The only mistake the friend did is to tell her to get a place before arriving from Kenya. It’s true in UK you must tell your landlord how long is your visitor is staying. It’s written i the contract. The friend should had gotten her own place

Story of my life in the UK,I can't hold back tears listening to this,I faced exactly the same problem.But as God works in mysterious ways,it's been 14 years and I own my own home today, my friend who treated me badly is now living in penury back in Africa.

Also, People from Our Countries; get a Sense of Superiority When they are in other countries.

l have one whom l thought is my friend cz we grew up together, did high school together and she moved to my house stayed with me for a yr but after she moved out when settled, l kept on checking on her and she had the guts to tell me she will come back when she has time, l do not need to text her 😢 and it has been a yr now l never heard anything from her and to be honest l no longer want to help anyone in terms of accommodation cz l am hurting
