZcams channel. One day I pray I have this kind of boldness. Parents need to stop being selfish and take full responsibility in bringing up their children soberly.

When an adult does that to you at such a young age, it's not called Lesbianism. That's a Paedophilia.. Calling it Lesbianism gives a bad name to consenting adults who are attracted to each other. But still, I empathize and sympathize with your situation. It's horrible that you went through this. No child should go through what you went through. Children should be protected and understood.

@@SharedMomentswithJustus yes I saw that comment, it was very insensitive. Molestation affects your psychy and gets ingrained in your brain. This even opens up evil spiritual doors that let in even more vile stuff. The enemy knows this , this is why he influences grown ups to do such despicable acts to young children. This is the ver first time I am publicly recounting this terrible ordeal I went through. Thank you for sharing such stories to the world, it truly puts us a step closer to full psychological, emotional and spiritual healing. God bless you Justus

Just to add, to avoid replicating negative perpetuities in your life, use positive language. Rose kept saying that she didn't want to end up a single mum like her mum and didn't want to have a man/husband like her stepfather - and ended up in the same situation she wanted to escape from childhood. Instead, she should have said, I will be in a happy marriage before I have my children, I will have a loving, caring, honest, and kind man for a husband..etc. I hope this helps others on the same boat and good luck to you Rose, I hope your future is greater than your past. Shalom.

I agree, I was very impressed with her ‘self-awareness’ and emotional intelligence, especially considering how young she is and what kind of parenting she received (or should I say, that she did NOT receive) - I am amazed at her maturity!!
I am much older than she is, and I wish I had as much self-awareness and emotional maturity as she does. I had a messed up family too, in many ways like HER family - but I didn’t learn anything from it really, nothing helpful.... and so I ran away a lot, and not just locally .... one time, as a young teenager, I even stole money (a LOT of money!!) from my sister who was 10 years older than me (she forced me to live with her, because she hated our mother, and she spent so much time speaking badly about our mum, and she was very controlling of me, like i was her slave - and that really messed up my head.... so I stole the money because I was desperate to escape), and I bought a plane ticket to another country thousands of miles away... I was 15 yrs old. Some people would say ‘oh, what you did is terrible’.... but I was escaping all these family problems. (I paid her back, by the way, when I finally returned to my country - it took me a LONG TIME to pay all of the money back. But sadly, she then made me come live with her again, and the only way I finally escaped from her was by getting married at 20 yrs old to someone I knew i should not be marrying..... mmmmm).

Wow 😢 I am so sorry for what you you went through . I can imagine that it takes a lot of courage for you to share this.. Thanks so much for speaking openly about this things that happen behind closed doors. A lot of Kids suffer in silence, and alot of parents are not aware. You are helping to give kids the courage to speak, and parents to identify the alarm signals. Thank you. I pray that you will heal. You are so gorgeous and so brave and so intelligent.. May God bless you abundantly and open doors for your success 🙏🏿 your laughter and smile is beautiful. You are a survivor💖

Fiercely intelligent..well articulating.. Her introvertedness in her earlier phase of her life has made her a very empathetic person because she keeps on reiterating often by saying '.. i understand/understood..'...she has come a long way... She has used her painful experiences to distill useful lessons for herself and her child.. That is healing coming through if you ask me.. . Kudos Rose!
